You won't be gentle with me? That's cool I'm only the guy who heals you and stuff! I also like to play like a pacifist that's why meroe found me hitting air a lot (please don't tell meroe!).
Look forward to you too Jaba!I'll take you through the quests if we're online on the same time! The first quest you've to do yourself though, unless you press the skip button, which should be there, but I didn't find!
I was stuck on that quest for hours, using sneak in stead of search on a wall!

Yeah true, with the experience part anyway. I used to do that with Diablo 2 as an example. I was pretty noobish but I went with some players that were much better than me, saw what they did and went with them when they went on Quests and I slowly got better as I realised what was right and what was wrong and learnt many things as well. Hopefully I can be the same with this game.
With the microphone question, with many games you have to use an outside program like Vent to be able to talk. So I assume the game already has that or something similar in it and we just talk like normal?
I'll be on there soon. Like I said, it's downloading pretty quickly so hopefully when it's done I can quickly finish that first mission and then be able to join a party. Is the first mission hard at all? Will I have any difficulties?

I have been using ventrillo before, with counter strike. DDO have ingame mechanics that works like ventrillo. Just hold down the F-key and the people in your party will be able to hear you.

Alright, that's good then. Is there some kind of Paladin or Warrior type class? I want to be able to kill things and not be some kind of healer or something.

Wizard
High damage output, more boring than sorcerer
EDIT: Best find a line-up where you have a good healer (cleric/ paladin) a good damage taker and front line fighter(Fighter/ barbarian) a good damage dealer (sorcerer/ wizard) with nice AOE spells and such and a jack-of-all-trades, like a ranger or a rogue. When you have five dudes, you can always take a bard with you.

Yes it was on that link that DG gave me but it does show you when you go in as well.

I think I'd either be the Fighter or the Paladin. I would use a Barbarian but I don't like having no armour even though there are ways to counteract that. I wouldn't need much use for Spells if there are other spell casters in our party so I'm most likely going to pick Fighter.

Some you have to pay for but we are using the free ones.

I am not completely certain, but I'm quite confident the fighter is free. I'll go check when I eventually get the connection up, it's been loading for ages now.

He is working, theres an 8 hour time difference between us. The good thing is we always find time to talk .
Havent been able to ask him. I have emailed him but he cant always answer straight away especially if hes busy and soemtimes theres not a very good signal.

Uh, you should be named Haley and choose a girl character! This way it'll so far be 3 girls and 1 guy. That's almost better than 2 girls and 1 cup!
Edit: Meroe did complain about the lack of a rogue in the party earlier and DG did also suggest a rogue and a figther, so I imagine that would work well together with Will!
Then we've a ((The following is a comic reference, not a reference to the actual persons and is not supposed to taken offense at, the comic it's referencing to is called order of the stick)) Genious figther, Evil Bored sorcerers, psychopathic Ranger, Bald Cleric and a horny rogue!

I wonder what Jaba and Duke will play! Duke will probably be someone who'll get all the ladies, so a God or something and Jaba is probably gonna be a halfling barbarian or something else swedish
