Thanks, I will play the game, map looks great. The crash may be also related to the red events, which give him >100k gold daily. Sooner or later his gold will go in negative (+3 millions every month), I will try all colors as human and report what I found.

This map has some serious problems. While I am struggling for income, tan player found in tavern your uber hero



Which gives him a nice daily income.


I am not sure how to play this map. Any tips?

Eh, is that Lord Haart? He is a bonus I'm confused about "uper" and then realize it is "super"...Yeah, he is designed to boost player's economy.


About tips...Hmm, capture the town Lazov/Lavos as soon as possible to learn Town Portal, Resurrection and Implosion. And then quickly defeat Vokial to assemble Statue of Legion. The underground part is dangerous, enter with caution.

There are two main active heroes for each evil clan. Princess and Voldemort will be tough enough.

As for Boss, I assume that Ash and Marva will be the hardest opponent.

P.S. I don't know why, but actually I can't see your pictures, regretfully...

I read your comments on chinese forums. It seems you guys have a different version, me playing on Heroes complete (4.0) and Haart never shows up in tavern. In fact, on first day, he isn't even on the map. The random hero is a regular one.

Without Haart I would need 3 months to get the 300 resources to capture town. Can you send me a save from first day (stronghold) from your version, where Haart is on?

I managed to get Haart by enabling Culthbert for all players, strange.
Here is my progress:

Save 2.2.6

Have all towns, but next I will be stuck at the necro in middle. He has 3000 vampires, cursed ground and dispel. So I don't see how to kill him without very heavy loses. I have 38 titans and 500 elves as shooters...
Not a single speed artefact on all map, so my main force, the behemots, is slower than his vampires. I could bring more shooters, as cyclops and mages, but the vampires love low HP creatures, will raise fully.

Well, that is, I've tested it with HC. too. Lord Haart will also appear. He is the Castle random hero and I've made sure when playing using SoD, 3.2 or 4.0, Haart are sure to appear.

Enabling Cuthbert is OK. but actually you can enable any Knight or Cleric. Save Map. And then disable s/he, Lord Haart will appear. This progress can set the random number right. Version makes no problems, if he disappear, that is because you use Map Editor or Restart Option.

Vokial? Bring enough shooters, hydras, archangels, behemoths, I think that will be quite easy, and as for myself, in Month 3 Week 4, I defeat him losing just some lizardmans. Do not bring Marksmen. Grand Elves are OK.

I figured out, just followed the road and got golden bow before. Then Volkial died fast. I am now at Malekith. I do not have archery, if I knew I would take it . Next time.

Why you suppose that the random hero will be castle one? I saw him being everything, from heretic to necro.

Ech, I think I am not going to play it. I downloaded new version, tried to unzip and voila:
The archive is either in unknown format or damaged.

I managed to do it before, with older version, so it is not winrar problem.

I finished it on month 7. There are a lot of new mapmaking ideas which I loved and I enjoyed the play. The only thing I dislike is the need of many hit&run (50+!) on a few heros. It is interesting to weak them but it gets repetitive after a while. Lucifer, Ash could go, but the last hero is simply ridiculously strong, so I spent a few hours to weak him on various locations. I suggest to halve their armies, to keep it reasonable.

The big amount of artefacts is getting tedious to manage after a while, for example the red flame sword is coming early game before we could know we need it at the end, so I sacrificed it. There is only one copy ion the entire game, thus I was unable to build the combo and fulfill the last quests.

You were right, it is the red hero which is hanging the game, strange.

It will also be more enjoyable if the main heros had some useful specialty, for instance I played orange barbarian and his specialty are...black knights.

If a few reasonable changes are made, I would recommend this map to any Heroes fan, 10 years later people still have new and unique mapmaking great ideas. Thanks

Well, I've set Pink's race as Castle and keep balance in heroes so that Lord Haart the Knight is sure to appear...that is.

Yeah, thanks, I will heed your advice. Hmm, I'll add an event in the beginning to inform players to keep any artifacts that can be assembled.

Actually I'm afraid whether Ash is too strong, seemingly not, very well.

Have you defeated the last hero? He took the necro town, I did 2 hit and run on him, and on his turn game freezes.

Hmm? I didn't use H/R and use creatures to beat her. Now I suppose in the new version he is not a big problem. You should have received my e-mail, isn't it?

He has 32000 lyches and his 300 azure dragons have insane defense, I have no idea how to beat him in one fight. 1 archangel does 10 damage, I let you figure how many I need to kill 300 x 1250 HP.

Funny that you changed the heros for human factions, exactly as I did in my second play. I changed the tower hero to Orrin, and you did same. It is much less frustrating when using him.



I will try the new version soon, to see Aphrodite. I know this high level Armageddon from the other chinese maps. Over 32000 damage, right?

Very well, actually that's 375,000 damage and exactly 300*1250, Azure Dragons will die under just one Armageddon.
