"So, you're awake." Obsidian said from behind Adal. "I was hoping that something that could channel the light would not be slain so easily. Come now, you're traveling with me for a while." He kicked the horse laying on the ground, twitching. "Why do they think you are dead?" The Templar tried to lift the horse so as to carry it back. He succeeded admirably... for five meters, and once again fell flat on his face with the horse on top of him.
Obsidian wormed his way out from under the fallen animal. "I think that I'll just leave you there..." It neighed pitifully in response. "I'm sorry, I just can't do it..." The horse opened its eyes to stare at him pleadingly. "... come patsy!" He tapped Adal on the shoulder and walked back to the tavern.

It was then that Obsidian realized that Adal had memory loss. "We are going on an adventure. You still need to talk to our leader, but he's taking volunteers. He's sitting back there" The templar pointed back to where Horace was. "You'll want to talk to the human." With that, Obsidian went back to his drink.

Magnus looked at Adal while showing Horace the bullet moulds, then sniffed his drink.
- Drago, ye see him too? Or there's somethin' fishy in me drink?
- It's not the drink. I see him too.- Dragomir said calmly. He was playing with his necklace, the 'guild emblem' as he called it. A jewel composed of a ruby, obsidian and silver, fashioned to look like a dragon's eye. The necklace also had four Grey Macetail's, which was Drago's first successfully hunted dragon((pony sized drake with an ankylosaurus like tail)),fangs. Magnus had a similiar one, just the eye in the necklace was made primary from topaz and the fangs once belonged to a Lesser Dune Lindorm((Desert dwellers, lives undergroud, roughly the size of a nile crocodile)).
- Don't say that the runt wants to join too.-Magnus laughed- I ain't seein' what use he'd be of, except for finding b!tches for ye fellas. Still, none of me business whom yer takin' along the way.

Darren sighed. He's probably never going to get this complicated map business done, like this.
"Come on in, then, the door is open."
As Boolroc opened the door he saw Darren sitting at a desk with a big map and a small note book sitting there with a gun on top of it, which couldn't have been more than ten inches away from Darren's right hand. The room, all else considered was pretty non-descript with a bed and a small chest in front of it. Darren turned on his chair to face Boolroc and as he turned, he started to raise an eyebrow of amused surprise or maybe it was just a condescending look.
"Well, don't we have a very articulate member of some proletarised race, here." The smile that followed the comment certainly was condescending.
"Please, state your business."

So shut up." improvised Adal, still not quite sure what was going on. He turned back to Horace and said, "I will assume from this point on that I am going with you all as a comrade of the blackstone giant. Thank you."
With that, Adal bowed, turned, and went to find Obsidian.

Boolroc would have gladly cut out Darren's tongue for that. He would gladly hand this man over to Limp and perhaps he would help a hand collecting the 'proper' interest for his late returns.
He satisfied himself with returning the quip.
"Says the shaven monkey's who never had two measily florins to rub together. I've heard the talk."
Boolroc approaced the table.
"All wit aside, I'd like to join you and your brother in the hunt for Zaun's vault."

Boolroc looked Darren in the eyes, his maw dangling in his face.
"To a man of honor, a backhanded compliment is worse than an honest insult."
Boolroc backed off a bit.
"As good a brawler I may be, that's not my greatest asset. I'm a professional gambler and a good one at that. So I'm never strapped for coin long." Boolroc lets several coins dance over his claws, before spiriting them away again.
"Plus I am a pretty resourcefull Sobekan. Give me a day or two and I can get you anything. And given you can meet the price, I mean everything."
Boolroc started pacing through the room.
"Now, you'll ask, why would a cardplayer with plenty coin join a risky undertaking like this? Well the deal is this. I'm looking to marry the prettiest Sobekan Girl you'll ever meet. Thing is, her old man doesn't like me that much. She refused to elope, several times actually. But he's given me a chance, he'll allow us to marry, if I can prove to make a pretty pouch of coins without resorting to gambling. Now I've been looking for a good opportunity to do just that. And you're undertaking seems to have a good chance of plenty of honest profit."
Boolroc ended before the desk again.
"So what say you?"

Darren was amused as the Sobekan opened his mouth to feign surprise.
"I say that you're lying." Darren says. "This is, not at all, a good business venture. Besides, you don't look like a gentleman gambler. Also, I didn't know Sobekans marry and I certainly didn't know there were Sobekans who were even close to "not-dirt-poor" in the neighbourhood. Actually, come to think of it, where're you from? How did you get in this little bit of nowhere?"

You should visit the coastal cities or the Southlands, if you want to see more well-to-do Sobekans. Where fish and meat are more in supply."
Boolroc realy had to hold himself back, this human was downright insulting. The ugre to hurt him for his abuse was great.
"But to answer your questions, I am from Ronsenburg." Which, for a change wasn't that untrue. Boolroc was hatched in Ronsenburg, eventhough he had not been there in few years. "I was traveling to Moebius City. I've heard there's good coin to be made there, since the Goblins have started banking there." Which again wasn't that untrue, the rumours of the major Goblin banking activities in Moebius City were plenty. "I'm admitting that I'm taking my good time getting there, but then again, I never could resist playing a game of cards in the taverns along the way, or making a few coins on the races." Boolroc backed off a bit.
"But this venture is a, what you humans would call, a Godsend. While more risky, there is a good chance of more profit and less boring paper-pushing. I just had this image of the Sobekans in Mansraught, where they are all dock workers and have a really nasty lisp when speaking our language, you know? Anyway, that is not important. I appreciate it when someone is trying to make his way in the world, especially someone brave enough to deal with goblins." Darren said. "And, though I doubt your motives, you seem like the resourceful type and when we get in Mansraught, I'm sure I could use your skills in acquiring some effective means of transportation."
He got up and extended his hand towards Boolroc. "I'm Darren, by the way, if you haven't already caught that and I hope our dealings will prove to be less spiteful than our first meeting, mister... ?"

Boolroc accepted Darren's hand, carefull not to scrape it with his claws.
"Boolroc. And don't call me mister, it makes me feel old."
Boolroc resisted a new urge, the one to let his other claw wander and stuff something down his vest. He released not to be tempted more.
"Not intending to make the impression that all Sobekans know oneanother, the Sobekans of Mansraught are nearly all recent imigrants from a particular backwards region of Nile'Is. They're the kind that only imigrated because there aren't enough jobs for them at home but would return the moment that changes. Mind if I take a look at that map?"

Darren didn't really want to, but darren also didn't really want to instigate any bad blood between him and Boolroc. "Sure, have a look."
And walked over to the desk and completely unrolled a huge map, the edges of which fell over the desk, in parchment with many things scribbled on the lines that indicated land and ocean in many strange symbols and drawings.

Boolroc quickly looked over the map and the notes.
"Plotting the course, huh? Not that I'm an expert navigator, but if you're going where I think you headed, which would be here," Boolroc pointed at a specific spot on the map near a line that was lightly drawn on it, "I wouldn't try get there from Mansraught. The only ships that stop there are fishermen and freighters bound for Joossan. Plus, you'd have to get around the reefs here," Boolroc pointed at another spot along the line, "and there is some superstition about those, if I remember it well."
Boolroc looked at the map some more.
"Here, in Yiddit, would be a better place to embark, I'd think. The journey is longer, but it's more direct. And Yiddit is a more of a gathering spot for adventurers, so there'd be more captains that wouldn't mind an unusual destination."
