Does HOMM3 work for Mac OS X?
I heard that it doesn't, but I am about to order the game for the Mac, but I want to make sure first. Can anyone confirm that HOMM3 works for Mac OS X?

It was made in the Mac OS 8-9 era, so your best bet is to use an old mac that doesn't us intel and run the compatibility mode in OSX Panther or lower. At least if you want to play without any tweaks or hacks or have to compile your own stuff like a linux user.

The Windows version of HoMM3 works fine on OSX with Wine. Multiplayer (other than hotseat) might not work though.
