It's not, there is no evil option in ME series.
Rather you have to choose being either nice or an a-hole.

I've come tot he conclusion that ME's paragon/renegade system is actually good, the decision isn't based on good or bad and you only get 'judged' for the means not the end, for example: (most cases)
Very minor spoiler:
You can choose to have a child augemented or you choose to leave him as he is (you don't get judged for this or maybe you do, but the paragon renegade decision lies with how you convince said person for that decision)
I chose to augement the child (now the convincing part), put a gun to the ******'s head nad force her to accept, done.
It's a question whether you want to be an snow or a silvertongue guy. But you can pick an 'evil' option and convince people using paragon. (I used paragon to extort someone lol).

No, thankfully it's not very much like Dragon Age. The story, characters and action are vastly superior.
Too bad you skipped it, especially since the controls aren't that confusing. You're missing out on one of the best game series ever.

I HATED Dragon Age but just love Mass Effect.

Everything that involves using ones keyboard is a lost cause for me hence killed tons of good games...
Hope they release MA 3 soon for you guys
Dragon age origins is a nice game IMO...

imo the universe is pretty boring (standard fantasy) and I just can't stand the combat in it
ME2 has so much better combat and ME3s combat just looks so smooth and fantastic

I was always a sucker for swords and bows, the only space game I ever played was starcraft so standard fantasy doesnt bother me all that much, IMO they had a couple of nice things within the game so I enjoyed it...
Usually when bioware shows previews it looks smooth and awesome, I just hope the end game will be good as well and not another one of their fast money games

*Spoiler* I guess. I'm restarting a renegade class, for some reason I'm in the mood to play the kind of dude that gets the job done. But in ME2 I'll need to max out my renegade before the suicide mission, because I'm going out with a ****ing bang. (I.E not leaving that base for newb Cerberus)
Edit: I also just bought Arrival.

what I love about Mass Effect is how connected the trilogy is
it's storytelling at its best
the choices you make really do make a difference and in ME3, your choices are going to influence the fate of the entire galaxy >.>

I've read in most interviews that your choices in ME1 will be more used in M3 than they were in ME2. (so I'll need to every singly crabby side mission to make ME3 all that it can be) I'll be doing the same in ME2 but one step at a time 
Though I can't wait for ME3 if it were to come out tomorrow, I would not be happy lol.

Let's just NEVER mention it again. Even fake spoilers **** up my mind.

Hahaha Missed this dialogue option on my earlier playthroughs.
Renegade shep can be pretty win at times  'least in ME1 I can vary my dialogue options without hurting my Charm/Intimidate chances.

After reading a few posts here, decided I should go and check it out again... Checked the demo/gameplay of MA3, over the shoulder camera view  hell no...
Thank god starcraft and diablo are soon to be released for people like me who need old fashioned camera views
