True, but the main point of it is to test the server, and everyone who partakes gets into the real beta as well, where changes can be made.

I don't know about You, but for me this "server load" sounds suspicious. Maybe a tell-tale sign of the return of online DRM? For the Beta it makes sense, but please tell me the full game won't have it...

"server load" is the server capacity to handle a large number of users. They just want to make sure that their servers won't crash once there is 50+ people on it.
Well, not interested in the beta anyway
