Tooltip Values

As you well know by now the some of the tooltips are bugged and display incorrect values. The purpose of this thread is to compile them so if you notice anything out of place or feel free to report it here. The spell description does not always match the value you see by hovering the cursor over the unit.


- Icebolt does damage normally despite saying 0 damage.

- Slow/Haste gives -11 init and -2 speed while it says -11 speed and so on.

- Logistics says it gives 3% extra movement but actually gives +3 movement points.

- Evasive maneuvers is a LOT stronger than 10%.

It says Stand your Ground lasts 29 turns, but it only lasts 3.

- Rush! Gives 16 initiative and 50% extra speed, despite saying 17 and 17%.

- Heroism Gives 16 Luck and Morale for 3 turns, despite saying 17 for 17 turns.

Hunger is missing it's tool tip all together. :/

I had both topics up -.-

But on tooltips: The number of rounds something lasts seems to be a bit off in many cases.

Btw, I wish it would say that mass regeneration overrides regeneration (which is more powerful for the single stack).

Regeneration lasts 5 turns, not 65
Retribution aura I lasts 3 turns, not 49 (however I can't confirm the 49% of damage).

Isn't logistics +3 movement points instead of + 3% (or +2)? It's in my version anyway and it works even when you have no movement left, if you take logistics then it adds 3 steps .

I am A L M O S T sure that retribution DOES at around 50% of damage. now the exact... needs some more math and testing!

@anyone that wants to help with the tooltips...

I will start a project to make a thread with all the abilities with pics and their descriptions. Could you people help with the durations, damages, effects etc ? in case they are wrong in game that it!

Yes logs is +3 movement after all. At some point my hero had movement 25 but I have since noticed that starting heroes have 24. It is possible he had an artifact for +1 movement that logistics ignored or that it was a random bug.

There are still many values that are off (fire shield giving 0 defense for 0 turns and so on), but it seems like the numbers change all the time. Is is worth the effort to post them here?

If they are not consistent probably not. Do they look to be tied to the number of attackers or defenders, I forget?
