The saves are all in the same menu (load games), under different icons but I don't think you can upload them since they are stored on the server. Maybe in final product they will allow saves on computer.

Knut, that tactics, can, if at all, work only on easy, since you are missing the necessary resources. For Inferno you would need:
7 w/o for Town/City Hall +
8 w/o for Capitol with an architect
5 w/o for Wall
20/25/20 for champion (which leaves room for 1 build, but Market Place in Inferno costs 2/2/FIVE (+3000), so it's out of the question.

That means, you need 40 Wood, 45 Ore and 20 Crystal. Even if you flag both Ore and Wood on day 1, which isn't possible on all positions, you get only 12 W/O via mines, so you need to find a lot of resources. On Hard it's definitely impossible. On Easy it may work due to the amount of heroes and starting troops allowing an early breakout. Medium would be the difficulty to check it, but I don't expect that to work, since you can't hire all those heroes early, break out early enough to make it count and have 2 level five heroes in town which would depend on picking fastest levelling speed and abusing chests and monolith.

On normal difficulty I don't think it works since the piles of blood stones are in few numbers and the +15% doesn't apply there. A possibility is to build the upgrade marketplace but you need many artifacts to compensate the ressources spent there so it's better spent on other things. But the idea is good to apply on a timeline of 2 weeks preparing for a pack of champions on day 1-3-1. You need to clear the area with starting heroes (easy with haven, sanctuary and necro but harder with other factions although some losses are not very important). From 1-3-1 the healing factions will have their advantage reduced considerably .

Just Town/City Hall + champion is possible on hard difficulty though. (With luck maybe even with basic fortification)

With 2 arch1 its 4/5 champ on week2.

I'm not sure how growth was modified, but it seems like it is possible to build massive armies in no time.

Don't worry, I'm testing it myself. It'll take some time though, it's on the same map where I'm checking the Haven vs. Stronghold theory.
And what's this madness with Champions during week 1? Where do you people find the gold and the resources for this? Or you're all playing on Easy?

Champions on normal difficulty can be done on 1st week but need some luck with blood crystal piles and you must take crystal mine first day. 2nd day the 2 other mines with the 2 other heroes hired. Then hope for the crystal piles to give more than 1 . But best way is to make them on 2nd week and still produce gold and core units to be able to buy all on day 1-3-1. Of course give all heroes architect, except "maybe" main...

On Normal the piles aren't giving me anywhere near enough resources to upgrade to level 3 city and build the Champion dwelling in week 1. If you are facing shooters guarding the gold sources, then this is definitely a no-go for factions without healers - inevitable losses.
By the way, while we are on the topic, I think that the Champion dwellings should have some more adequate prerequisites - at least 1 Core and 1 Elite dwelling, eventually a wall too. Currently it's like the Heroes III Stronghold, which is rather cheap. And of course the Champions themselves should receive a good boost.

Tried it on Normal for Inferno.
Position 2. Captured all Mines on day one, got full 20% reduction for City Hall/Capitol, couldn't build Basic Fortification, but still ended up with 5 Pit Fiends on Day 8.
Which I couldn't actually hire due to a lack of the necessary Crystals.
Was a bad game anyway, since I got the week of Festivals (facepalm).

So, yes, it's possible on normal.

On Hard you can make it, if you leave the Capitol as well. MAYBE. On hard it's tight, and you should have problems with the more expensive champ dwellings.

I just did it with blue and Haven too . built only Celestials and fortifications and lv3 town. Before end of week I had 3 heroes and still +6500 gold so I hired 2 more and all had architect skill. Result 8 Celestials day 8 and 14,12,12 core units from external dwellings (normal growth +5). Now, break on day 8, sell some artifacts on external market and the rest as normal. Also I have enough core units from 5 heroes and dwelling. But it was close and not worth even if I knew some days before that I'll make it thanks to observatory and counting the crystal piles. I had just 20 crystals, I should have build the market otherwise. But with normal play and with objective Celestials on week 3 the expansion is much quicker and we don't lose so much in the end. So it's a risky business

Just tried it with Inferno on Normal. It worked but barely. I had 19 crystals on day 7 and had to attack 47 Harpies with 18 Succubi, 12 Maniacs and 6 Hell Hounds. Made it with 70% losses, thanks to the otherwise nearly useless Firebolt but got a few Pit Fiends at the beginning of week 2.
By the way this is the first time I see Hateful Retaliation in action and I must say that it actually does some pretty nasty damage and now I definitely have higher opinion of the Pit Fiends/Lords (Boundless Hate is still a joke though).
On a side note - Economist is excellent for secondary heroes. After the primary one clears the neutrals guarding the piles, the secondary with the skill can take the resources with a good additional benefit.

I wonder if having so many champions so fast doesn't make them lose their prestige. though, I don't remember any high level creatures being harder to get than H2 dragons and giants.

on hard difficulty i would recommend to go for elites instead.Getting 13 elites a week with capitol is pretty good as well. It is cheaper and you can afford more heroes with architect 1. Also starting on week 4 you can still get champions with good growth.

does anyone think architect 1 will be moved back a tier or otherwise changed?
It does work as intended, but the developers probably did not intend people to mass heroes with architect 1.

I'm in two minds about this, I like the fact that the option is there to commit all your resources to a game plan from the start. If having a champion dwelling or all 3 upgraded core dwellings was balanced (not sure) then that's two viable strategies. Make champions too hard to get = less possible strategies. On the other hand I think rushing a champion dwelling and spamming architect I heroes could be imba.

Right. If you amass the Crystals in one week to go for a Champion dwelling - why not? I'd think that this should even work with ONE (MAIN) Architect Hero and Walls, but not with a basically unlimited amount of them.
Going for Champions is a bit crippling for resources, so there are drawbacks, but on bigger maps, if you get 5 or 6 or even 7 or 8 Champion creatures in week 2, with a ton of heroes that can always stay in that area or come back at the end of the week, would be bull.
