Forgot to reply a few weeks ago when I first began watching that series.
Absolutely amazing
Though the subplots aren't that fun imo, main hilarity is still the Emperor reacting to historical events told from his subordinate

I fell in love with Nurgle, always thought I'd either go down Khorne route with 'Blood for the Blood god, skulls for the skull throne!' yell or Slaanesh (tho reading the Codex gradually weaned off the idea of ever serving that pretty boy). I love Nurgle the very torment his victims go through on the battlefield as they agonize over how to fight his forces and thent he actual agony as they writhe with all manner of diseases and afflictions just gets me going.
A small update but if anyone is interested I am now a proud Nurgle worshipper, now back to the lexicanum I must read more!
Like seriously how beautiful does this sound?! Speaks to me on multiple levels, when I hear people saying for the greater good! Or saving human lives as if such a thing mattered I do not discriminate between the life of a bacteria or that of a human.
Quote: Nurgle is the Great Lord of Decay and the Master of Plague and Pestilence. All things, no matter how solid and permanent they seem, are liable to eventual corruption and death. Even the process of creation is but the precursor to destruction and decay. The bastion of today is tomorrow's ruin, the maiden of the morning is the crone of the night, and the hope of a moment is but the foundation of regret. Though he is the creator of every infection and epidemic to have ever swept the universe, Nurgle is not a morose purveyor of despair and gloom, but a vibrant god of life and laughter. In death, there is life. Upon the decay of the living untold numbers of bacteria, viruses, insects and other carrion-feeders thrive. All life feeds upon other life to exist, and from every plague grows new generations, stronger and more virile than those who came before. Regeneration comes from decay, just as hope springs from despair. The greatest inspiration comes in the darkest moments; in times of crisis mortals are truly tested and driven to excel.
There is no hope without dispair, there is no bravery without fear! And Nurgle brings the horrors of the warp to drive you to your perfection!

Odd how the Emperors Children didn't join with him right?
Nah I'm kidding Nurgle is absolutely the most "fun" of the pantheon not that that's difficult to achieve with the others being a bloodthirsty maniac, a lunatic hedonist and the guy that nobody sees cause all he does is make brooding plans within plans within plans.
If I remember correctly his brood of demons call and his worshippers call him "Papa" or "Father" too cause he's such a chill dude.
Once you get to the part of the lore where you find out how he tests his diseases he gets significantly less chill though.

Ye Papa nurgle (been trying to get my friends to call me that since yesterday) one of my buddies has been into Age of Sigmar for years and he's postively disgusted ^^.
But yeah testing the potency of your new diseases on Isha then unleashing them on the galaxy sounds like a blast, and he seems like a caring dude (hence the father nurgle). I also like the idea that he entertains guests many of whom are mortals, and how he welcomes prisoners, the dying and the sick as well as relieving the suffering of those afflicted by his diseases.
Binged through all his wiki lore, now I must consult the tomes.
Personally though I believe in his philosophy but at the same time while his methods have merit as they contribute to that, I do notice some slight contradictions or things that have little point. It is an inevitibility that all things die, all things are affected by entrophy thus there's no real need to cultivate it in excess or speed up their spread, all one requires is patience. Not that he goes against this core principle, but the idea of making ever more potent diseases that work faster just has little point, extra slow ever more suffering would be a better alternative.
