The Tower-Dwarves

Hi,there's my idea about a new,dwarven town I would like to see:The Tower.
The tower is a clan of dwarves who worship storms and ice and stone.Banned from the other clans of Grimheim,the stormborn have made friends different creatures of the snow.
The Tower
Also Known As: The Renegade Dwarves, the Stormborn
Associated Colours: White and Blue
Worship: Sylath,Shalassa and Sylanna
Core Philosophy: Stand your ground,for hope dies last.
Capital City: Aryhall,Halls of the Honor
Key Symbols: Golden Hammer,Forked Golden Lightning
Units
Core
Winter Wolf->Dark Ice Wolf


Frostborn(Basic&Upgrade):Unit gets +1 to attack and defence and + 5 to hp when fighting in snow terrain.
Pack Hunter(Basic&Upgrade):Same as Heroes 5
Icy Visage(Upgrade):The creature's attack have 20% chance not to be retaliated and 10% chance to make the enemy move 2 squares behind.

Stone Gargoyle->Obsidian Gargoyle
Appearence:Same as Heroes 3
Abilities
Stone Skin(Basic):The creature has 25% chance of halving the damage dealt by the enemy.
Construct(Basic&Upgrade):The creature is immune to the mind control,healing or resurrection spells,but can be healed/resurrected by repair skills/abilities.
Obsidian Skin(Upgrade):The creature has 50% chance of halving the damage dealt by the enemy.
Enchanted Obsidian(Upgrade):The creature has 75% chance of resisting fire and ice/water spells cast upon him.

Snow Leopard->White Tiger


Abilities:
Wild(Basic):The stack gets +1 attack for every 2 perished soldiers of the stack.
Frostborn(Basic&Upgrade):Unit gets +1 to attack and defence and + 5 to hp when fighting in snow terrain.
Feral(Upgrade):For every 5 enemies killed increases attack by 1.For every 5 soldiers perished(in the stack) increases attack also by 2.
Elite

Huscarl->Thane


Abilities:
Huscarl Shield(Basic):Suffers -20% Damage from arrows.
Stormborn(Basic&Upgrade):Suffer -10% damage from ice,water and lightning based spells but +10% damage by fire spells.
Rune Shield(Upgrade):Suffers -40% Damage from arrows and -10% damage by magic attacks.
Hammer of Fate(Upgrade):There is 40% chance for the thane to deal double damage and 5% chance to destroy the entire stack.

Elder Priest->Ancestral Battlemage


Abilities:
Elder Staff(Basic)nce 4 turns,you can empower the shoot of any shooter(including this one) in the battlefield with a cursing effect for the enemy or you can double the duration and the bonuses of the friendly blessings.  
Runic Caster(Basic&Upgrade):You can empower damaging spells with bonus cursing Effects,at the cost of 5 mana.
Runic Blade(Upgrade):Same effect as Elder Staff,but works for melee attacks too.Also,10% chance for this one to deal double damage.

Zephyr Roc->Thunderbird


Abilities:
Zephyr Wind(Basic):Attacks also 1 enemy stack max 1 square far the target,dealing 1/4 of the damage,but pushing both stacks back 1 square.
Frostborn(Basic&Upgrade):Unit gets +1 to attack and defence and + 5 to hp when fighting in snow terrain.
Lightning Shield(Upgrade):Same as H3 Efreet Fire shield but deals lightning damage.
Lightning Breath(Upgrade):Attack works as chain lightning for the 2 closest enemies(at max 2 squares far),which respectivelly get 1/2 and 1/3 of damage dealt to the target.

Champion

White Walker->Crystal Walker


Abilities:
Crystal Sword(Basic):The attack of the creature deals bonus damage to all non-magical creatures(including elves,dwarves,orcs,dark elves and naga).
Ice Demons(Basic&Upgrade):The creatures are immune to Ice/Water and Darkness based spells but are weak to Fire/Lava and Light based ones.
Icy Visage(Basic&Upgrade):The creature's attack have 20% chance not to be retaliated and 10% chance to make the enemy move 2 squares behind.
Frostborn(Basic&Upgrade):Unit gets +1 to attack and defence and + 5 to hp when fighting in snow terrain.
Deep Freeze Attack(Upgrade):45% Chance that the attack deals the same effect as H5 Deep Freeze spell.
Dark Ice Skin(Upgrade)nly 50% of the non-magic damage and 25% of the magic is dealt.Exeption for Light/Fire based damage which deal bonus 10% damage instead.
Hero Classes
Might Hero:Stone Lord
   * Neutral Ability: Defence Master
     The defense of each of hero creatures is increased by 1 for every 2 hero levels

Thunder Thane(Tears)
   * Advanced Ability: Word of the Thane
     Morale and Luck are increased for the entire enemy army.

   * Ultimate Ability: Aura of Storms
     All tower units in hero's army deal half damage as physical,and half damage as lightning-based magical.

Ice Artisan(Blood)
   * Advanced Ability: Ice Shields
     Units in the army get + 5 defense when suffering physical or magic ice based attacks.
   * Ultimate Ability: Ice Golem
     Once per battle,the hero can summon a powerful ice golem boss in the battlefield.


Magic Hero:Rune Crafter
   * Neutral Ability: Stormborn Runes
     Pretty much like the Heroes 5 Empowered Spells skills,but works only for the Ice based,Water Based,Air based and Lightning based Spells.

Storm Master(Tears)
   * Advanced Ability: Lightning Shield
     Target 1 stack to give him lightning shield,which works as Heroes 3 Fire shield,but deals 50 lightning damage and + 10 for each hero level after level 3.
   * Ultimate Ability: Aura of Storms
     All tower units in hero's army deal half damage as physical,and half damage as lightning-based magical.

Crystal Walker(Blood)
   * Advanced Ability: Chilling Halo
     Damage, Defense, Morale and Luck are decreased for the entire enemy army. This effect cannot be dispelled.
   * Ultimate Ability: Wight Lord
     Once per battle,the hero can sacrifice his remaining mana to raise an entire dead stack as wights.Wights cannot be banished or destroyed like other summoned creatures.After battle,they can join the hero's army.

Unique Creatures:
Ice Golem

Abilities:
Ice-Made:Invulnerable to Ice and Water attacks but vulnerable to Fire attacks.
Magical Construct:The creature is immune to the mind control or resurrection,but can be healed by spells or by repair abilities/skills.

Wight

EDIT:Has deep blue eyes.
Abilities:
Wight-vulnerability:Vulnerable only by fire and light attacks or magical damage(exept for ice and dark).
Icy Visage:The creature's attack have 20% chance not to be retaliated and 10% chance to make the enemy move 2 squares behind.

You know, I've never understood such arguments in relation to dwarves, because if any race in which self-reliance is traditionally the norm it's the dwarves. Of course you could call introducing differences being original, but it's not really, I mean you're still going with a nordic look, which is just about as cliché an identity as being loners.

I really do not like the animal creatures.

There are thousands of mythological creatures that are much more interesting than bears, wolves and lepards. >.>

I also think there are two many animals,especially the fact,that the wolf and the leopard are both not that different and in the same tier group,the same goes for those dwarves,you should turn one of them into a core unit.

I also think,that those undead(or at least undead looking) creatures don't really fit with the faction.
I would suggest to use a giant as champion creature,because giants are also from norse mythology.
If a normal giant isn't spectacular enough for you,you could use the fire giants or the jötunn(ice giants) from norse mythology.

I also think,that rocs would fit with this faction,as rocs are also sometimes assimilated with the arctic and it would give the faction a flying unit.

Maybe the Jotun upgrade can be the Ettin?
Similar names, similar concepts, (more heads?).

I also think the Swizz Barbegazi is a fairly underappreciated creature.

Move Dwaves to Core, make Bear Riders and add Valkyries and Trolls is my suggestion.
