Quote: When I first read it six years ago, I thought it was the worst book in the series because it had less action than all the others.
Less action than Dune Messiah? A laughable claim! Dune Messiah can basically be summarized in three points:
- the conspiracy movement conspiring
- Muad'dib agonizing over the tragedy of prescience
- Bijaz being awesome
God Emperor of Dune is a Stallone movie compared to that
EDIT: As for Heretics of Dune, I hated that too, although I guess for completely different reasons. I like to pretend that the series ends with God Emperor.

Cherubion saga - Night trilogy...
Really interesting books, way better than the following Dawn trilogy.
And other good books that I've read:
Roadside picknik (Stalker)
Hard to be a God
Dune-series...
I like fantasy and sci-fi the most

So currently had to restart Doctor Zhivago, because I had forgotten to keep a list of characters (AS YOU MUST ALWAYS DO IN RUSSIAN REALIST NOVELS) and forgot what was going on around page 80.

Don´t be shy. Tell what books you read and something you like/hate about them etc.
Hello there. It's very interesting book that will explode your mind.
It's book calls - The Crucible by Arthur Miller. Short summary - The play is a fictionalized version of the trials and tells the story of a group of young Salem women who falsely accuse other villagers of witchcraft. The accusations and ensuing trials push the village into a hysteria that results in the arrest of two hundred villagers and the deaths of nineteen.
Yes, you can watch the film - The Crucible. But read this article - Here And you will understand that is not worth it. Better is book.

Ok I haven't found other thread.. I remember some thread, but wasn't found.. So soon I will read The Visual Dictionary of Sex.. I've a several sex books.. Those are dictionary, lightning, information, also education. Not hard-core.. Useless for me! I also give growing amounts from year to year for SWB.. A good job, when usually those disappear! An example toheroes no longer.. Then over thousand words, I will start a SWB..
Other books I like evolution, esp. C. Darwin.., etc also nature and geography.. Now no more.. If you talk about books, I will tell more books..

If you want to look at forbidden books don't miss "Voyage au bout de la nuit" from Ferdinand Céline, the best fiction book I've ever read.
