Did anyone manage to capture all haven towns? I noticed the one near the giant tree was immensely powerful, so I thought I'd wait it out. But the top right one had over 250 griffins when I got there...
Then again, I like to explore and stuff, maybe I need to RUSH NOW, THINK LATER!

And why is it now when you play multiplayer (but only one human player) that at start of every turn, screen goes black and it says "XXX player turn" - right, I figured that out, as I'm the only one playing.

Alcibiades, this is how it was even in H5. Multiplayer always does the screen-hide and player-announcement - it does that in actual multiplayer, but when the multiplayer is actually one player, it doesn't change, because it either can't tell or doesn't want to.

Yes, you have to be fast. The fort is keeping an Elite Dwelling, the 4th and 5th cities have Griffins dwellings and the 4th city has a Glory dwelling and the AI benefits from the same crazy growth.


Some bugs I found :
- "Pressed Attack" is removing "Storm Arrows"
- Sandor can equip the Griffin Sword
- If you equip the Griffin Sword and swap it for the Wolf Sword, you benefit from the buffs of both swords
- The "Wolf Heart" buff (immunity to harmful mind influence) makes your units immune to your own "Heroism".


EDIT : Another "bug".
When you finish a map, the ranking lists you under your Windows user name instead of your "Dynasty" name.

Don't know if these are bugs or not :

- Now when you capture an enemy town, the mines belonging to that color don't automatically convert to your color, you have to flag them.
- You cannot upgrade troops anymore in a town where the upgrade is not built even if there is an upgrade in another town that you own. It was possible before but it's more logic now so ...
- Some fights, the graphics become crazy, don't see anything , we can only see partially the units in the field.
- In multiplayer with dynasty bonuses on, you can equip all heroes with the corresponding dynasty weapon, of course you can also sell some of these .
- Upgrading fire magic you can see the effect on fire bolt spell but upgrading other types of magic you don't see anything in tooltip, damage (air) or heal (light) for ex.

This happened also before the patch. For some reason creature textures were invisible or transparent and only effects (fire, ice and so on) attached to creatures and creature shadown were visible and "floating" where the actual creature should be. This made me think not the model itself but its textures are missing.

I like the new main menu a lot better.  It's easier to navigate, even if some parts of it are still confusing.

Why can't I play a Skirmish?  It looks like Multiplayer is the only non-Campaign option.

I noticed that the sound bug was only happening when you had more than 1 hero and when at least 2 heroes were on different terrains.

- It started on Sandro's map when I went undergrounds and I had another hero picking up resources on the surface.
- It never happened on Slava's first prologue (Griffin Bane) as you can't recruit another hero
- It happened on Slava's second prologue map as soon as I built the tavern and recruited a hero for the quest (Slava was in the swamps).

Sanctuary hero War Master's advance ability "Prepare for strike" is bugged. You do less dmg the more you walk instead of more dmg the more you walk

I would have loved if they included 1v1 skirmish map instead of Stronghold scenario map.

It would be much more useful as beta material.

The stronghold map itself was rather nice, but I'm afraid the maps will get repetitive with the Zones of Control mechanic. Seems to be game of attrition at most times.

I see, it's a bit questionable if this just isn't a bug but you can play skirmish when you set up a hot-seat game with only one human player, then close the window and, tada, you can click the skirmish button.
It's pretty much the same like multi just with the difference that there is just one human player playable and that the messages wich's turn it is should also be gone.

Btw, what's that f*cking synronizing savegames, it's there again and it needs longer than before.
EDIT what sound bug? Do you mean that the music just stops at some point and you need to restart the exe?

Some abilities I have tested =)

Haven - Paladin
Advanced Ability: Martyr - Seems to be bugged
Ultimate Ability: Divine Jutice - Quite good. Like in H5 but max 3000 dmg. One time per battle

Necropolis - Death Knight
Advanced Ability: Vampiric Embrace. Good passive ability even if it's just a small % , which can get higher but not sure what makes it higher.
Ultimate Ability: Dooom. Amazing ability. Enemy unit vanishes quickly from battle. One time per battle

Sanctuary - War Master
Advanced Ability: Prepare for Strike - Itīs a very small bonus starting with 1% but can go higher depending on your hero, not sure what makes it higher.
Ultimate Ability: Twin Fangs. (hits twice for one round) )Can use every turn. Good on higher stacks only.

Kappa's leap is still bugged ( not sure about Kappa Shoya) I will test other creatures abilities to see if they are bugged.
Units seems to be able to walk through obstacles now. Is anyone else testing the heroes abilites? It's a lot of work so I won't do all of them =/

More bugs :

- Shooters' animations speed are still not linked to the general animation speed. Succubus, Goblins, Liches, Dreamwalkers and Magic Heroes have a hell of a slow animation when casting and their projectiles are even slower
- Please, please, please, could they include the Might hero Heroic Strike into the "Combat Camera" ? I'm getting bored of seeing that useless cinematic every 3 turns ...
- The Advanced Classes conversion animations have disappeared. Not that I miss them but I wanted to make a collection of all the scenes and they're not available anymore

Last I attacked them they seemed kind of alright. Griffins are certainly better, dive before 1.2 did pathetic dmg.
