But I thought H3 was the first game to introduce minibios for the heroes? I haven't managed to find find anything from H1-2.

Luna was an Enrothien Sourceres, Originaly under the court of Lady Lamanda and later as an Ally of Roland. She had a close connection to the elementals, so when they had came to aid Roland and Cathrine i there war ageinst the kreegan she herde there call and joined the Conflux.
I'm not enlighted in the H4 story, but it seems that this noble sourceres has been turned into a Vampire at some point.
And About your example of Tribute and Historical Heroes
It is nice that you have showed us all those tha base apone an ancient hero but

Erica, Ciele, Jeddite, Kalindra, Kaspar, Lord Haart, Luna, Maximus, Raelag, Shiva.
It is nice to see old faces, but I woud like to see some new heroes that cach my eyes
And This line up poits out one thing
3 stronghold heroes, only one that is not humam, and he is under the Humon lineup.

Needles to say
The updated hero list looks more promising
There are Actually Nagas as Sanctuary Heroes and a real Orc in stronghold.
Some of the New necromancer do Also look surprisingly good
Especially
But I fear, that these are Campaign Heroes. so no acces for multiplayer
@Capheus: Detail - Water is an element isn't it?

I hope the H6 map editor is like the H5 one in where you could activate the campaign heroes to be available. I just hope though that it actually works better than in H5 because even if you clicked all the heroes, not all of them would become available for some reason.
As for that pic, I think it looks great. She looks just like Ludmilla in the Clash of Heroes game, only less cartoonish.

I don't see how. Why would it be stretching things? It's clearly a reference to the old class. There are more of them in the New Beginning campaign as well.
Aquatic talents were the defining trait of those Sorceresses. Queen Lamanda used them to sink an entire port in H1.

80% of these heroes... I don't recognize their faces. They look like a different person. There's continuity between H1-H4, even H5. Then abrupt change.

I assumed you meant she was the same character because she had trekked from one continent to another with the navigation skill.

Ohh. Sorry  No, I meant it was likely in reference to the hero class she was formerly part of having Navigation (an aquatic talent) by default.

Technically speaking, she isn't a new character, if you played Clash of Heroes on the DS, XBox360 or PS3 you'd see there's a number of familiar faces from that game.
MY favorite Stronghold hero is already the melanic tatood cyclops with an honorary menthion for Xana as my favorite Inferno hero.
I'd like more decayed Necro heroes, more Naga naga heroes and a few more oddballs across all factions, like say... a Harpy or Centaur hero, a Wanizame hero and other such characters, even if it's just their portraits.

If anyone has the time to upload all the bios, I (and I'm sure a lot of other people) would be greatly appreciative. If not, it's not a huge deal, it's not a super long time till the release date and then we can see everything for ourselves.
Is that... is that really a cyclops here? That is awesome!

Sadly I did not, but I would love to. But I do not have a DS,Xbox or PS3 and a PC version is nowhere to be seen 
Can I have a question about the portraits?
In the link that Avirosb gave us are 98 portraits
5 of these pictures are just 2 different forms for I character
That gives us a total of 93 Heroes
Are these all heroes there are in the game? how many of them can we get actually acces to?
Will they have all unique abilities? or how common will it be that 2 or more heroes share the same ability?
And how many heroes are actually tributes and how many are new?
Also it would be nice to distinguesh 3DO and Ubisoft era heroes in this case.

The ones I posted on the last page could be considered tributes, or at least new takes on old heroes.
My guess is that only campaign heroes will have unique abilities. The rest will have variations of existing ones.
