omg Azagal has such an attractive and well-toned face, though I have to say he's much older looking than I thought 
I don't know why you had to blot out Angelito's face. There's no need for him to be shy.
Keksi looks like an Elven rogue, just like I thought he would. And I want to touch Joonas's hair.

Actually I'm alive and comfortably settled in in my home. The ferry arrived this morning at 7am +2GMT.
It was a fun trip overall. Perhaps I shall tell my side of the story at some point.

I can get back to updating stuff tomorrow once I have returned home. Eitherway I will not let this thread rest until Joonas and Keksimaton have written atleast SOMETHING about this most epic of journeys!

Dammit. I know I have seen you in a dream but I cannot remember what your face looked like. AND I HAVE BEEN DENIED AGAIN! One day, one day..
Is it me or does keksi look a little uncomfortable staring at the camera?  I know I hate it, I struggle to keep a smile when they are targetting me with that vile creation - I WON'T LET IT DEVOUR MY SOUL! Either way random photos when you aren't looking are the best, capturing the moment

To put this to rest, I shall tell you some of my experiences of the trip.
I might as well tell you how I became aware of such a trip being planned. One day this spring 2011 I was chatting on messenger with none other than our beloved DagothGares. I think I was in weird places that night due to me having had quite a gulp of Cognaq and my body not used to the alchohol was under some quite strange effects. "Did you know that there's a place called Saint Petersburg in Florida? We could totally go on a roadtrip from Saint Petersburg to Saint Petersburg! We'd be like Ewan McGregor and Ewan McGregor's buddy in The Long Way Round, but with less petroleum in our eyes!" I type, shakily onto the little chat box only to be replied by some reference to Russian history about a guy who conquered Siberia or something when the fateful lines hit the screen: "By the way I'm going on a trip through Europe with Joonas and Azagal this summer." The gears turn in my head. I'd like to shout "I'M COMING TOO!" but you can't really shout through the internet. I decided to be more discrete; I'd rather be invited than butt in. So I type: "Okay, that's cool," and never mention it again.
Untill of course I call up Joonas on messenger and ask him: "I heard you're going on a trip with Dagoth and Azagal. Can I come with you?" And he answers yes and asks me if I'm legally an adult and stuff; Which I totally am.
On July, 1st 2011, Joonas arrives at my humble home to stay the night before leaving to Helsinki to catch a ferry to Rostock, Germany. We took a walk in the beautiful suburban Tampere, played a few rounds of Gran Turismo 4 and went to bed; the next few days would be nothing but traveling.
On the 2nd we hopped into the car with our packages and started driving to Helsinki. The car was a Japanese import car from the mid 1990's. It had surprisingly modern luxuries to it such as a navigator and air conditioning, but on the flipside it was loud as heck: It roared and it hissed and that's not even getting into the music Joonas had prepared for the trip. There were anisongs, Finnish novelty rap, The Lion King Broadway show soundtrack along with Britney Spears, Iron Maiden and the Russian duo t.A.T.u with plenty of other stuff mixed in. Joonas had warned me that I'd break, but I was saved by the power of Rock! Daft Punk helped too. Quite honestly, I really liked most of the music.
On the ferry, Super Fast VIII of the Estonian company Tallink, we mostly chilled on deck, played cards in the lounge, enjoyed the live music. There was even an internet connection so of course Joonas would hurry to HC. I was taught how to play Clockface Solitaire. I never won a round.
On the evening of the 3rd, we arrived at Rostock and much to our surprise it was dark outside! During the summer, it doesn't get dark in Finland so we were completely weirded out by the mixture of summer weather and darkness. The proud odours of the old continent would oft waft through the fans to give us that homely scent of manure. We filled up on gas at a gas station and called Azagal. He gave me the impression of a very nice guy; I infact felt bad after speaking to him because I think I forgot to say thanks. Rocking out to Daft Punk we headed for Bonn in the dead of night, but a warning light that was not supposed to be lit started to shine. We stopped at a parking lot and took a look inside the hood of the car to find that belts that turn the thingy in the doohickey that charges the batteries was detached and that the wheel thing rotating them was broken.
After spending the night in the car and imbibing a breakfast constructed of a cashew nut bar and a chocolate flavoured soy drink we headed for the nearest auto shop that could help us: The Subaru joint in Syke. Syke is apparently some sort of a rural town near Bremen, but to us Finns it looked like a city: It had a row of auto shops, a CBD and like a big street with houses on both sides; definitely a city. The attendants at the auto shop were very nice and knew English. They said we could pick up the car the next day, the 5th, at noon. One mechanic tried to have a bit of smalltalk with Joonas asking: "So are you enjoying the high speed roads here in Germany?" Joonas of course being the social genious that he is shot him down saying: "Nah, straight roads are boring." They then directed us to a nearby hotel where we could spend the night.
The hotel itself, seemed a bit off to me when I first saw it. The signs outside were pink saying: Beauty & Wohlfühl Hotel Steimker Hof. It soon turned out that we had been directed to a bath hotel specialized in providing romantic evenings for vacationing couples, and most likely prostitutes and their clients. A very interesting item in their menu was a romantic outdoor bath dinner for two. Of course we just got a room and tried to kill time untill the next day.
We got the car back and drove to Bonn and the rest is pretty much as Dagoth told. The boardgames we played were a lot of fun. Lord of the Rings was a big geek fest and during the Jenga-esque game I propably heard the largest concentration of playful cries of: "**** you," I've yet heard.
It was a really fun trip. Hiking in the mountains was an amazing experience. When you're tired and dehydrated it feels really great to stop and rest.
I think that on the 11th when parting with Azagal and Dagoth, it was said that next time we'd rent a tour bus to fit in everyone.

This is the best and most compact description I've ever seen of Joonas.
If you ever need to sum up Joonas, it's that little conversation, followed by the words: "I don't care." and "Why should I?"
