Recently Witchking had a really nice idea of four piece combination artifact for VCMI Forge. When he asked me about this, I thought that I should model it. So here's first piece: Mask of Fire Folk!

Really nice graphics you got there Hobbit, still, curious how they would look in the H3 scale (2d and Homm3 resolution).
Good job. Altough, I am not certainly sure, but you are not working or co-op with HoTA team, am I right ?

No, I'm doing these artifacts for VCMI Forge. ALTHOUGH if HotA Crew want to use them, I won't mind. 
Ancestor's Pavise! On the left - a look which would be used in game, on the right - "inactive" version, just to present how does it work.

That's cool, I like your attitude and open-minded thinking.
Would love if people co-oped, I mean the teams because there are quite enough of them, not to compete. But on the other hand, who am I to talk/judge ? 
Is that some sort of shield, which when activated makes that orange (force) field ? Or is that a banner and activated to shine and make aura for allies or to strike fear in hearts of enemies ?

This week we'll give you some information about Forge units and proposed balance for them. Today it'll be the very first level - Recruits/Militia. But next time we'll give you something much more interesting... :3
The most basic forces of Forge army. Trained in using heavy shields, recruits fit ideally into defending from the enemy's shooters.

Okay, maybe it'll work now.
EDIT: I have no idea why English version doesn't want to work. But Feanor posted Polish version - Recruits' ability is 20% (40%) resistance to (reducing the damage of) ranged attacks.

It does work for me
PS: resistance means chance to avoid full enemy damage, right? Like dwarf's magic resistance...
