That 'original concept' of yours would still include a Mino in the mix or not? Just curious

No, not mino. It's "something" from early Might and Magic and HoMM games, and not many people seem to realise that such thing even exists...

Hmmm...well, the brain suckers, the Juggernaut and the 'police' are already 'fresh' additions to the lineup, diverging just enough from NWC concept. Replacing the Mino'd be too much in my opinion...

Ofc it's all decision of your team, I'm just saying I love the current, presented lineup

Yes, I'm not 100% sure about changing the original NWC concept. On the other hand - there was no NWC final concept anyway, so we still can improve it this way or another.

But we definitely won't change the unit's purpose. It's still going to be a flying brute.

I know, that's why I'm not against the changes you made.

It wouldn't be bad then. We'll have to wait. Keep us updated!

i think it would be a great idea if you guys pushed out all the creatures each of you had in mind. that way, people could switch out what they want, if they want to diversify from the final layout. just my two cents, as some people will be fond of stuff other people aren't, and other people are probably fond of stuff that the others aren't.

that way, i think there'd be less complaining after the fact, less negative feedback. just my 2 cents.

Sky Knight. We're not 100% sure about implementing him into final game though, I have some other ideas for 6th level unit.

Juggernaut. The whole design is final, that's for sure.

So you are thinking replacing Jump trooper? Sad my favorite unit on current Forge. I hope he gets worthy succesor or if he even gets.

Uhm, I'm new to the forum, so I don't know if I'm already able to give my opinion on this topic, but I'll try.
I haven't read the whole topic of Forge, so I don't know if the monster has disappeared or it is still here,
but some time before, I did read about the original Forge project, and the monsters looked great. But I had one that particularly got my attention.

I think it was an ogre with a rocket launcher, I don't know, and I don't really remember if it was level 3, or 2 (although that would be low).
I was thinking, that for this creature's upgrade, it's rocket would have a Fireball attack, like a Magog's. I mean, like, the Ogre shoots the rocket, and *Boom*.

Area attack, I think that's a proper name.
Again, I don't know if the idea of this creature has been taken down, but still, I'm just giving my opinion about this.
Hope I can see Forge finished, indeed I love the idea and concepts.

Hi Negas5, I think you're talking about this:
Hobbit said:
Cannoneers and Bombardiers - 5th level of Forge line up.

While Goblins in Kastore's army aren't one of disciplined forces, Ogres equipped with mystical ordnance made before Silence are the real elite of Forge forces. Cannoneers and heavier armed Bombardiers, although not equipped with lots of ammo to their weapons, are still dangerous during the fight, especially for those bigger beasts like Dragons and Behemoths.

But I think they would be a hell of OP with AoE attack lol

Hello, Storm-Giant. n_n

Well, I should say 'Oh god', I didn't even know they had Slayer ability, nor they were Lv. 5.
Well, I don't know if the AoE should be applied, I was just thinking it would go more with their attacks. (Rocket Launchers )
And, indeed, their Attack Skills are great. But, growth is 3? Being Lv. 5?
I think that's a bit low, unless it's their base growth. If it is, I retract what I said.

One thing to notice, we are talking about the Forge town made by Hobbit team (Polish Forge?). It differs in some ways from NWC concept.

Right, that'd make sense. But as I said, the creature it's already good enough ^^

It's the normal growth for a lvl 5 creature.

i gotta ask... why are the sky knight's blades so thick? when i first saw the battle def, i thought somebody messed up wolverine's claws in the 3d stage. but now upon seeing the picture, it's not the case. is he in charge of splitting logs with those things when he's not fighting?

Yeah, I remembered that a few seconds ago, thanks anyway. xD

I think the blades are thick, because it's a 3D object. Maybe later they could give them 3D sharpness. c:

they really do look that way. they look like wedges of steel(in the pic), rather than anything sharp. in the battle def, they actually look like the blades are squared off, like the blade side isn't even a blade, but more of a long cube shape, which points at one end. i thought it was just a problem with the 3d setup, like maybe 3 blades were too thin, and the pic wrapped around one solid piece, instead of multiple blades. now that i know it's only one blade coming out of their sheaths, it's really too thick.

but that's just my opinion. maybe someone else sees something sharp. what i see is a shape that would be a blade/blades if it was much more thin. i thought it was a technical error in 3d.

BTW, guys, what do you think of naming Forge might hero class Renegade? General is a bit too, well, general - you can name any hero a general in such sense. We're not sure about Renegade too though.

The whole class is focused on battle and anti-magic (max Resistance, no Wisdom, high Offence, Armorer, Tactics...), and main races (apart from human) will be goblin and, most probably, magog.

Well I think Renegade is better than General after all heroes are like generals leading armies.
