I think that the wolf dwelling should be tweaked a bit... I find it to be more brighter than the town screen.

Thanks,I'm glad you like my town.And yes it will be Era 2 only,so you can chose to play Romanian town or Rampart whenever you want.I still want to do more new things for the version 2.0 so it won't be downloadable too soon.

You could entitle the town as Transylvania and define the creatures in it as not alive, but not dead either. Necropolis could be viewed as a reanimated faction, everything is dead there, just moving for some reason

Btw I LOVE the concept art, but I find the red-blue crystal combination in the town view a bit curious - seems to be way out of proportion in relation to the whole picture.

I also like the unupgraded lvl 7 unit more than the upgraded one - that purple dragon looks so cool ^^

EDIT: I think I caught a glimpse of the level 5 unit, a 20 HP increase on the upgraded version, that is, in my opinion, kind of too much, or perhaps increase the base hp of the unupgraded lvl 5. I believe it is 35 -> 55 in HP, that does seem to be overpowered, arguably.

A lot of people proposed the same thing, but Romania isn't only Transylvania and I believe one fully undead/death-based town is enough. My country's mythology isn't totally composed from undead, but also from various mythical creatures I want to show that Romania has other awesome things besides Dracula.

I know it looks a bit weird, but it makes logic since the resource silo gives you crystals. I always considered that the lumber cart is a bit senseless, since it also gives crystals.

I'm still working at graphics, so I didn't had time to search for balance issues. Thanks for spotting this one, I'll surely fix it.

the townscreen looks great, man. i have one comment, tho. i see you re-contrasted the town objects, but contrasting tends to make the light parts of the object brighter. you should counteract this by decreasing the lightness of the object. then re-increase the contrast as necessary(you may only need to re-contrast at a +3 or +5). this will leave your objects looking much more "blended" with your background, and more natural-looking. that way your objects will not "pop" from the background. just my 2 cents.

(edit: if you were to decrease the lightness of those objects, i wouldn't see the need to re-contrast them. i think they would look fine after a little adjustment)

1- What does the new creatures replace?
2-Rampart is one of the ace towns, I think replacing some other town would be better, maybe even Necropolis since you have stuff like werewolves and vampires. Actually I agree 100 percent with HoL on this. Mixing the dead and the undead is a bad idea for many reasons. Instead of vampires, the town can have vampire hunters. Your dedication to the actual folklore makes you want to keep the vampires but it will mess up morale balance, it will be the repitition of a creature, using him twice and having vampire hunters with special powers against necro vampires can be very balancing.

Don't  like it - don't play it.
If you don't want to replace Rampart, convert it to external mod for VCMI and replace all you want.
This is author's vision of this town. You can mod it.
PS "Dead and undead" - what did you mean? If living and undead creatures are from one faction, morale don't fall (look for Forge).

And this VCMI obsession of yours is becoming frustrating. VCMI is not playable as of now and is not ERM and wog compatible. Era 2 is. End of story.
