HoMM2 maps... Lost in web
Sometime ago I was playing H3WoG versions of maps for H2 and I'd really like to play H2 versions now... But i can't find them anywhere. I found plenty of topics about them (some even from 2002) but there are no links. I'm talking about maps "Last Hope", "T.H.U.N.K" and others (it was actually the campaign not just single maps).

You can find them on the Celestial Heavens website. Unfortunately I can't link to them right now, as that site is blocked from this computer. There's a link for "H2 Maps" somewhere on the sidebar and you can download them from there.
If you have trouble, send me an HCM and I can email them to you directly.

Yeees! I've got it  At last! It's really well hidden I must admit. If You wouldn't tell me about it (there's also "Game selector on the left if someone is interested- choose Heroes 2 and then "H2 maps" will appear). Thanks for Your help 
Instant edit: Maps are splited both in "Succession Wars" and "Price of Loyalty" map sections.

Yes, I had a very hard time finding it as well - got there through a google search actually. 
Hope you enjoy the maps. Maybe one day the finished H3 versions will be made available.

You could have found H2 maps a bit easier.
A subforum here called "MapHaven Guild" is the place to go.
A stickied thread called "The New Archives" will help a lot to find maps for H1, H2 and H3 --> Map archives

Well... I probably could but I was looking for this maps for around... Half a year? Google wasn't helpful at all. Forum search either- it shown topics about WoG maps, so I didn't supposed to find answer there. But I'll remember about it, I promise

Does anyone have H2 maps remade for H3? I know I played some - definitely Broken Alliance was one of them.
What I would absolutely love if there was an XL Dragon wars map, please!!!?

The big amount of H1-H2 maps is converted to H3 format in The Succession Wars Mod, including Dragon Wars. However, you will not be able to play them in vanilla H3.
As for the maps which have been converted by various people for vanilla H3, I can offer you my collection.

Thank Orzie I'll check those out.
But still my favorite map of H2 was Dragon wars and I'm much too lazy to remake myself, so hopefully I will find one ready someday...

I can send you the terrain file for it (h3m). You will need only to place all adventure map objects. The version from The Succession Wars Mod won't help you much because you will spend even more time deleting objects which are out of place.
