Wow Great Stuff
And I don't mind. In fact I encourage everyone to make their own ideal units based on the outline.
Few questions and comments:
-I luv the High Elf idea. Maybe I should include that in my next line-up... same with Drow Elf.
-Naga in order? And Genie? As much as NWC has both in the order town, I personally don't think their actual mythological roles fit order.
-Valkyrie in Stronghold? But why? They're the servants of Odin, King of Valhalla, and the angel equivalent that takes honourable dead heroes to happiness!
-Ur Preserve idea sounds great.
-ur Life idea's good... but I'd rather have the "humans" in the order side. In the Middle Ages, laws were strictly followed and during war, their attack formations were usually in straight lines. So humans fit the Order theme more than Life... or at least, that's IMO.
-I read ur Kelpie thing, and I think it's a great idea to include it in the water town. I gottan consider that next.
-what's a Yark?
-What's an Anacaris and a Mantray?
-Woah! I forgot about Ghouls and Banshees! As for Death Knights, I didn't bother including them... I mean, what's the point in including them if I didn't include the Champions in the first place?
Xenophanes- Maybe in the NWC world, Strongholds hold no magic. But Barbarians in LoM were able to use Chaos Magic. Their mages were the Shamans who could use Bloodlust and Polymorph... interesting and fitting spells for the chaos theme, don't ya think?
- I included Dragons in the chaos town because I perceive of them as chaotic. And an Ogre ruling Dragons shouldn't come as a surprise... unless u haven't played Warcraft yet.
wishmaster- Hmmm... maybe I should reconsider changing the Djinns to Kelpies.

Just a Side Note
Man, Canada did pretty well in the Olympics! I'm so proud of my country! Can u believe we won both golds in the male and female hockey tournaments?
I'm so happy and I'm really "Lighting My Fire Within"! Well we placed fourth overall, and that's sooo good. Of course, u Americans probably have bigger bragging rights, but c'mon, u guys do well in both the Summer and Winter Olympics! This shouldn't come as a surprise to u! But for us, WOW, this is a major accomplishment. This definitely inspires a lot of us to go to the Olympics! My little brother is so excited, he wants to be a professional hockey player!

But odin was an evil god(Like all gods) and all creatures he summoned were savage and Neutrall that's why I putted this man haters in stronghold.)

-what's a Yark?A yark is a Hammershark/Tigershark on legs. The Triton king was so angry on people! He gave the most fearsome predators of the sea legs! The sharks get legs and now hunt the people on land! A nightmare comes to! PS: they look like werewolves only then with shark instead of Wolf. They are mixe of shark and human. Look at my Expansion Pack proposal thread 2 (you can find that in my profile)theres a picture of that sharkthing the Hammershark version
-What's an Anacaris and a Mantray?Anacaris is nothing more then a gigantic Scorpion/Mantray are giant sting Rays that swim in sand/deserts instead of in the sea/ocean. They are bigger then mantas and also eat human flesh. They can shoot with their dangerous poison tails, They shoot lightning with it.
Mantrays apeared in the hercules series and also in a game called quest for glory 1 I liked them very much! I sure you will like them to when you see them! They are sometimes are called Sand Sharks or sand rays

Yeah, I think it would be better...and I think u should have some netrual creatures in u´r list like magic elemantal, and perhaps some creatures that can be summoned like phantoms...

-Well maybe the Order fitting the magical theme is more on NWC's point of view. But when u think about it... Order is Law. It should associate creatures that are very loyal and "posturized". They're very conventional and despises what is chaotic. That's why I included the humans in that town cuz humans mostly fit that description. My older brother is like a DUNGEONS and DRAGONS fanatic! He plays everything from the Capcom Arcade game to the paper and pencil games! He said some creatures that would fit well in the Order theme (besides humans) are Dwarves, Wolves, and Genies. Dwarves and wolves abide by the rules created within their tribe and always stay loyal to it, while Genies ALWAYS has to follow the 'wisher's' desires. So basically any creature that has a lawful mythological characteristic is well-suited for Order... that's why I disagree with the whole 'creatures of magic' in order.
-not all gods were evil. Of course they could be conniving and manipulative (like Roman Mythological Gods), since they do hold a LOT of power, but I don't think it's safe to say that they're ALL evil. Like the "God of Abraham" in Catholic beliefs. But u're right, Odin was treacherous since he killed most of his "Giant" ancestors... and sent the remaining ones to Mussphelheim (I think). But all he wanted was power, and now that the authority was gone, and he became the Ruler of the Aesirs, I think his creation of the Valkyries "proved" that he wasn't exactly a truly evil god. That and other creations such as the creation of Freyja, Bragi, and Balder. He honoured love and goodness, that's why he sent the Valkyries to collect the souls of honourable heroes that died in battle to Valhalla (Norse version of Heaven). SO in that sense, he wasn't really a total man-hater... not to mention Valkyries. In any case, I'd still stick Valkyries in the life section, or perhaps even Order.
-As for Mantrays and Banshees, I'd definitely consider that on my next line-up. I included Phantoms in my previous line-up (yes I know, I have nothing else better to do, LOL) but I guess I should include them this time... In which city though? In Master of Magic, they were water creatures, illusionized through the reflection of water. But some people perceive them as sorta undead.

Maybe valkyries are good. But I love to see them neutrall. And the real story about them is a bit boring. Then they aren't able to fight! LOL! I think valkyries are the perfect womans of war! With the dryad they are the best females out there! Ow.. don't forgot the silver dragons ofcourse who make cool female dragons for life magic)
I will try to creature other towns aswel. But I hate to insert the heroes and the magic classes. I'm mostly only for putting the creatures in. The magic always get me in trouble! Like I have:
Stronghold/Preserve/Academy/haven/Necropolis and Asylum.
My ADDon towns are Abyss(Dark Preserve)/Atlantis(Ocean)/Foretress(Swamp)/Inferno(Demons) and maybe an Ice based Aurora town. Also every thing has 4 levels with 3 choises of creatures(because I can't put many creatures when only put 2 in each level.) LOL I have way to many I WANT to use.
It's been a long time since I sent Marathea(From 3DO) an email. I think I make this towns and then sent them again. YOu never know! She also took my mantis and Magic Mirror. So what's next?  I HOPE THE BANSHEE! but that's impossible with the stupid female ghost already in.
And it's cool to see a girl making towns and ideas

Well, I guess they added the ghost in the line-up cuz maybe they were tired of it always appearing in every HOMM as a neutral character (except III... I think). I think they wanted to include it in the undead town after all its 'neutral appearances'.
And thanx for the "girl" statement. I was brought up as a leader... as a result i like war games with creative mythological units. However, I'm not much into the fantasy books (such as the Dragonlance series) or the fantasy movies (such as Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter). Don't ask me why.

Just a reply to all this craziness.
First off I would like to say, nice job on the list midler, couldn't have done a better job myself. Second off yes, the Canadians did an exellent job at the olympics. Being from Michigan and a real big Red Wings fan I had to laugh at how on just about every team there was at least one Red Wing player. I was disapointed to see us lose in hockey though. Next I would like to say, anyone actually willing to put George W. Bush in a game is crazy.

Hmm... I sent an e-mail regarding my idea like a few weeks ago... and I received a reply stating:
"Thank u for ur ideas, we will present them to the design team."
Hmm... that simple? O well, if they at least consider SOME of my ideas then I'd be happy. I have a new line-up, but then I'd feel guilty if I sent them another one. For one thing, it's very inconvenient for them to receive more letters. Another thing is it wouldn't be fair for anyone else who wants to send them mail.
