Possbile Line-Up for Expansions

Lets have a look on factions that may appear in Heroes 6 expansions

According to timeline, tips from developers and various factors those factions are

ACADEMY

DUNGEON

SYLVAN


The aim of this thread is to predict the possible line-up for those factions in Heroes 6

NOT what you personally would like to see but what most probably we will get!

You are welcome to express your ideas and thoughts


But don’t forget about some tendencies that Heroes6 factions have

Which are
AT LEAST – 2 NEW units per faction
AT LEAST – 2 Female units (I know its weird, but still)
AT LEAST – 2 Large creatures (one of them is Champion tier)
AT LEAST – 1 Flying creature (or with teleport ability)
AT LEAST – 1 Large ELITE creature
AT LEAST – 2 Melee units
A MUST of Ranged CORE unit
A MUST of Melee CORE unit
And don’t forget about balance!

I will start my analysis from Heroes5 line-ups



ACADEMY




lets have a look on their previous line up

will start with


Gremlin


with a new Tier system I think Gremlins have no chance of making it to Heroes6, they are just too weak and boring.
Unless there will be no other Ranged Core unit to replace them with.
BUT I personally do not believe in it! So sorry Gremlin! Your time is gone!


Gargoyle


what is this creature even doing here??? I mean look at it! It’s just hilarious!
How the scary Gargoyle from previous HoMM games turn into THAT?
Gargoyles wont be in the future line up for Academy!
They should be in the game but either neutral or with let’s say Dungeon


Golem


Now we talking! Golem is an absolute MUST for an Academy faction!
It’s just impossible to imagine Mages without their primary battle units!
Been there since HoMM2 Golems truly deserve to be in the future line up!



Mage


Mages without Mages! Sounds like nonsense doesn’t it?  
But I wouldn’t be THAT sure as I am with Golems though. Why?
Cuz there is always a possibility that Mages will turn into Hero unit for Academy.
But most likely we WILL see mages, I’d say as a Core Ranged unit!


Djinn


And here comes the Elite tier!
Large creature – check
Flyer (teleporter) – check
“Cool” enough to be elite – check
Iconic for Academy – check
Result – 100% match!


Rakshasa


Another Elite creature for Heroes6 Academy
Will look quite similar to this



And no its not only this image that convinced me
also the fact that Rakshasa is a unique creature for Ashan universe
Dev’s won’t just ditch it so easily! Rakshasa will make it for Heroes6, be certain about it!



Titaaaaaaaan!


The true Champion of Academy!
Mighty TITAN!
One of the most beloved units from all HoMM creatures throughout its history!
There is absolutely NO WAY Academy wont have Titans as their champions!
I am ready to put money on that! No seriously..!





So lets have a look what we have.. (Requirements met are written in brackets)

Comments:
I am 100% sure in 4 units – Titan / Rakshasa / Djinn / Golem
About Mages very likely but not so certain
Also I hope they wont keep Basic Rakshasa as a female and upgrade as male , that’s very silly IMHO
So what about NEW units
I m just gonna make a wild guess that
CORE will be sort of support unit
And ELITE will be teleporter
Also they both are going to be Female unless Mages or Djinns are turned into females..





Lets move on to

DUNGEON



that’s a much harder one

Scout


Like it or not Dungeon belongs now to Dark Elves, so Scouts are going to make it for Heroes6 line-up!
Core Ranged unit, most probably will be Female..


Blood Maiden


I personally am extremely happy that Harpies made it for Heroes6, so we can finally forget about this “Replacement” called Blood Maiden! Glad that we wont see them again!


Minotaur!


Hell yeah !!! Minotaurs!!! Heritage of Heroes of Might and Magic!
Having Minotaur is a MUST for a Dungeon Faction, with or without Dark Elves, doesn’t matter!
But please remove those God damned muzzles from Minotaurs!


Dark Raider


Dinosaurs became extinct! I see no reason why shouldn’t the same happen to Dark Raiders!


Hydra


Hmmmmm.. Doubts doubts doubts…
Yes Hydra is iconic, and yes it has been there since Heroes1..
But still , does it really fit into DarkElf-Faceless-Shadow dungeon???...
….Questionable!
Well at least I know Hydra will be in a game, but whether with Dungeon or as a Neutral?? That’s the question!!!


Shadow Witch


I personally don’t like them a lot, but I am 100% we WILL see them (or in other form of Female Dark Elf unit) in Heroes 6!
In a matriarch society of Dark Elves, should be an Elite Female Dark elf unit!!!
You may ask -Why not a Champion then???
Because a Champion tier belongs to the one and only…


Black Dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!


YES! YES! YES! The Black Dragon!!!!!
I wouldn’t even comment on this one!!!
Seriously isn’t that obvious???




There is another unit that catch my attention..

Shadow elemental


With analogies to Haven having Glories (light elemental) as elite creature
Dungeon can have Shadow Elementals as their Elite force!



So summing up..

DUNGEON HEROES-6

CORE

Scout (ranged) (female)

Comments:
I am 100% sure only in one unit which is Black Dragon
As for Minotaur not really sure about tier! Will give them some credit as an Elite, but could be Core as well
Very likely to have Scouts as a Core shooters
And Female Dark Elf as an elite, maybe will be Shadow Witch, or another Dark Elf matriarch, that’s up to Dev’s imagination!
As for the New units it entirely depends which tier will be given to Minotaur
If Minotaur is Elite, then one of New units MUST be a melee unit, maybe a Dark Elf with a Sword or something completely different, I don’t know
If Minotaur is Core, then I would expect some WOW OMG creature, scary and big!!!
Anyways as I told before, Dungeon is very hard to predict because of new dark elf concept, and failure in Heroes5..
P.S> as for Hydras they should be neutral.. maybe even Boss.. just maybe




And the last but not the least..

SYLVAN




Pixie


A bit weak creature, but considering its ability to fly I think Pixies will be included to Heroes6 line up


Blade Dancer


This horrible unit was created by Nival for Heroes5.
The good thing is that Black Hole wont repeat the same mistakes and will erase Blade Dancers for HoMM universe! Thank you in advance for that!!!


Hunter


The most iconic and notable Elf from all the Elves you can imagine in HoMM!
A 100% sure bet! No Hunters = No Sylvan faction! Simple formula!


Druid


Druids most probably will be upgraded to an Sylvan Magic Hero!
So we may not see them again in Sylvan line up.. Sad though.. I like that unit!


Unicorn


Of course there is a chance that Unicorns will share the faith of Nightmares and become a simple mount for a Hero.
But Unicorns have something Nightmares didn’t have.. They have been here for too long (since Heroes1) to just simply accept downgrade to a “horse”..
Even in Heroes5 in spite of letting some Elves ride on their backs, they still had their right to fight alongside with strongest Sylvan creatures.


Treant


No its not an alien (don’t look at the picture, just don’t look at it) It’s a walking tree!
And it can fight!!! Pretty not bad btw!!! And its gonna make its way to the new line up!!!

Green Dragon


Some people like them, some people don’t
I personally do like them, so the harder for me to admit that Green Dragons will be replaced with a New champion creature! But I have a feeling its gonna be something really Cool !

What about the rest???
New Core creature should be Melee, but because of the specifics of sylvan faction, I leave the possibility to have non melee creature. Who knows? Maybe..
New Elite – sure its gonna be a Female , Teleporter with some super cool ability, maybe even shapeshifting!
New Champion – can be anything! Absolutely anything! That’s limited only to dev’s imagination! I am expecting something really super-duper!!!

Gremlins can fit in, why not? What's so different between them and goblins now? They are not quite essential though, that's what I think.

Gargoyles are a must for an Academy faction. They just don't have to look like those of H5. They can make them look cooler and keep that overall 1001 nights feeling about them. Just because they will make a return though, doesn't mean they have to look the same.

Golems, yeah. No Academy without Golems, please. Same for Mages.

Djiins go without saying too. I vote for a better design this time.

Rakshasas got to go. They were my H5 favorite unit though. However one large four-armed bestial shocktrooper is enough per game. Now we got the Kenshis.

Titans. NO! It's unfair for the Academy to keep their Titans, if the rest don't have their dragons. Let's see how creative can they be. Make the Titan a boss, and give us a new Academy champion.


--About Academy I would love to see some beastmen still in their service, not the Rakshasa.--

Scouts/Assassins were awesome. I'd love to see them back to dungeon. Every faction needs a core shooter too, and they can fill that role for Dungeon.

Blood Maidens ought to go. The harpies are back, they're not needed anymore.

No Dungeon without Minotaurs. Kthnxbye.

No more Warhammer duplicate creatures even if its Black Hole making the game now. That means no more Grim Raiders.

Witches were fine, and Dungeon needs its elite casters. I vote for them to return.

Hydras no! Not in the Dungeon at least. What if poor H3 Fortress ever comes back? Who's gonna be its champion?

And well, Black Dragons are hopeless as champion units. They will be bosses though.

Do not bring back Medusas from H3. We got the Coral Maidens now. I've got this fear, that if they do bring them back, they'll be just another duplicate creature. Recolored to look darker and voila!

Troglodytes can make an excellent core unit such as Orcs, Sharkmen, Sentinels, in that kind of fashion. Come on UbiHole, you know we love the Trogs! Wild things!

Beholders, or some kind of freaky abberations with tentacles and eyeballs? No... Seems like Inferno gets these freaks now.

Sprites. I don't know, whatever. Just don't replace them with a single dwarf unit. After Hammers of Fate, that would be beyond stupid.

Blade Dancers, no. Without their Blood Maidens rivals, they don't have a place here anymore either.

No Sylvan without Elven Archers and Unicorns.

Druids? No, I'd rather see them as the Sylvan Magic Hero.

Treants sure, as long as they don't take champion spot after the Green Dragons are promoted to bosses. Better champion please, or at least make them waaaaay too awesome for compensation.

Pegasi Riders! That's what I would like to see back as an elite unit!

What faction symbol would Academy be? It can't be air as you noticed the dragon Ylath having no symbol.....

I am banking on a Sylvan vs Dungeon vibe (the war between elves and dark evles)....

Let's see...

Academy
I mostly agree with Darklord.  I think that if the Dungeon gets a Dragon(not necessarily the blackie-more on that later), the Academy can have their Titan(alternatively, they could have their Giant, making the true Titan a Boss).

The role of the Djinn(probably female this time-won't be the first or even the second time)is especially interesting here. As the faction to go when it comes to magic, the Academy IMHO needs an elite spellcaster. A HOMM4 stye Djinn could fill this niche. If the Djinn is a melee unit with a few tricks though(correct me if I am mistaken but the HOMM5 never felt like a true spellcaster to me-then again I might not have exploited its full potential ), the mage could be elevated to elite status, leaving the ranged position open for a core gremlin unit. Alternatively, the HOMM4 evil sorcerss(hopefuly renamed) might return. Concerning the Rakshasa, I'm with Darklord.

Golems are a must. Gargoyles not necessarily(in half of their history they have not been Academy units, after all).

Oh, and about the mount...Although I liked the elephant, I would love to see them soaring on magic carpets(the magic heroes, at least). One can but hope(yeah, right)!


Academy

I think that most of us agree about defenestrating the Blood Maidens.

The assassins probably will be ranged...but personally I would have liked them as melee Stalkers, leaving the core ranged role to something like the evil eye.

Minotaurs are a sine qua non.

Bringing back the troglodytes would be great, but as long as the minotaur is a core melee unit, I consider them to be redundant. Of course, the minotaurs might be elite this time, solving this problem and giving them much greater status(the elite slave rote could give us a few long awaited minotaure heroes)

I'm good with the Witches remaining.

I can't see both the Hydra and the Dark rider remaining. Not sure which one should go. The Hydra is iconic...but I would love to fight a Hydra Boss. Then againthe Rider gives too much Warhammer vibes.

The Shadow elemental is my favourite one in this game-I wouldn't mind it as elite unit.

The Dungeon needs its dragon-the faction's most iconic unit. Now, we do know that the black or (shadow dragon) is a boss (and we should have a draconic boss)but I still think we can have our dragon. Shadow? Young black? The return of the red as the upgraded version? The return of the HOMM! purple(not in a 100 years, I know, but a dark purple would fit with the factions theme, wouldn't it?) The faceless complicate matters but if I was under the impression that their numbers are suppose to be too low lorewise.

Sylvan


Ok, about the easy ones: Archers(core-females this time? There is precendent, after all.) and Unicorns(elite), that goes without saying.

They probably need a spellcaster, and druids are the logical choice. Perhaps core this time.

The core system might provide us with an animal unit-not my favourite option, but it just might. Just don't let them be wolves. Even the boars would be better.

I actually like the humble and they are a classic choice-keep them, I say.

Pegasus riders? I liked them but hesitate to see another cavalry unit. If the champion is a non'flying unit OK, but if it does fly...sorry, I can't see them in the Sylvan lineup. Perhaps in a future Free Cities faction(dream on, LRN)?

The Sylvan Champion is an interesting issue. Some people have suggested the Treant(if the Pit Fiend can be elevated, why not them?). It ceratinly can work. I have never been much of a fan of the Green Dragon and its upgrades-too much like like their Dungeon counterparts.  The Pheonix is a neutral this time, so...I don't know. We return to the Treant. To have the Sylvan Champion stil be a dragon it should be very different than Blackie and associates. Perhaps HOMM4's faerie dragon?

Anyway, these are my thoughts concerning the subject.

Personally, I think it would be better to create a thread about which creatures we WANT to see, to give the developers some inspiration (though they have most likely already decided on the Academy line-up).

Academy

Core: Golem, NEW SHOOTER (suggestion: Vanara), NEW SUPPORT
Elite: Mageblade, Djinn, Rakshasa
Champion: Titan

The Djinn will be a male, because we already have lots of female spirit creatures. Mageblades would basically be the female counterpart to Vampires. One of the new Core creatures will be a female.
Tbh, I think a female Titan would look really cool, but I don't see it happening.


Dungeon

Core: Assassin, Blood Maiden, New non-Dark elf support creature
Elite: Minotaur, Beholder/Argus, Hydra
Champion: Black Dragon

I doubt they will just throw away all the Dark elves, and I think Assassins and Blood Maidens are the ones that they will keep. The core support creature will be a female.

Minotaurs will return, H3-style, and given the creepy eye theme that Dungeon seems to have going on - Beholders will be in. If D&D has copyright or something on them, they will be called Arguses.
Hydras will return as Dungeon's primary tanks.
Black Dragons MUST return.
They will look more dark purpleish this time.


Sylvan

Core: Hunter, Shapeshifter, Pixie
Elite: Unicorn, Treant, Dryad
Champion: Mantis

Hunters are in. Shapeshifter is basically a Blade dancer mixed with some animal such as a Wolf or a Bear. Think WC3 Druid of the Claw. I think two elven creatures will be enough. The Hunter will be a female. Pixies will be female.

Unicorns will return. Treants will be the tanks again, but this time their way of tanking will be charging into the frontlines and entangling stuff. Dryads are casters and resemble female Treants. See the Dryads of Age of Mythology. Their way of ranged attacking is stretching out large vines from their body.

Sylvan champion is really hard. I do not think they want more dragons and the Phoenix is a neutral. I do not like the idea of champion Treants, so I will go with Mantises for now.

Well, these are the creatures I am a 99% sure will be in for the factions.
Academy: Mageblade, Rakshasa, Djinn
Dungeon: Blood Maiden, Assassin, Minotaur Beholder/Facehugger/Argus
Sylvan: Hunter, Female forest spirit Dryad/Pixie, Unicorn, Treant

Here's my line up

SYLVAN
Core:
1. Pixie Swarm-Sprite Swarm (Female, flyer) - not just one pixie but a swarm of tiny pixies.
2. Huntress-Grand Huntress (Female, shooter) - elven archer unit.
3. Satyr-Feral Satyr (male, melee) - not like the satyrs from H4 but more bestial like the satyrs from warcraft.

Elite:
1. Unicorn-Majestic Unicorn (melee) - the classic heroes unit returns.
2. Faerie Dragon-Fey Dragon (flyer) - something like the ones from warcraft but more bestial looking.
3. Dryad-Hamadryad (melee) - healing, support unit.

Champion
1. Treant-Dendroid (shooter) - shoots vines into the grounds which appears next to the enemies and damages them.

*satys could be replaced with a bladedancer unit if there are not enough elf units.


DUNGEON

Core:
1. Venom Spawn-Venom Scourge:  from heroes 4. toxic shootes.
2. Blood Witch - Blood Sworn: female melee units from heroes 5.
3. Minotaur-Bull Minotaur: meat shield melee units.

Elite:
1. Cavernstrider-Cavernraider - dark elf males riding atop large raptors.
2. Shadow Mistress-Shadow Matriarch - female shooters with some dark magic abilities.
3. Faceless-Ancient Faceless - flying melee units much like the one's we've seen in the previews.

Champion:
1. Red Dragon-Black Dragon: Of course this classic units has to be here.

*assassins will be the hero unit.

ACADEMY

Core:
1. Dunelurkers-Duneprowlers: Half scorpion, half man creatures which can burrow and poison.
2. Granite Gargoyle-Obsidian Gargoyle: Flying elemental creatures.
3. Arcanist-High Arcanist: Replacement for the magi. Shooters. (Magi will be the hero unit)

Elite:
1. Djinn-Djinn Vizier: flying creatures from hereos V.
2. Rakshasa-Maharakshasa: big bruisers from heroes V.
3. Demolisher-Bombardier: Gremlins manning large mortar-like cannons. they are the shooter elites.

Champion:
Colossus-Titan: Shooters. Titans have the chain shot ability.


FORTRESS

Core:
1. Shieldbearers-Shieldbreakers: Dwarven warriors with giant shields and axes/hammers to smash enemy defenses.
2. Flamepriest-Elder Flamepriest: Dwarven shooters.
3. Brawler-Berserker: From heroes V.

Elite:
1. Yeti-Dire Yeti: Fur covered creatures that look like behemoths from heroes 3. they are the melee units.
2. Salamander-Lavamander: Smaller versions of the lava dragons that shoot molten saliva from far distances.
3. Valkyrie-Battle Valkyrie: Female dwarves riding on winged horses. naturally, they are the flyer units.

Champion:
Frost Giant-Frost Goliath: They resemble the storm thanes but they are not dwarves. they are giants. they can teleport.

I doubt there will be unicorns, it looks like glories took their role, they can blind enemies and dispel magic on nearby stacks. moreover there are no more chance based creature abilities, so bliding attack would be really powerful (unless they just make it a no retal attack like the sun crusader. oh yes btw, the sun crusader is already a horse with a blinding attack)

Judging by how creative the BlackHole team has gotten, I'm sure they will find new roles for the unicorn. but the unicorn is such a classic creature that it will surely make a return.

So my opinion

Dungeon
Core
Assasins: not necessary but as a Shooter why not
Shapeless Bat or dark drake: small support flyer with eyes on there wings to keep the theme*
NEW melle unit (No traglodite)

*another option Facehuger from DM

Elite
Minotaur: no comment
Matrarcha: (female)
NEW flyer: big one (Maticora?)

Champion
Dragon or Faceless (we know they are in the game, but how strong are they?)

Sylvan
Core:
Only Hunters needed Everything else can be done in a new form

Elite:
Druids: If I look at the new hero classes I see different names then something as common as Druid (Warlock is an exception)
Rest can be done new, I do not think Unicorns will make it.

Champion:
Scrap the dragon. I see a living plant here, not like the trent but more like a carnivores plant, that can be done easily

Academ:
Core
Golems will stay. anything els can be done in a nother way. some beastman could be present

Elite
Djini will stay in a Female form
Mages could be, or be replaced by an apprentice as Core
I still see the Mageblade here

I am not sure if the Faceless is going to be a creature line up in Dungeon.....he's a character like Michael and Uriel.

These following creatures have to be in the line ups:

For Sylvan -> has to have Sprites, Hunters, Unicorns
For Dungeon -> has to have Minotaur, Hydras, Black Dragons
For Academy -> has to have Golems, Mages, Titans
For Fortress -> Strange, I can't think of any dwarf that HAS to be in the line up, as we can only go on H5 for this...

Roc could stay with the mages. I think it would fit.
The Academy could be something like this:

Core:
Gremlin
Golem
Djins (female)

Elite:
Mage (female)
Roc
Rakshasa

Champion:
Titan

They told us a while ago that gremlins won't be in this game, because they haven't been invented yet.

And I think they could really do something spectacular if they made Titans a boss instead of a champion unit - though I'm not sure what they would do about the Academy's champion...

My line-ups

Here are my line-ups for the factions, H6-style:

Academy

Core

Gremlin - Machinist- core shooter

Clay Golem - Steel Golem- core melee, mechanical

Winged Serpent - Coutal- core flyer/support

Elite

Enchantress - Archmage- elite shooter/caster

Hollow - Void Lord- elite melee, mechanical

Djinn - Vizier- elite flyer/support

Champion

Colossus - Titan- champion melee/shooter, the boss will be Talos and will be a HUGE Titan.

Dungeon

Core

Executioner - Kinslayer- dark elf male core melee

Beholder - Evil Eye- core shooter

Gargoyle - Wargoyle- core flyer, living (a monstrous mutant created by Warlock magic)

Elite

Minotaur- Arena Lord- elite melee

Chimera- Abyssal Chimera- elite flyer

Dark Witch- Black Matron- elite shooter/caster, can summon Shadow Elementals

Champion

Hidden- Ancient- a Faceless, champion caster/melee. Red and Black Dragon will be Bosses, with the Black being the stronger one.

Sylvan is bit harder, but I will think of something...

Brainstorming:
- Possibility 2 factions per expansion
- Possibility 2 expansions in total (unless there is a miracle and we got 3rd expansion)

Faction possibility:
Classic returning:
- Sylvan/Rampart
- Academy
- Dungeon
- Fortress (Lizardmen, possibly under different name, Preserve or Hive maybe?)

"New" factions in Ubisoft-generation meanings:
- Ylath based (maybe under "Tower" name?)
- Fortress (Dwarven)

Most possible faction: Sylvan
Second most possible: Dungeon

How all fit in "Ashan"
- Classic returning, in exception to Fortress (Lizardmen) are part of Ashan in the first place and included in a very close time line as the Heroes VI. Therefore the 2 most possible factions are Sylvan and Dungeon, but of course I can be wrong.
- Fortress (Dwarven): while existed as expansion race in the previous installment but considering the mixed reception, we might see different kind of Fortress (hopefully) or they will not return at all.
- Fortress (Lizardmen) can put an interesting twist, maybe they are the most ancient race in Ashan, the direct descendant to Dragons in spite of their primitive military way, of course considering Dragons as deity in the world of Ashan
- Ylath (Free Cities) maybe the less possible faction, only crazy things like: Brian Falcon is actually immortal and try to bring back humanity to their rightful god. Even I found that cheesy, so I don't think we will see any of this kind. Not to mention that we already have 2 factions having Humans as major race (Haven & Academy)

-Academy-
Core:
1- Gromlin. Shooter. Totally not a gremlin (it's justified in the lore!)
2- Sand spirit. *NEW* Yup, the Sand Spirit is basically a reskin of the Air Elemental.
3- Automaton. *NEW* It's a golem though, they're not fooling anyone.

Elite:
1- Djinn. The Djinn returns as a female flying caster.
2- Mage. Another caster. Underwent a sex change in order to appease the Ubilords.
3- Rukh. *NEW* A giant flying bird. You know, a Roc.

Champion:
1- Rakshasa. Large creature. Sparsely saturated, because who needs colors?

I'll do a short post on the a possible line up for just the Academy faction using the rules that were mentioned in the first post.

Core:

1. Arcanist - High Arcanist
This is the mage creature returning with a new name in the same fashion the angels returned as seraphs/celestials. another reason for the name change is i believe that the Archmage name will be used as a magic hero. the arcanist is mage (shudder the thought of having female magi). its a shooter as well.

2. Dunelurker - Duneprowler
The first new creature. It is a half man, half scorpion. i'm not picky as to whether it looks like the top half of a man and the bottom half of a scorpion or whether it's two legged scorpion/man mutant. it fills the role of the golem being the early tank creature. it can burrow underground and then move, jumping out of the sands when it strikes an enemy without retaliation. the upgrade will probably have some sort of poison or paralysing ability.

3. (Have no name for this creature)
Based on Moonshade's hollow-void lord, this creature is a floating armored suit with arcane energy pulsing through it giving it the shape of a humanoid construct. it is basically a golem mixed with the gargoyle. it can fly. i see them axing both those creatures and merging them into one and Moonshade's idea is pretty cool.

Elite

1. Djinn - Djinn Vizier
The Djinn returns but in centaur fashion, it returns female. they fly, and can cast mass blessings on allies and mass curses on enemies when upgraded. also armed with those cool scimitars which do some mean damage although they don't possess high defense.

2. Rakshasa - Rakshasa Rukh
The only creature I'm almost certain will appear only because of that concept art picture from puppetworks. This big, bad melee tank can cause some terrible damage.

3. Glass Cannon-Shard Cannon
A construct of the Academy, this unit looks like the glass cannon from Rise of Legends. It fires a shard which damages the primary target and the glass orbs they fire shatter, dealing shrapnel-like damage to surrounding enemies.

Champion

1. Colossus - Titan
Of course the epic creature returns. The colossus is a shooter while the Titan has the chain shot ability from the Heroes V succubus.

My 2 cents:
-~- Academy -~-
*Core*
- Gremlin (shooter/support)
I really can't see why they wouldn't make to H6. They are soo... cute! I really love them! You know, they are a improved version of the goblins, a cheap and numerous unit, a successful experience of the mages. This once again thet will be ranged and supportive units.
- Golen (walker)
The slow, sturd and mindless construct thay will be the backbone of the academy army.
- Mage (shooter/caster)
The upgraded version probably will have about 3 active abilities, one of them must be fireball
*Elite*
- Rakasha (large walker)
Hope this time both basic and upgraded version will be the same gender.
I don't know about the other 2 elites. Maybe academy get Manticore, even if the necropolis already have a similar creature... anyways, if you look the lot of similar creatures we're getting, one can suppose that ubihole don't mind that much about it.
*Champion*
- Genie (flayer/caster)
I don't think the mages already have the tecnology to build colossus or titans, also I never liked titans very much.
Also, It would be great to promote Genie to Champion, they are very cool!

-~-Dungeon-~-
*Core*
- Troglodites (walker)
I also love them! It would be great to see them back.
In ashan they could be a lesser form of the Faceless, sipirts of darkness, or whatever. Just make them imune to blindness and that's the way to go!
- Assassin (shooter)
Saddly, in ashan the Dungeon will be about darkelves, so this guy will surely be in.

Couldn't think about the third core creature... but it will be something new!

*Elite*
- Evil Eye (large/shooter)
They will be also spirits of darkness
- Witch (caster)
Same as in H5. It was great, so, no need to change.
- Minotaur (walker)
I hope they will be like the powerful and ferocious minos of H3.
*Champion*
A very big faceless!

- Sprite (support/flyer)
They MUST be in.
- Hunter (shooter)
They REALLY MUST be in.
- Bear (large walker)
In clash of heroes bear was one of the core units of sylvan, so I think they will be in.

- Druid (caster/shooter)
I loved them! They were perfect! Hope the will be in!
- Roc (flyer)
Or maybe a Giant Eagle. SOmething like that.
- Unichorn (large walker)
They simple must be in!
*Champion*
- Treant (large)
With lots of hit points! And entagling enemies while the druids and hunters take then down at distance!

Isn't it strange that there hasn't been a giant spider creature so far? There are at least 2 factions that could get such unit and it could be awesome with some nice abilities, web for instance. Underground faction such as Dungeon or desert one such as Academy would be perfect to home a spider unit and since these have a big competition going on for their champion units the spider can be introduced as an elite.
