I am 99.9999% sure the druid is the Sylvan magic hero. I'm willing to wager my left kidney on it.
As for the manscorpions, if they do make it, i'm hoping they look like the scorpion King.

Well, many of us, me included, thought that with Heroes 5 as well. Many of us, not me this time, thought that we'd get a Druid hero in the 5 expansions. So I'm not that certain it'll hapen.
I'd give it 80%, with a 15% chance Druids will be units and something else will be chosen for magic classes and a 5% chance of there being several kinds of druids with some of them being heroes and some of them being units. They've surprised us before.
As for the man-scorpion. It's nice and I agree there's a chance we'll see it, likely in Academy, since they've been introducing beastmen left, right and center. But I don't think the chances are high.

I really don't want a scorpionman for Academy mainly because it probably would look to similar to the Fate Spinners and also I don't want beastmen creatures for academy as I think they have gone past that and uses constructs like Golems and more magical creatures like Djinns instead. Here is my example for a lineup:
Core:
Contraption Bird/ Stymphalid
(It's the Stymphalian Bird from greek mythology but I uses another less "official" name for it as it's shorter and more compound) This replaces the Gargoyle as I think a bird is more elegant which I think fits Academy better. But it don't have to be a bird, it could be a mechanical Scorpion instead but what I want is a construct creature in core, elite and champion. Then it would make more sense for the Week of Constructs as there isn't construct creatures in the game right now (but that week is probably an easter egg or something but then it could be used if we got three construct creatures to Academy)
Sand Warrior/ Sand Janissary
As The Seven Cities are located in the desert it makes sense that the Wizards would use their magic to use the sand and create Sand Warriors. I imagine that they have two swords, a bit like golems from Heroes V but not as rigid but much more gangly.
Mage/ Archmage
This is probably the 'Mageblades' I have red about but if you have the Sand Warriors I don't think we need another warrior creature which the name suggests, so I'm just calling the upgrade 'Archmage' as it will act much more as a support unit.
Elite:
Rakshasa/ Rakshasa Raja
This unit I think can be replaced with another as it seems from the concept art it was thought as a neutral creatue in the game but if they uses it I think that would be best as I think Academy needs a 'cool' creature like Inferno's Pit Lord and Sanctuary's Kensei. Also, from the concept art it's seems more organic but I rather have it in spirit from.
Djinn/ Djinn Mystic
If Academy is gonna have a female creature I really think that the Djinns is the best choice for that. other than that the Djinns will have a similar role as it always has.
Golem/ Gold Golem
This is now a large, bulky and slow creature and the upgrade is made of gold as I think its fits the color scheme I have thought of for the Academy creature: nonupgrades have silver on them and upgrades have gold.
Champion:
Colossus/ Titan
Pretty much the same as it have always been nothing much to add here.

I have a feeling that blade singer / blade dancer will still be in the Elves lineup (like a elite unit), and probably better this time around, something like
1.Evasion : can evade 20% of any non spells attack completely including retaliations agains them.
2.Blade Dance : have a 20% chance of hitting target twice (including on retaliations.)
Assasins could easily be better with simple stats enhancement, with the way H6 plays I'm pretty sure they'll easily be decent.
My guess on the Elves lineup would be.
Core:
Pixie / Spirits
Archers / Hunters
Druids under a different name (like Priestest and Dream Walker vs Clerics and Shamans )
Elite:
Blade Dancer / War Dancer
Unicorn / War Unicorn
Nymph / Dryads (they are NOT the same as Pixies and Spirits in greek mythology, they appear as a maiden, in D&D and other fantasy adaptations they sometimes have more tree / horse like appearances.)
Champion:
Treants
Meanwhile, Acadamy roster seems pretty set, they'er going to be a construct oriented faction for sure, probably at least Golem / Gargoyles / Titans as constructs, and most likely mages and Rashkasha and Dijinns will be there, so that really only leave one more spot I'd hazard a guess it would be something like a magical cannon or something like that..
For Dungeons, I'm guessing a return of Medusa and Manticore is highly likely. with champion being something close to the faceless .
My guess of the Dungeon lineup
Core: Assasins / Minotaur / Medusa
Elite : Chimera / Manticore / Matriachs
Champion : Faceless like creatures.
