That's always a nice initiative.
Thinking about Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered. Probably released as far as spring next year? Given ME 5 is long ways from done, at least it would try to clean the spoil ME Andromeda left, something very akin to how spoiled HoMM became for me after 6 and 7.

Immortals Fenyx Rising, formerly known as Gods & Monsters. Trailer was a miss for me with its poor choice of BGM, but the gameplay looks more than decent from what I've seen in the early reviews. Seems to scratch that Zelda Breath of the Wild itch, so I'm kinda looking forward to play this one.

I was interested in it when it was first announced. Now I think it's just a generic adventure game, such you can find plenty of already. Plus it looks like a total rip-off from Zelda (and don't give me that "every game takes something from other games", Fenyx looks like a clone basically).

Disagree. It falls in the same category, but it's definitely not a ripoff. Three reasons for that: One, if it were a ripoff in the real sense, Nintendo would've sued Ubisoft ages ago for copyright. They know exactly what the game is since it's getting launched on their Switch, which only means they're more than okay with it. Two, it's not a ripoff gameplay-wise like LoL is not a ripoff of DotA or Fortnite a ripoff of PUBG (a more knowledgeable person might notice that I did not select those titles randomly, in both cases there were lawsuits on the subject and no party was ever given the intellectual property rights for the genre of those games). Third, the universe of Immortals Fenyx Rising takes heavy inspiration from Greek mythology (which is great since I like Greek myth a lot), therefore completely different from that of Zelda, so no beef there.
But that's one of the common "complaints", like it's a bad thing. Sure, the comparison is obvious, but isn't that speaking rather in favor of it? It's funny, because in their heads it must be like: "Hey, Zelda Breath of the Wild was amazing, so look, someone's making a game similar to it.. Wait, they can't do that!!" Like, why not? There's nothing but win if it's good.

I played neither of them. Whatever works. Most likely to play the non-Zelda, because I own no Nintendo contraptions.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
I love Vanillaware games. This is a bit different then their usual 2D sidescrollers (not in style though, their gorgeous hand-drawn graphics are still there) as it's and adventure game with strategic battles. It may have to wait though, that 50 euro price tag is I think a bit too much for now...

Also personally funding a publishing company with two development companies. That was a pretty good dumpster fire for him.
How high are the chances all the games from there will be same old? Already they are using old personnel in key roles. Its good for execution but for innovation you need nee faces, new ideas.

I didn't know there was a D4 announcement. Went to check these days and it was there since 2019. Had to check the reception, a little more enthusiastic than the mobile version, I think. ^_^ And still, they had problems with video feeds when presenting the trailer. Diablo is cursed, it seems.
The overall thing about the game is passable. Still, open world, online only ... Fixed map with random dungeons. Feels close to D3, which I didn't fancy. And other players will be populating (although not crowding) 'your' map.
Little gimmicks from Diablo Immortal could make it to D4. Like those interactive abilities that you can use walls to perform movements. At least you don't just have to click feverishly with relative spasms of abilities being cast, you have other things to interact with.
Anyway, it's not a game I am looking forward to. Just a bit curious on how they could screw it again.

Try Path of Exile if you want an experience more close to the old Diablo. Or give Path of Exile 2 a chance when it gets out. The developers really know what they're doing.

I played Path of Exile a little while. Dunno how I felt about it, actually. I didn't keep playing for some reason and I don't remember which one.
I have also that other game ... hm ... Grim Dawn. Sort of like it. Played some hours, but I got a bit bored after a while. Might become a bit less boring later on, I guess.
