As it seems, Masters of the Broken World will serve as de facto Age of Wonders III and is expected to be released this year. The two games might turn to be too similar in the end.
Speaking of rumours, a very ill one is about the rights to produce new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games being sold to Bethesda. Hope it's not true as the series will certainly suffer a fate worse of that of Fallout.

It might actually be a pretty solid game, yes, but IMO Worms has gone just downhill after Armageddon. No Worms game can best that. I've seen a couple vids of that new one as well, and I gotta say it does have potential though. Need to try it myself before judging.

I played armageddon back in hungary, and played 3D some time ago, it was pretty solid, and a massive advancement on the old worms, so not sure why it's 'bad'.

I don't even really consider the 3D ones actual Worms games.
More of a spin-off series. They were decent fun but the 2D ones are completely superior.

Oh yeah, but weren't the two pretty similar? I remember it had just some small changes compared to Armageddon. Same graphics, weapons, everything? Just like an expansion or a mod. Never played that much of it to be honest..

Quick googling tells me that Armageddon was the version that Team 17 kept supporting, they just left their newer World Party.
So Armageddon is probably better right now, might've been a different tale earlier though.
I had great fun with World Party until the disc decided to go Skynet on my computer when I wanted to play a bit of hotseat with Oscarius.
It started spinning like ****ing crazy inside the DVD-player, which refused to respond, so I managed to pry it open with my hands (cuz flipping the power switch would've been unmanly) and the ****ing disc flies out like a flipping SHURIKEN across the room and into the wall.
Oscarius and I exchanged looks of horror and amazement. And that was the end of World Party.

lol, I still remember my Kingston army and the good ol' Holy Hand Grenade...

You should tell the man to show himself here once in a while.
Worms 2 and Worms World Party are the two best in the series. Armageddon just didnt have the customisation 2 had and WWP had castles.

Oh yeah Castle mode was awesome!
Oscarius is a master class lurker ^_^ He probably reads everything on here
@Noob: Kamikaze was often useful for me because of how it cuts through terrain. Lets you land some really nice surprise attacks.

Plus using kamikaze as a denial weapon for taking out you both when it's that or lose is simply so gay it must be adored for that purpose only!
Plus glorious finisher

Get on top of one worm and put a cluster grenade on him. Instant kill...
I think that kamikaze is the "go out in style" attack. Never used it, though.

Maybe you should make Worms thread guys? 
My favorite one was Worms 1 & Worms Armageddon. I loved the medals for missions... got gold in all trainings and unlocked stuff like aqua fish, super shotgun and super grenade

At the start of this year I thought I was going to play at least two awesome First person shooters. However it appeared that I got to play neither of them.
Prey 2, was scheduled to launch 2012, but they said: "Snow it! we need more time", so it will instead arrive in 2013.
Bioshock Infinite was to be delivered this August, but they said the game weren't quite ready so it will be delayed to February 2013.
This is good stuff though, and makes me glad to see that they take whatever time they need. Too many games gets rushed these days, and these heavy-hitters will be amazing, I'm sure of it.

I absolutely adored Prey, though looking at the second one, it seems like a game that I'd try, but I have no idea what I'm looking at. (since it seems VERY different from the first one)

I agree completely, and when I heard that you were not going to play as Tommy, all my hype and hope died. However the more I've seen of it the more promising it seems. Though I think it's clear it will be nothing like the first one. Anyways still looks like an awesome game.
