As a big western fan, I enjoyed it, but it's nothing outstanding. Give it a try.

CBS has a new series called Elementary. A modern "reboot" of the Sherlock Holmes tale, with Watson being a woman hired by Holme's father to help him recover from addiction. There have only been a couple of episodes aired so far but I've enjoyed them.

I would have to one-up you by pulling the Sherlock card. It's basically Holmes's greatest mysteries set in modern times, so all the cars, i-pods, and blogs are combined with a cocky-*** anti-social private detective who performs miracles with deduction. Oh, and then you have Watson. Who can't get a date to save his life because he has to keep Sherlock (His room-mate) alive. And all the gay jokes are had, and it is such fun...

Though there are only 6 (1 1/2 hour long) episodes, this is definitely one of my favorite TV series of all time.

Dexter last season episode had potential for adrenaline. I watched first two of new and was wtf, all ended in sister making spaghetti carbonara for serial killer brother while chatting about corpses. Typical american series where every episode is invented after the last one, it lacks cliffhangers.

Hey, I loved it until his secret gets discovered. From then I expected more adrenaline, but was the opposite. I hardly see what they will find now to keep interest, as the most thrilling plot is gone.

Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead (although it is not closely as good as the comic, i like zombie stuff), Big Bang Theory, Sherlock and The Black Mirror from BBC, but their seasons end too quick.

Hell on Wheels is Deadwood for teenagers, i stopped taking it seriously when the guy shot in the mouth came back from the woods and apologized from his shooter.

Oh, and it's been a long time but since I've just seen this thread, Lost was an insult to human intelligence. The finale was a disgrace and without a decent finale the whole storyline meant nothing.

I actually thought the ending was a redeeming feature. It ended how it began, with Jack laying in the forest. For some reason, I found that to be an almost poetic end to a somewhat disjointed and unnecessarily violent series... And the idea that this was all Purgatory the entire time made some of the crazy ***** more reasonable. Still, not my favorite series ever.

Well, i don't think it did. By like season 4 there were so many contradicting stories within stories, I begin to think this is either going to resolve itself so unforgettably genius or it's going to be a sham, probably a sham. Leading these into Purgatory dreams is not concluding them by a meaningful way. It's like watching a detective story where you got all these weird clues and in the end half turns out to be just a dream the detective had. Why put it there then? There was this final scene in (maybe) season 2 where Abby was in a mental hospital with the fat guy, what happened to it? How do they explain that scene in the end?

They also did this in Battlestar Galactica, not as horribly as Lost but still, many weird clues that was unexplainable was, in the end, explained with "God wished it, so he did it like that." That's not explaining stuff, that's just lazy script writing, imagine this:
- But how did the killer went in the living room, Holmes? The door was locked from inside.
- Oh, my dear Watson, it's very simple. God put him there.

Game of Thrones season 2 wasn't as great as Season 1.Charmed had, sometimes, better episodes.
But,since my first post in this topic,I could add the list 3 more shows:
Charmed,
The Murdoch Mysteries(I'm curious if Shyranis has seen it yet. It's fantastic)
Merlin(BBC's).
Btw,I forgot to mention the BBC miniseries "Luther" which is absolutely great.

I watched the first episode of Terra Nova, it was so far. Would recommend watching. It even has this guy in it. Plus dinosaurs. Plus big waterfalls. Plus laser beams.

I <3 laser beams.
