Most TV seasons from Hollywood today are written on the spot, as they go along lol.

this one sucked less than the others.

compared to something like the 100, it's great.

The script was as snowty, but the actors were way better. It's best not to expect much from actors in their twenties ( the 100 lol ). Day Tak Tar really impressed me.

I'd really wish they stopped the crap factory. but hey, I guess after that writer strike in 'murica, it's better to hire an army of barely literate crap-for-brains who came out with crap.

well, here's to hoping they make a sci-fi show which doesn't suck or get's cancelled after few seasons. They should make something like Babylon 5. That was a good show. Or Lexx. Or Stargate(never was a huge fan of that, but it was good)

but I guess they're just gonna belch out a bunch of crappy superhero movies and shows. seems to be a thing these days.
Also the hardcore porno novels in a fantasy/sci-fi setting. that's also a thing. Rule 34 appearantly doesn't apply to teh interwebz alone

In that regard, even japanese anime are better. They're consistent with a predetermined story that will last 2 or 3 season top. Hollywood writers starts with a bang, then they check the ratings ; if ratings are high enough, they fill it with boring stuff and they only pull out their good ideas when the ratings get low enough so it's not canceled. it's ridiculous.

Wow, if done right, this show can be one of my favorites of all time. It's in the 60's which is one of my favorite eras, but the Nazis had won the war, so there will be WW 2 themes which is another period I particularly like to read and watch about. Can't figure if it's mystical fantasy or sci-fi from the trailer but downloading the pilot as of now. Production and the cast appears to be high quality. Nice recommendation.

Read the book (another Philip K. Dick work): The Man in the High Castle

With his effortless King-like output, Dick is certainly one of my favorite SF-author, if not THE favorite.

That's what I was thinking. 1960s, but with Nazis. What could go wrong? I saw Rufus Sewell a lot in the trailer, and I honestly can't think of one show/movie that he was in that I didn't like.

I'm guessing it's some sort of "Sliders" parallel universe story, so I would put it under sci fi, but hard to say.

Well, this certainly wasn't the pinnacle of the seventh art, but yeah, he's a plus.

A little late to the party but watching Jessica Jones! This show is just absolutely fantastic. Former superhero turns detective. Noir, raunchy... Deals with tough topics. Great

I'll only watch if they have a real ship's captain. Kirk and Janeway are my favorites.

i'm up to watch the last released(?) episode of the walking dead. this 6th season's interesting, to say the least. i like how the writers apparently reversed someone's demise(not gonna give it away); as that person was one of my favorite characters.

the military guy's a trip(didn't care for him initially, but he's really growing on me). can't wait to see what he does with those wonderful toys he found.

edit: see? this is what i was talking about. the word "with" was replaced with the word "that". you tell me, what sense it makes to type that word, instead of the one that i wanted to type.
