First season was fantastic. Looking forward to Season 2.
Speaking of Fantastic, I finally got around to watching the final few episodes of Mad Men. Was a great ending to one of the best TV dramas of all time.

Clearly not one of my favorites but I somewhat enjoyed Black Sails series. Pirating has always interested me, you know torrents, i mean turrets or what ever cannon they are
First season was nice, but second season little lost it touch, so gay Liked the main villain/heroes in the story.

Madmen was awesome, if I'd have to use one word to describe it would be: class. This whole series really got it.

Oho? I'm gonna check it out then, there's not so many. Have you watched Treme btw? Freaking TV series about jazz.

About Jazz? I thought it was about before and after Katrina - well, ok, a show about NO will always involve music in some kind, I guess...
No, Nashville IS about music, plus the business, politics and the usual stuff, in this case sex and drugs, obviously. A lot better than I actually thought (but would have given it a try anyway, due to the topic).

Well, yeah, is a matter of perspective, for instance I think it tells more about jazz than that whiplash movie, but you're right is not a primary focus, music is very present in the show nevertheless.

Is anyone of you watching History Channel's Vikings? Season 4 started recently, and it looks great so far! One of my favourite TV series, I think it even rivals Game of Thrones though both have a bit different settings...
If you're not watching I definately recommend it. The series has a lot of action and some crazy plot twists plus a unique atmosphere. Also the characters are really "colourful".
Also watching 11.22.63. A 'what if' type of series with a sci-fi element (time-travel and a bit of "invisible forces" thing) based on Stephen Kings novel. So far can't tell much about the plot, but it seems high budget and they fantastically recreated that 50's America feeling.

This week I watched the finale of Agent Carter Season 2, and I was very happy with the ending. Unlike Season 1, which was dull and average, s2 had a great balance of action, compelling characters, humor and an interest plot.
I would recommend it for anyone who wishes to watch a post-war spy show with some science-fiction elements.

I have, I'm 2 episodes in and Vikings is better than ever. The pacing is still a bit of an issue, but those battles are just gorgeous

True that! Though those two characters are not in the least my favourite the action sequence in episode two was one of the most intense ones I've watched in recent time. Pure greatness... Also, Ragnar is even more badass then ever
EDIT: Just finished Breaking Bad, all in one go. Why it was definately a very very good story, I wouldn't call it the best TV series that ever was. Nevertheless, although I was late to the show, it was worth it...

I've read a lot about Dexter becoming awful later - and I don't understand it. I just watched season 7, and I think it's been a brilliant season, probably the best so far. Not in a "Dexter good guy has to kill some real monster and all is peachy" kind of way, but in a completely upending-everything kind of way.
I mean, season 7 totally tears the house down, so-to-speak. It's chaotic, things running totally wild, and there is no feelgood atmosphere, no one to identify with, and people really do wicked stuff.
Morally spoken - it's nomansland. I enjoyed that very much.

I really enjoyed the last seasons of Dexter. The finale was a bit ... hmm, not sure about that, but otherwise epic show.
Currently I'm enjoying "Billions" while I wait for season 6 of Game Of Thrones.

True, but it would depart from the book more, which is my problem. Though as I said, I hope they change my mind as I don't think the books will ever get done.
