With so much of the emergence of super villains in the fog of the past and not dealt with by the comics

Pretty much every single villain in the show exist in the comics. I really don't care about retcons in Batman because there is just too many but the main problem I see for now in this show is they mash up everything at once and can't handle it. Some of the writing is just terrible. It really pains me because some parts of the show are very good and some episodes have brilliant atmosphere, then they manage to ruin everything in a flash.

Maybe I misunderstand you - but OF COURSE every (important) character in the show exists in the comics. However, in a time the comics just mention in a half-sentence. Or, if there is more than half-sentences, there are sometimes a couple of versions in different comics and decades, depending.

The writing, well. I'm halfway through season 1, and the writing is pretty good up to that point. What I did see, though, is that ratings for season 2 are worse than season 1.

Well, overall I enjoyed more season 2 but the end felt like a musician who sabotaged his solo for the last measures.

Watched Gotham season 1 from Netflix last year. I enjoyed it but really had to forgive a lot to survive it all. I know second season will come to Netflix this year (if not already, forget the date). I will watch it of course but have no big hopes for it, 7+ entertainment with some good episodes along the way.

Also Blacklist is on my go-to watch list. Watched first season, it had it's high and low's but not in so extreme as Gotham had.

Finally watched prison break and the first season was plain fun. Wonderfully messed up, with a good cast.

I recently heard that a 5th season ison the way and I find that amusing. Do they escape a different prison each season? Lol.

Happy with the recent developments in game of thrones. Good to see returning characters, especially that one

Speaking of GoT. OMG Ian McShane, my god that was a surprise, didn't think they'd splash out on another star actor after Sean Bean, nailed his character like a beast.

First two episodes good, and the last two also good. All others were very bad or average.

Yeah that sums up pretty well my feelings.

You'll see a few good surprises (and a really cool one at some point), but overall you might get annoyed by the same kinda stuff from season one, if not worse in the end, in fact, I'd recommend to avoid watching last three episodes.

Yeah a really satisfactory episode overall. Even if predictable (though they've kept the suspense till the last minutes). It was worth it to survive through all those irritating episodes just to see this one (especially seeing Dany as a badass she ought to be). Of course there were some bittersweet moments, and it was dissapointing to see Jon provoked the way he was (well the producers wouldn't be themselves if they didn't irritate us), but the finale was all the more enjoyable thanks to this.

9+/10

Idk, lack of flaying of small children is bugging me even now. But Mount and Blade fans will ****ing love the ep, seriously that went down EXACTLY how 99% of field battles go in m&b, the beggining that is.

Spoilerish:

Charge solo forward (to get a glimpse of the enemy) get dismounted by enemy archers, then get charged by enemy cavalry while frantically ordering a full charge forgetting that your men are stationed half a mile away and are outnumbered.

Well, the guy keeping running 150% straight while arrows follow him isn't very realistic neither. But some inaccuracies are required to feed the tension, not everyone acting smart.

Wasn't pointing out inaccuarcies or such, was emphasising how it's exactly like a typical Mount and Blade singplayer battle goes ^^'.

Just finished the 4th season of "orange is the new black".
I just cannot believe how a show can get better with each season. Like honestly I was prepared for a floppy season after the perfect three seasons!!!
It s not the most realistic show but it's making a good effort to get there.
Funny sometimes, dramatic mostly, and lovely characters.
For those who don't knwo it's about women's prison.

as was i. a very good episode indeed. for a second there, i actually thought snow was really going to be crushed beneath the bodies. lol, i was telling the kid running from the arrows to zig-zag. he didn't hear me.

man, i was SO cheering snow on to beat that evil snow to death with his bare hands like a gorilla. then when he actually started to, i was like snow YEAH!! my dad and i were both aching to see that guy's face pushed out the back of his goddamn head, we both greatly enjoyed the pummeling.

then when snow saw samsa and stopped, i was like LET HER FINISH THAT snowER, GODDAMNIT. she SO deserved to annihilate that piece of snow. i only wish she would've gotten her hands dirty with his blood; at least a little bit.

edit: lol, stupid word filter.

Idk why he wasn't skinned alive, seriously if I want my enemy coming to me, just skin their lord alive infront of em, slow and he will scream his lungs out demoralizing the enemy.
