It doesn't matter if we ordered too early. What the heck does is that supposed to mean anyway? Ordering too early?
If they give you the option to order then they should deliver what has been advertised and nothing less.
Customers are protected under law.

This 'too early' excuse is a joke. Instead of helping their customers they just put your into a big party of bureaucracy and incompetent support employees and just hope you'll give up after a while.
Maybe its the French way of doing things, I don't know, but this is not the first time Ubi fails to deliver.
They are lucky I like Heroes as much as I do, but I rather see the IP go towards a different publisher and be done with Ubi.

It's not a matter of activating the wrong key, it's a matter of NOT having received the keys. The issue is summed up in my previous post(s) :

- Steam's Deluxe version was including Aguirre/Sveltana/Kraal/Yume + The Staff of Asha  + the poster pdf + the artbook pdf + the soundtrack + keys for Akasha, Edge of Chaos

- UbiShop's Deluxe was including Aguirre/Sveltana/Kraal/Yume + The Staff of Asha and later they sent the keys for Akasha, Edge of Chaos for French customers. No sight of the 2 pdf or the soundtrack. People from other countries got the the pdf and the soundtrack but they never got the keys for Akasha and the Edge of Chaos. Some didn't get any additional content.

@Irina: I successfully activated my game using the key provided by UbiShop, but I never received separate keys for the soundtrack or the two missing pdfs.
Are You saying, that the main game code was supposed to unlock these? Well, for some reason, it did not. It is impossible that I inserted a wrong code, given that I received
- 1 code for the game itself
- 1 code for Akasha
- 1 code for the Edge of Chaos
- 1 code for the Heroes Kingdoms subscription, (not yet redeemed)
The codes for Akasha and the Edge of Chaos worked fine(but only on my second attempt-strange), and I assume that there weren't issues with the main code either, since I am able to launch the game.(The promised extra map seems to be missing as well, though)

EDIT: I contacted Customer Support, but as I said, first they told me they cannot help, then they only said that the extra content should be there,(it is not!) and did nothing to help.

The_Polyglot go to www.findmyorder.com.  You will need your order number, and your password.  You will see the option to download the game, another for the soundtrack, another for the artword, etc

@Mytical: Thanks for the advice, but alas, it's no use. I already tried it the first time You suggested it, and it only took me to my order page, which doesn't list the pdfs and the soundtrack as separate downloads.

So, at what point is Ubisoft required to reimburse people's money?

When you preorder a game you're supposed to receive the full game and all of the content on the day of release; when you order a deluxe edition, you're supposed to receive the deluxe content at the time of release or when you place the order (whichever comes later).  These things are contractual obligations, and part of the agreement into which the publisher enters with the consumer.

If the publisher breaches this contract by failing to deliver the promised content at the promised time, aren't they required by law to provide compensation?

Sounds awesome and very smart, but I just really want my content(Akasha and edge of chaos) without having to invest several hours talking with ubisoft support over the phone. Why can't they just have a normal customer support with email interactions between the customer and support?

Well this is odd.  I never have received a key for the edge of Chaos, or the hero..but yet they are already unlocked.  The edge of chaos is sitting right in my artifacts section.  Sitting right next to the sword retrieved in the Tutorial Campaign.  *shrug*

Tell me, is yours a digital deluxe edition? Cause mine is a collector's edition, which I asume wouldn't have these items on them from the get go. But if yours is a collector's edition, then please tell me! So far I haven't even opened mine, because I wanted to resolve the Akasha/Edge of chaos issue before doing anything.

I still have the same situation like The_Polyglot and Ubi's customer "service" does not even reply to my emails. Country is Germany.

I got the deluxe digital edition, received codes for Heroes Kingdoms (useless), Akasha & Edge of Chaos and that was it. No soundtrack, no artbook, no poster.

Way to go with your customers Ubi!

Mine was the digital deluxe edition.  For some reason I've had access to everything from the moment it was downloaded..the artwork, etc from ubishop..and edge of chaos/etc was already there when I started the game.  So...no clue what is going on with others.

And you downloaded it from the Ubishop?  From what I've been hearing, people who purchased the game through Steam haven't had any problems.

Its very strange that you already had Edge of Chaos and Akasha unlocked in your game.
I have the Digital Deluxe edition as well and I needed to enter the codes into the game via 'Unlock Content' before they became available in my Dynasty window. Are you sure you did not have to enter any key and are you sure they are actually unlocked and not just visible, but greyed out?

I am now re-downloading the install package again to see if the artbook and soundtrack come with the initial installation archive, but do not get installed into the game folder.

EDIT: No Artbook nor Soundtrack in the download archive either.

I dunno, but I already accepted the fact that I've been scammed. It's nice to know they're trying to fix my issues, though by now, I just laugh at their incompetence, and don't even dream of ever getting the missing content, or,alternatively, my money back.

Someone should look at the agreement signed at the moment of purchase.

If it happened to you, The_Polyglot, then it happened to someone else too.  If they can't fix the problem (and it's certainly taking them longer than it ought to have taken already), they should be compensating you.

Honestly, if all you're missing are the artbook and soundtrack, it seems to me that all they should need to do is e-mail you a private download link for those items.  I don't see what the hold-up is, unless they are indeed running a scam, which (as awful as it would be) doesn't seem likely.

This is getting beyond ridiculous... The German customer support answered after my 2nd email and (in total) 6 days later the following:

"Dear Sir

your activation codes are:

Might & MagicŪ HeroesŪ VI - Deluxe Digital Edition : XXXX
Might & MagicŪ HeroesŪ VI - One Month Subscription on Heroes Kingdom : XXXX
Might & MagicŪ HeroesŪ VI - Akasha: XXXX
Might & MagicŪ HeroesŪ VI - Edge of Chaos: XXXX

To download your software, please follow these stpes: blahblahblah"



NO mention about the 3 things I asked for (soundtrack & 2 pdfs) and obviously NOBODY actually read what I clearly wrote in my emails.

I'm at a loss. I hope UBI people are reading this threads and realize that they are losing customers by the minute.
I am actually too fed up to go complain on the UBI forum...

I have created a support ticket in the Ubisoft support section two days ago and just now I got a response of a certain Fred S.
He gave me a link to a knowledgebase article about incomplete Digital Deluxe editions, so the issue is now well known within the bowels of Ubi.

However, the knowledgebase article present a seperate link to a download link for the additional missing content.
It is a link to a Ubistore item and its listed at 19.99 euros.
Rather amusing of course, but you will get a special discount voucher so the items are free of charge.
The discount voucher, however, was missing from the whole article.

So.. in short; still not solved, but we are getting there.

Have you guys filed a support ticket as well?

Could you post a link? Don't know, why I haven't received any response to the issue. I created a post on the support forums over a week ago under patches/updates and DLC, but I still haven't heard anything.

But if you could send a link so we all could fill a support ticket, then that would be great.
