Heroes 6 purchased from Steam
Hello old farts (including the master of all-insatiable)! 
Following my plan to dive into the game again, I purchased game on steam, installed, and managed to launch the game....but only once and played like 30 min.
Since then, on any attempt, the launching process is like the following: press play from steam > preparing to launch > checking for updates > uplay screen > press play > splash screen > famous window: "MIGHT AND MAGIC VI has stopped working!!!"
I disabled the antivir, i installed/reinstalled the game like 4 times, checked integrity, updated all the drivers. I mention that my PC configuration is quite above the recommended settings. Nothing helped so far.
Any of you found a workaround for this issue, cause I really need to kick some butts?

Everything works fine for me. I have boxed version from the local shop tho. I'm waiting in the [en]TOH room to chat/play. Nick ingame: tup-tus. Wait a bit if i'm not responding.

So it appears that they have couple servers since we dont see each other .

Looks like they have more game servers now, divided in world regions. I have Russian version and don't see Fiur etc, most players Russians ... One more problem for TOH and for players in general ...

Me too but looks like it's not possible at all to play for TOH for me. I buy my H6 game from Russian online shop. Downloaded English game client, but with him i got "invalid key" message  Looks like my game version allow me to play only on Russian server vs Russian players only.

This different servers thing gotta be a joke. As if we are so many TOHers to begin with. In a week I will be around to rock Felunxzxzxz!!
Is there a way to set faction/hero to random in 1.1?

I dont think there is a way to set up random starting hero or faction. Also, i just have another problem. Even i can speak with firedragon via ingame chat we cannot see each other games lol.

Disabling the antivirus, did that ever solved any issue for you guys? Maybe the solution was relevant 20 years ago, but today?

Back to the topic, I finally found the solution which is pretty stupid imo. I like to share for those who are still agonizing:
"deleting the heroes folder from My Documents"
Perhaps some of old files from beta interferred, somehow.
I believe this was a bit sillier than disabling antivir to make it work  So...
About servers, dunno, me and valky purchased game from steam, and we could join a game.
Now it's time to uncover the exploits, be back when ready (this is what i learnt from russians, they know who I'm talking about)

How do we ToHers get in touch with eachothers nowadays? I see that its not that many on msn last weeks, will that change now or is it somewhere else that we will roam?

When i read for all this server and rest problems, wonder if i should cancel my per-order in time. Again game industry sell fans unfinished product.

Well, from the point of view of functionality, the product was pretty much finished (except those stupid bugs which make the start a pain in the ass), but in terms of a STRATEGY game, there is a long way to be polished and all the mandatory features implemented for a game of this year and considering the past releases: like sim turns, exploring menus on other's turn, town screen, etc. etc, but we have promises, so I keep the hope.
Game looks nice and have some interesting new features which can qualify it for a "new" game. let's hope they patch it before we uncover all the bugs and get tired of it.

Hi Elvin! Can you help me please with UBI to exchange my Russian key to one region free, so I can play on TOH ?
Was no indication on purchase on that mater, and now online story refuse to give money back so in can buy region free version
By the way even Russian story not knew about that! Initially they send to customers region free keys, but UBI send not working keys. And after was replaced with region tied keys !
