I play using the "correct" line up with following Heroes :

Sandro - Might, Blood
Irina - Magic, Blood
Anton - Might, Blood
Kiril - Might, Tears
Anatasya - Magic, Tears

The first three characters just too violent in personality for Tears, imho.

I am stuck in the middle of swamp of boredom of playing Heroes 6 right now, so does anyone have finished the scenario and willing to share the spoilers?

I think you need to swop Anton and Kiril around......

So are there significant changes to the story depending on what path you choose? I remember they said something about it in Q&As a while back.

Really? I always feel Anton is vindictive and hot-blooded (granted, some of it because of the whispering, but still...)

Look at all the videos, Anton is trying to follow in his father's footsteps, Slava, and lead the duchy for Elrath. Slava was bright-grey knight, now Anton is this knight (bright-grey = tears)...the same person that's standing on the main screen of Heroes 6..

I've started with Necro, too, and now I'm doing Sanctuary. The problem with this is that it's really boring compared to Necro. I have a question about the reputations - if Kiril should be Blood, does that make him a bad guy and a demon forever? I was thinking of playing him next with Tears in order to save his soul. Does it work like that?

No, blood and tears have nothing to do with good and evil.

It's just the way the faction will play, aggressive or defensive..

Good factions = Haven, Naga
Neutral factions = Orcs
Evil factions = Demons, Necro

Haven good ? They're just as evil as Inferno (see Salvatore in H6 or Laszlo/Alaric in H5)

Okay, finally I used the cheat to unlock all campaign. And from glimpse I got, the storyline is too regular, imho. It tried to create an anti-stereotype story, and yet fall exactly into the most stereo-typed anti-stereotype story

Meh.

Have to agree with your question here. In fact, the Necromancers are on pretty good terms with the Haven faction. Sveltana is the aunt of the protagonists and so far I've played with Anastasya (Necro) and Anton (Haven), both have good feelings about her.

And that is open for further inquiry : how come raising the dead is an act of balance? I prefer Kelemnvor-like balance with the dead : the dead stay dead. Anything else is eeeeevil.

Even the lore of Ashan (at least in Heroes V) suggest that the Necromancers are fanatics with a warped faith on the most destructive facet of Asha. How come they suddenly show up as the 'moderate guy'? Even the story about Kaspar converted into necromancy is rather ... forced. As if Heroes VI is the product of Necromancers' and Shadow's departement of public relations

/end rant

So, first you complain because you find H6's story stereotypical and now you complain because Necromancers aren't the stereotypical big ugly evil guys that everyone hates ?

Sandro is an overly-stereotypical Necromancer in Shadow of Death but he's arguably the most liked character in any Might & Magic game (although not mine, I'd vote for Archibald). The "Asha uses all" idiot or the other stereotypical Necromancer - Markal, are almost as universally frowned upon. So it doesn't seem to be a matter of originality or clichés.
Personally, I hate their pseudo-neutrality, it's obvious that it's enforced on them and does not come natural. Not that it's impossible to make a really neutral undead-raising faction which won't look like a bunch of pretentious wannabes - but not in Ashan. Now Gauldoth Half-Dead is much, MUCH closer to this image but mentioning him in the same text as the "new" Necromancers is just... wrong.

I ranted because in trying to become un-typical, Heroes 6 fall into another typical category : one which have angels as fools/maniacs, religious faction is the bloody inquisitor, necromancers play as the balancer. This one is over-used too, imo.

I prefer the first typical stories like, Haven is truly working for the Light with deep religious commitment, without NOT falling into mad inquisition. Necromancers as truly the master of darkness and vile, vile creature. Vampire as blood thirsty creature, not bishonen with twinkle in his skin. Oh wait. We can not have that anymore.

anyway, when seeing Heroes VI storyline, won't it makes that Elrath vs Malassa battle is stupidity on Elrath's side?

Nah, story is pretty cool. Can be a little choppy and all over the place, but there is another thread about recommended campaign order to follow the story and not get too lost. But I am doing each faction campaign one by one and not getting too lost as we kinda know what's going on. Example, at end of Haven campaign 2 they talk about Kirin and Sarah causing demon stuff, we kinda know who Sarah is without playing the demon campaign yet....

Over-used? Not nearly as much I'd argue. Besides, we've had the type of stories you mention in 4 consecutive Heroes games, haven't we?
Naturally, there is nothing I can say about the matter of taste and preference. There is nothing wrong with wishing a classic fantasy world, after all. Personally I like the game's inversion, although I believe that you generalise in too broad strokes( Michael and co. are fanatics and Maniacs but I have seen nothing of the sort concerning the majority of Haven civilisation. Perhaps it's a cultural factor as wel-"crusader" is a word with a darker vibe than the classic one since centuries in my country so the Haven you describe is not exactly an aberration. As for the Necropolis, I assume that it has its saints and monsters, as we saw in H5.

As for the vampires, I prefer to see them as a literary descendant, however distant, of Moorcock's Elric(Arthas clones? Yeah, as if Arthas was a paragon of originality), which admittedly colours my thinking .

...and now we've gone completely off-topic. Personally I play all factions' missions in a row, beginning with Stronghold and ending with    Necropolis.

I believe Inferno2 and Necropolis3 should be swapped since the attack on a particular boss at the end of Inferno2 happens after Necropolis3 as it is implied in the dialogue.
