Poll Question:
Academy - homm3 style or homm5?
Marzhin confirmed that the Academy would be back, so would you prefer the Academy to be in a snowy kind of style like in homm3 or more of Arabic like in homm5?

While Academy/Tower was one of my, if not the, favorite factions in both H3 and H5, I must admit the arabian themed Academy of H5 blew me away, so my vote goes with desert.

I'd say it's 100% certain that the Academy would remain in the desert if reintroduced.

@Cepheus: I agree with you there, unless they decided to completely rearrange the lore, the Wizards in Ashan are from the desert, not the arctic.
That said, I still want them to go back to the snowy mountains. It was a much more interesting locale, in my opinion.
In fact, I liked all of the climate choices in Heroes 3, particularly the barbarians being in the desert. It just made more...sense.
But I have no illusions about what will happen with this game. Academy will be desert, Dungeon will be underground, Fortress will (probably) be snowy mountains, and Sylvan will be somewhere in the vicinity of Neptune.
I mean forests.

I liked dungeon in Heroes 3 and Academy in Heroes 5.
I think the desert theme suits them better. For me, it was the best castle in terms of music/environment/creatures. The others were sort of...plain. But who doesn't like flying cities?

Yes, id also say that academy will most likely be desert like in homm5. I dont mind snowy or desert academy they were both really cool  but i will be VERY dissapointed if fortress is snowy dwarves again. Original homm3 swamp fortress was soo much cooler. That being said, sanctuary is probably too similiar to a swamp town, which is very upsetting i think.

I like flying cities, if only the models weren't so blocky and the buldings more unique.
I don't mind Academy but I prefer the style and elegance of the Tower.
Also shouldn't this be in the Altar of Wishes board?

Sanctuary is a water town.They should reintroduce swamp Fortress and pit them against each other.

I don't want H3 or H5 style.
I want H6 style.
I would LOVE IT if the H6 Academy looked something like Angor Wat and was inspired by Hindu mythology. ^^

I voted for Arabic/desert style. TBH I fell in love with it as soon as I laid eyes on it.
Though, I would love to see a mountain/snowy faction too - maybe a dwarven one!?

HOMM2 style. Stop pretending Heroes III and Heroes V are the only games in the series.
Heroes III one looked bad: white walls, white snow, no contrast. And the music no one seemed to like.
Heroes V one looks so much over the top it looks fake. I can't believe in a place like that - what, some kind of cloud castle ? Minor villages too ? Makes me think of Flying Fortress spell from Master of Magic, and that was a very late game spell.
Meanwhile, Heroes 2 one just looks nice, proper contrast with best music:

Isn't this in the wrong sub-forum?
But on topic: I liked the H3 Tower, but the lineup would be difficult with Nagas being an own faction. I don't mind the H5 lineup.

I really do like the Arabic Academy better than the snow-ridden tower. It just seems to fit the mystical and magical Wizards better IMO.
