I voted for the snowy, fantasy-themed tower. Reason is after reading a lot of fantasy novels, that tower town is very similar to how I picture wizard towns. The arabian-themed flying city looks really good, but not really the right flavour for me =P
I think there will be a lot of bias on this forum, though, since a lot of people come from a heroes 3 background.

Do something new!
Make it a safari academy. (They could say civilization or magic withered much of the land into a desert in later centuries)

Desert/Arabic Academy ftw, still dont make the units like in homm 5, i never liked how gargs, mages, cats and titans looked like.
Also nagas >> cats, a female snake model is just too sweet to pass up

Nagas won't happen. They already have their own faction, remember?
EDIT: Unless they reskin a Coral Maiden and call it a Medusa,
which was a desert (neutral) unit in Heroes 2.

Well I think Heroes VI still happens in Asha right so maybe the desert scene will still be Academy's theme. Beside i prefer the desert theme to the snowy one

As long as we're talking wishes, I'm all for wasteland-themed Wizards, reminiscent of the ones in H2, but I suspect they'll stay in the desert.

While I did like the snowy theme of the Heroes III Tower faction, I did not like their overall design. Most of their creatures looked rather bland and I could not warm to the red-blue colour theme of some of their buildings. It looked somehow strange for me.
In Heroes V I really liked the Academy town design, it looked quite nice visually. But I was not so keen about the creature design. I simply did not like the Gargoyles, Mages, Djinns and Titans and I'm still unsure what I should think about the Golems and Rakshasa.
So while I expect another desert themed wizard faction because of the existing lore (although I wouldn't mind a snowy faction), I hope this wizard faction will be more appealing to me than the last one.

They could justify the introduction of swamp Fortress with something like this: Ylath decided to find the lizardmen that would worship him in change of some favors. Or they could simply not justify it.
About the poll, I want to see a flying city again, now if it's in a snowy terrain or a desert I don't really care.

They can make some unexplored forests or something and when Naga goes there it turns out they were not much forest but swamps full of Death Cows,Flies,Hydras and Basilisks.
btw They should scrap the gay hydras from 5 along with the dark elves.

Unfortunately yes... This was one of the saddest days in my gaming history. I don't think that I ever had so much fun again in any fictional universe as I had in Enroth, Erathia or Jadame.
