Last episode of the inferno campaign seems the most boring  . I killed the red templar in 2nd week and then nobody else? Just wandering and increase power of hero on a neutral map? I was expecting something more interesting for the last map before the epilogues . Maybe the reason we don't need to convert towns. Hope the boss fight will be nice at least...

I had the same, actually. Last boss was a pushover.

Well, I decided to use the map to max Xana since she was only lv21 at beginning. Only 2 free lv-ups so she had to reach lv 28. I hired a hero when Kiril was lv30 to hit the lv-ups so the mentor had 27 levels so Xana was lv 24. But when I decided to have a look at the last opponent I was really disappointed, any of my heroes could beat that army without casualties . So I decided to lv up Xana to lv 26 and be done with the map. Sh'ell learn the next levels in the epiloque. Seems to me the facelles will be an interesting faction to play .

Oh my God... I killed Mother Namtaru in one turn! Not even in one turn, in half a turn. Only Cerberi, Lilims, Lacerators and Maniacs got to attack, once each of them. Is this what they call a boss?

I got so worked up with all the promotion she got during development and she was just half a bite from a single cerberus' head.

I didn't even get to see what these white stuff were supposed to do on the battlefield...

She was easier even than Hai Ryou! But at least she killed a few dozens (while I defeated Hai Ryou with no casualties) with her jump. First and last thing she did in the fight. Just as soon as she found herself within range of my melee units, her health dropped like lead.

Seriously now, fighting the Fate Spinners in the Eternal Canyon was harder than this.

Yes, inferno campaign is super werid in this regard, map 1 was actually quite tough (actually , one of the toughest) while map 4 is easier than the freaken tutorial.

I've also experienced the same thing, she only attacked once, and she died. But I think it is the problem with bosses generally not only Mother Namtaru. I have killed that Breeder boss even more easily, got that achievement about her "kill her without seeing any attack".

They obviously couldn't calculate how our armies will be strong after capturing so many towns and playing for months (game time). A %200 health bonus to all the bosses is necessary.

umhh, no? namarutu was easy i give you that, but i feel that i took to long on that map anyway, but other bosses were rather fine, but if one takes his time with campain then it obviously does not work nicely as you will have tons of troops.

for it to work always boss would have to scale with his attack and health, but then again it's probably not worth it.

also increasing health by 200% would mean that those who play bit faster need to wait doing nothing to grow some troops which is not nice at all.

maybe it would help not to play one map a freaking 12+Months?

Max time I ever spent on a map was like 6 months, but most campaign maps are 4 months tops. But I'm a completionist and clear all trash, collect all resources and artifacts and capture everything there is to capture. Still, most bosses are "trivial" by the time I get to them.

Kiril did not stop advancing ever since the game started. I could not have got there any sooner. I might have lost only a couple days when I realized that I missed an underground entrance somewhere and went back to cover it.

Maybe it would help if the enemies could cause me a few casualties. But I did not loose a single creature in the entire game, except those few that Mother Namtaru killed with her first and final jump.

I'm not sure if anyone else posted it but I'll just post it again.

I played Kiril as Magic Affinity (cause its much easier on the first map, in my opinion at least) and during the second Blood transformation, he was hold on both staff and sword!

Increasing health to a new fixed value won't help. As long as bosses are fixed in stats, it's only a matter of timing whether they will be impossible, tough or trivial. Having their stats scale with time would possibly help this, but would be trickier to balance (you don't want them to be forever impossible).

Yeah I thought so. That's why I did not do that

I support the %200 HP idea. Mother Breeder was also that easy. Even easier, cause Namtaru attacked once. Breeder didn't even have the chance.

Although Alci's idea is smarter. Just like the neutral troop numbers, Boss HP should also grow with time. But I don't know if that's possible in the game mechanics, as it is a creature and  every creature has fix stats.

And maybe it should be like KB where Boss creatures retailate to every melee attack.

Of course it's possible - if they want it, they can just code it. Can't be that hard.

They could also just give (some of the) bosses unlimited retaliations.

I've done 4 of the 5 faction campaigns, and am working on Inferno (my 5th) right now.  I must say, Inferno map 2 is my least favorite map out of every campaign I've played so far.

Map 2 is horrible b/c it is nonstop large Necro armies constantly attacking from every angle to re-take your forts, etc.  Making progress in the map feels somewhat futile.  But worse of all, the map will probably take 8 hours and it is the SAME battle over and over and over.  Inferno vs Necro is absurdly lopsided too.  Uggh, anyone else this annoyed with the Inferno campaign??

The highlite of this Campeign is at the edn of map 1.
It gives you large expectation but as you go on, the quality of the campeign goes down and down...But I still like it better then Haven or Sanctuary

So far I've completed the first 3 maps.

After really liking the 1st map (and its ending), I hated the 2nd map (it was my least favorite of any campaign map), but was surprised to find a great 3rd map.

I really enjoyed the layout of the 3rd map, the fights, etc.  My only complaint is that it was too easy.

Now onto the 4th!
