How many H6 servers exist ?
On Russian forum are theory that H6 have 3 servers :
1. Steam - own server, different from Conflux.
2. Conflux EU\COM - server for Europe and USA + others.
3. Conflux RU - server for Russian region.
Question is - can Steam users play with Ubi shop owners of the game ?
Update from official UBI forum :
I am from the US, and I bought a digital copy from ubisoft. but I only am seeing euro player's games and I can't play with my friend who bought a hard copy of the game in the US.
We have the same patch version so it's not that.

I'm not sure how to tell whether I'm on the "steam" server or "euro+us+others" server. I bought it on steam but I don't even have steam open when I run it, I just have a shortcut to the actual heroes exe. Would be cool if you get put on US+Euro server when you run it w/ steam closed, and steam server w/ steam opened.. more options

There was many players from China in the beta and apparently they are no more in the EU server.
I think you can add one server for Asia. Of course, if it's not the same than Russia ...

"Hello,
Over the last 15 years Ubisoft has brought a special care to the Russian market and adapted the company strategy to the request of the market in order to bring you the best gaming experience, but also to make the most competitive offer.
Thanks to this, the Russian community is now one of the biggest. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support and constant interest to Ubisoft titles throughout years. We have been receiving lately comments regarding the fact that some of you were not able to play with your friends outside of Russia & CIS territories. Due to the uniqueness of the Russian market, we have had to create a dedicated server for the Russian community of MMH6.
From this perspective you can see that it is central for Ubisoft to balance our offers and cut down all potential speculations.
This warning should have been added on the Heroes VI pack and we apology for not having anticipated the problem in time. It is now done. Please, keep in mind that the quality of the game, the content and the story are exactly the same whenever you are in the world. All further official patches or additional content will be identical for all countries as we have always done it before.
We apology for any inconvenience it may cause you and wish you to enjoy playing Heroes VI.
Might and Magic team."
Looks like no chance to play together anymore like it was in H5, thanks UBI for your special care

This might actually be the first Heroes game that I dont continue with. I barely have any interest in loading it up.. I dont even care if I try and learn the game.. They have stripped down all the good elements that have been achieved from previous versions, and have soo radically changed the format and structure of the game, that it is not even interested. Once again, they only care about the Campaigns and STORY of the game.... the game is NOT built around multiplayer.
Its obvious from the ULTRA low activity in this game, that UBI screwed this up. Time to revive Heroes 5!

-the game itself is a promissing one and I like it. What ruins it are bugs, lack of sim turns, separated servers, maps to be created only in the hot seat and on and on...
- "no comment" about ubi statement, or may be later on

Well thats my point... I know its one small issue.. but I spend 90% of my time trying to click mouse and rotate the map like in H5.. soo D A M N E D annoying. After the 50th click attempt.. I just turn game off.
I swear... who lives in a house with 3 working indoor bathrooms, then goes and builds a MANSION and puts no indoor bathrooms, but adds a fancy outhouse! Once improvements and evolving is done in a game.. why in the hell would you REMOVE stuff from the game!!!!!!!

I know about the control plus arrows.. but it only goes 180 and then when you let go of arrows it bounces back.. I want the 360 view like H5 that stays where ever angle I put it. Kinda like playing Super Mario on side to side then playing 3D then having the new game released and its back to side to side!!!! BORING

It's the first time in 12 years of heroes when I start losing patience and being sorry, not for the money i spent on the game, fuc.k it, but for all the hopes and expectations I had regarding this release.
Damn, I'm so pissed of.. I want to play and I simply cannot, immediatelly after sending first turn and see the bar and me being stuck staring at the screen, i go berserk.
Especially that sim turns, like the wheel, has been introduced ages ago and by the same publisher. They POSSESS the freaking code already, even it's an old engine it is far better than the actual non-existing one, why souldn't they reuse it?!
FFS, I cannot believe they killed the multiplayer completelly.
Even if they planned to add it in a add-on one year after the release, that game will die until then with no probability to be revived. But I guess they reached already the target with this current release and are not too interested in spending more time with this project.....

You've always been hopefull Ves. I'm just wondering, how did each game translated into online activity. Do you have compiled stats for that ? Maybe per active players or weekly game results reported? Can you share this info ? If not in absolute quantity maybe in relative values for each of the HOMM games of the series ? H2 to H6?
