You have:
Sanctuary - Might, Tears

I have magic Irina and Blood I think this 4th map will be a hell for me.

It shouldn't be a problem.  I was just commenting on the loading screens.

What skills besides counter strike 3 are good? I've played three campaigns with magic heroes so far and now I'm thinking about giving might a shot.

I think at least 1 point into tactics is a must for any hero, might or magic.

Reinforcements can be good.
If you know the enemy is likely to target a specific stack you can reinforce them and then so long as you keep that stack above the original # of units (thru healing or w/e) then you won't lose anything.

Stand your ground/mass stand isn't bad.

Rush can be helpful, say if you want your huge stack of shooters to go before their big stack of shooters. Probably forgetting a bunch but that's what i have off the top of my head.

The archery line is absolutely devastating with the Priestesses and Maidens.

If you are a Might hero, following tears will give you Eye of the Storm which is crazy good.  It allows your unit to evade up to 3 attacks and is great for tying up enemy units.

I can't remember the name of the line, but the skills that up your unit hit points, for a total of around +7% or so are useful.

I would also recommend evasion.  A blanket 18-19% damage resistance for your entire force for 2 turns is really nice.

I do not recommend the catapult line.  I had hoped it would be better in the final release but it was not meant to be.  For some strange reason, the developers decided to make the damage resistible, which results in numbers of 10-20 damage at the start of each round.  It just isn't worth it.

Do not clear the path to inferno area yet unless you choose to venture that way first. So long the creep blocking the entrance there is around , the AI usually won't come down to disturb you.

Which path is this exactly? There's a Haven neutral army in the middle that leads to the right, should I go there? I just got the second town (where I got the sidequest that shows the underground entrance) it's the end of week 3, I cleared most of the neutrals.

I can recruit Kirin in the first town but not enough resources to build the upgrade...

Inferno area is the one north of your 2nd town. Actually 2nd town can be taken much earlier , in the first week. Moving right should lead you to a Haven city that gives you the beacon of hope quest. Go here after you get your 2nd town.

If you are magic hero , you should have no problem handling the 2 haven towns to the right with just priestess and leapers. I'm not sure if I can do the same with might hero but some players here report its easier with might.

The bugs are getting really old in this game.  I was preparing to fight Niorbris or whatever his name is, when I get attacked by a knight in my sanctuary.  It was an imposing army but nothing I couldn't handle.

Then the game decided it would crash again.  It's disappointing that Black Hole left so many game breaking bugs in the game.

Well i noticed that my game crashed most of time during battle if i use the puppet master skill from item. I'm hoping it doesn't happen with the real spell you get with dark magic...

I actually feel that magic is much stronger in the campaign...though tears will be slightly better imo for sanctuary.

Some advice from beta 1.4 since I'm playing the Stronghold campaign for now on retail game : Whenever possible wait with magic units (priestress, maiden, spirit) before attacking you will have a huge damage bonus (as racial bonus). Same idea for might heroes but with might troops then.

K I have a slightly odd question.

When I played through the Stronghold campaign, in map 2, there was a decision to be made concerning rebels. If you opt to kill the rebels, you will remain in the blood path. If you opt to help them, your avatar will switch into the tears path regardless of whether you have level 1 blood/tears or not.

So I just finished map 2... started the campaign thinking of going blood... but silly me, the blood path for Sanctuary is so lackluster. Doesn't scale late game at all. I wanted to switch to tears, since I was under the assumption that that was possible in the same way that it was in the Stronghold campaign.

My question is, will there be a similar huge decision that can be made in map 3? There was a decision on whether to spare or kill Changbo... I spared him and nothing happened- my flood conjurer remained as is.

I am almost finished with map #3 of the Sanctuary campaign and I haven't seen any missions that would change instantly your current path.

I'm currently on the blood path (blood bath! ) and there was a secondary mission on map #3 that, according to its description, is only for blood heroes.  So it seems, at least, they kept the blood path in the Sanctuary campaign interesting (even though it's obviously not the intended path!).

Also, I haven't tested this but, maybe if your on the tears path, this secondary mission can be used to change instantly to blood ?

Reading this... God... Can it really be that hard? I'm magic hero with Tears as a reputation. I'm still on the second map and I'm level 9. I have Lighting Bolt and 2 extra points air, 4 extra points water, Water shield, the Ice attack (I'm sorry for not knowing the name), Healing and Mass Healing, 4 extra points light. Is this good or bad? If I'm heading into the wrong direction, which skills will help me?

Edit: Btw - did someone find the body of the Pearl Maiden that the Snow Maidens requested? I had enough searching for it and just killed them.

Make sure you get Regeneration/Mass Regeneration as well.

The dead maiden can be found this way, once you travel through the portal and speak with the Snow maiden look around for another portal, I think you have to go right... This portal takes you across the map to the place where her body can be found.

Gosh... I saw it but I didn't go in it! Anyway, 50 points more or less are not that important. I hope the last map isn't harder than the Necro one...

Edit: It's possible to win without a Dynasty weapon, right?

Reading this, you seem to have only magic abilities.  I would recommend a couple of might abilities as well, even if your hero is a magic wielder.  I like the defensive abilities (I and II) and the two that give more HPs to your creatures.  In fact, in my own game, the first 2 ability points I spent was on "defense I" and "defense II".

Need help please.

Sanctuary mission III, Anyhow, cleared the map, have one lame necro boat waiting to be brutally slaughtered but I cant find the tear of asha
There are these 4 shrines next to every town but I cant really touch them, is it a bug ? I was under the impression that thats where you get the tear particals ??

If someone feels like enlightening me, please do so.

BTW, is sanctuary easier than stronghold and heaven or is it that magic heroes have it easier ???
