I'm not sure if the shrines are supposed to do anything or not, but for the tear of asha you need to collect 4 pieces first which can be found on the map & they look like artifacts, so you'll need to right click on each artifact you haven't picked up & see if its the tear. After you've collected the 4 pieces it'll 'ping' your map with the location of the actual tear & you have to pick it up there (no digging ). Note: the pieces will show up in your hero inventory so you can check there.

I've completed the sanctuary campaign with a magic tears hero, imo it wasn't that hard at all.

Not sure if magic is better than might, but maybe your heals are better with magic hence magic makes it easier to play without losses. I'm starting haven with a blood magic Anton.


P.S. - is it possible to respecialise in campaigns? I think I read somewhere that you need a certain level/reputation but I don't recall seeing my respecialise tab ever being 'clickable' during the campaign..

Dont understand why did the camera take me to the shrines every time if I all I had to do is pick every artifact up Thanks for the pointer

I know, its way too hard with magic heroes, that's the problem

ps - Your Blood and Tears ratings are not co-dependant and you never lose the Reputation points you've gained. Every ten levels, you can also "respec" your hero's Reputation (and therefore their class and abilities). But in the single player campaigns, you have to make a final Reputation choice at a certain moment, and you cannot go back and respec (for obvious storytelling reasons).

Ahh yes I remember now, for some reason I was thinking about respecking my ability points.

Well it wasn't hard when I played it, although I had to change my playstyle once I saw how hard easy mode was, no more it being a walk in the park enjoying the scenery, more like walk in the park during dead of the night with a match as your only source of light (until you scout better )  All I can say is save frequently & keep multiple saves (usually have 2) & town portal when possible for you to reach their hero when you portal back.

Hmm I forgot about the storytelling changes, wonder how different it would be if I played blood might Irina, I hope it'll be more than just no Changbo following you in the campaigns

Altho I would need to replay anyhow to fix the dynasty weapon missing & with a might Irina I can use it

P.S. - I did notice a bug? in haven campaign & I'm sure it applies to any, where I captured the fort & converted it + the extra growth building, but when the enemy captured it back, the extra growth building automatically converted to their faction without leaving the fort (as in they stayed & hid at the fort so I had to battle them through walls, the b-tards )

Oopssie , I shouldnt have been writing in the middle of my gameplay, what I meant to say was that with magic heroes its way too easy,orcs and humans scenarios were harder.
Hehe, thanks for the tips but dont worry, I'm a long time player , on hard and with no saves is the only way to play otherwise I feel like Im cheating

lol well until there are known cheats, this is the only way to play (for storyline ofc )

throughout the campaign I never bothered with kirins, too costly & they aren't ranged  wanizames never really got much action since everything died before they could reach the enemies, although they were the most damaging against the boss..

hmm I agree that it would seem harder without magic aid, hence me going blood magic with Anton , think I'll just stay magic hero for all the campaign first time through..  

most I've played is H5 TOTE but I like the game (was dreading that H6 may turn out like disciples 3 but am glad its not, still has its own issues but meh..   )

Finished it last night, the game said it took me 6 hours to finish the 4th map but I was glad to obliterate Gerhart with core units in the 1000-range.

My advice is that it's not difficult to minimize your losses in the boss fight so you might want to try it more than once to make sure you have the army left for G.

It's funny how Haven and Inferno keep taking each other's towns. Also, if Haven captures one of your towns then the secondary mission fails because the game thinks you attacked the Wolf Duchy, stupid bug!

you don't need to visit building to convert it, you can just double click it and convert

Hi.

I've finished right now, sanctuary campaign.

My heroine was concerning about magic/tears. And that combo i think is really too powerful. While sieging Ahwick i've beaten 3 of those inferno basic stacks when they reached around 34k in numbers.
One stack eaten by apocalypse worm, one permanently "serenited" and one grounded by, only defending, teleported around kirin(-50% dmg for spirit form + spring spirits ability -15% + grounded stack challenged by kenshis). Is there match for 6 turn Serenity + 3 turn Tsunami and two, eventually "spiritual" creatures?

Btw. This fight rocketed my online rank from 30 to 35,5 lev.

Well i finished map 4 as magic/tears without a single death except last battle(which i can do it without any death too if i wanted but there isn't much point with the last battle) on hard mode. So you can see how great magic/tears is in the campaign.
Now i'm playing the haven campaign as might/tears. I have huge problem preventing major loses not to mention...no death. What I did was to let the sisters/sun riders die since i can rez them in town.

I don't think that this is right place... But.

Try to split vestals in two stacks.

My might/tears anton, haven't much trouble in keeping out of major loses.

I played a "might" Irina because that fits her portrait, loading screen, and background much better. Even though you do get a magic dynasty weapon in the beginning, there is a decent might dynasty weapon you'd get in map 2 (or 3?) of the campaign. If you need a dynasty weapon to level, just stick with sword of griffin first.

In terms of the practical aspect of choosing might or magic class, I'd strongly recommend might because there are some powerful combinations that you'd otherwise not be able to take advantage of.

For example, initiating with kirin that benefits from counterstrike III (very nasty retaliations), reinforcement (free fodder), and later Eye of the Storm (0 damage from 3 hits).

Resilience, cleave, and rampage also work very well with kensei that are buffed by coral priestesses and spring spirits.

Eight-petal lotus is great for both kirin and shark warrior.



How exactly did you choose a Might Irina? Tell me how to change their class, please .

These huge stacks of demons - are they in the underground? I haven't seen of them yet, though I have already converted two demon towns and beaten the demon general (or something like that).

Edit: Nope, only an easy boss in the underground.

All children of Slava are unlocked after you play the maps with him.

Anyway - these things written here about how hard the last map is... It was sooo easy... The only thing I regret that Irina is only level 27.

Well my Anastasia was level 30 at the beginning of the last map, but I really disliked playing with Irina so I just wanted to finish the campaign.

The more I think about it, the less sense it makes that Irina's campaign by default has her going the tears path.  All she really cares about is revenge.  

Think I'll restart the campaign as blood.

Has anyone gotten the bug on the third map where you capture all 4 towns but it only says you have 3/4? I played for so long and now I'm screwed because I can't lose all the towns to recapture them.
