I had another problem there - it didn't let me covert the Necro town.

In case anyone cares, I found out that if you go tears and then let the orcs capture the orc towns for you, it will bug and not count the towns towards your quest. This only happens occasionally, but you need to just pick the blood option and do it yourself to prevent it.

Reading this, you seem to have only magic abilities.  I would recommend a couple of might abilities as well, even if your hero is a magic wielder.  I like the defensive abilities (I and II) and the two that give more HPs to your creatures.  In fact, in my own game, the first 2 ability points I spent was on "defense I" and "defense II".


Other good might abilities to use (even if you're magic):
- rush -> good for Kenshi and Sharkguards
- pressed attack -> good when spells are cooling down
- ambush -> extra 5 initiative great on priestesses (from 35 to 40)

for me it worked fine, let the orcs take the towns, and they were counted in to quest just fine

I was blood so I decided to keep the troops and capture the town myself. But finally the orcs troops were never realy usefull for anything and I didn't lose a single unit (Well only the cyclops were usefull for Irina alone). So I let the orcs retake the second town. More money, quicker progression and santuary armies stronger ... .

Didn't happen with me and thank goodness for that. Those missions are damn long.

Sanctuary Tears Magic Hero is the most !!!OVERPOWERED!!! hero in this game. Makes Necros look like a joke.

Not only do I finish every fight with any casualties, but most of the times they don't even get to touch me.

And I'm not talking about just fighting neutrals, but enemy heroes too with large armies.

You sure didn't try a Sanctuary Might Blood hero then ... Twin Fang + Pressed Attack + Cleave is plain insane ...

All heroes are overpowered . Irina magic blood with 3 kirins alone beated the demon challenge on mission 4 end of week 2. The secondary might tear 1 Changoo also beat incredible odds with ease. In 1st week, second castle, end of second week 3th demon castle, etc, 9 kirins on week 3, ...

Now a question, maybe a bug but Changoo was horribly slow when I hired him, then I developped him and now he runs at 44 mp while Irina 36 only with dynasty trait explorer (+3 mp). Also Changoo has some hidden scrolls available each fight (3 slows, 1 summon air elemental, and 3 regenerations). Is that the same for all or a bug for me?

I am having trouble to complete quests to associate with Kirin.
I have found the dead sister, but I cannot find the temple to rebuild for the Spring Sister I think.
Can anybody tell me where it is. I am going over the map, and trying to uncover it all, but no luck in finding it.

It's just north of spirits ("left" of your starting town), in the same area with them. Cursor doesn't change at all, have to get near with hero to initiate "rebuilding" process. Another one of those silly things in this game.

Map 4 is a tough one, for sure. I mean, it's a breeze save for cheating heroes.

Conquered first inferno town, east (right) of Ashwick, and two days later, here comes Nebiros, guy that wanted to fight near Vulcano. I do have more than 100 of kapas and sharks, with 45 priestess -- but in no way enough for his 150+ of cores, 30+ of elites and 11 pit lords. Not to mention, that right behind him is another hero with throngs of cores, lots of elites.

He supposed to come this soon? It's month 1, week 3, day 6. And if I let him retake that inferno, will he come to Ashwick? It's only two turns to the west...

Should I have left alone that Inferno town?

I have this question... Where are those gigantic armies?! When I played the last map it was Hell easy and I had never run into such armies. Is my game bugged or?

Could be. Number of bugs are astonishing in this game.

My "problem" went better than expected. Ran away from Inferno town, went south to do Beacon of Hope quest. Inferno heroes retook town, but luckily, didn't again converted it to Inferno (I did that before to Sanctuary town). Another nice thing is red heroes coming to visit, so basically they play with themselves, and noone bothered to go for Ashwick, or that other town which I got via Beacon of Hope quest.

There are legions of units but they are neutral so it's easy to deal with them. I didn't run on too powerfull heroes armies because I was fast. Think I missed the  Beacon of Hope quest , maybe related to the fisherman village? because I took that town and I had an option +100 blood and attack or let it. I attacked even if I was already maxed in blood. Now everything is conquered except Breeder mother and Gerhart on beginning of week5. 36 sacred kirins already , I did try the mother Breeder fight with a very small army and I have an idea how to deal with her with minimal troops. Need advanced tactics I think. Since there are lv7 generators, I had an army on secondary hero of 1 celestial and 1 pit fiend. I was wondering what happens when you retreat with such army, will the game decide which of the lv 7 you lose? Result, you lose none . So that can help in some occasions .

I killed everything on this map, went everywhere and all that because of stupid bug.
Not fun at all, but, I did tried different approaches to the battle, and I having at least one tactics with kappas involved is good thing, first to play and loads of them can create havoc. Always have one kappa separate, not upgraded (to play second), then, you can hit some unit with kappas and cast serenity on that unit. Next 2 turns move kappa in starting position and hit it again...
