Reinforcements on kappas are great, most battles on third map I used that. And that with magic Irina. Have to replay with might hero sometime, though, that would probably be too similar to upgraded reinforced Jaguars from Stronghold campaign. As in, awesome.

As for 4th map, after finishing that Beacon of Hope quest (yeah, that one is about fishermen village), Inferno broke from north of Ashwick, took again their Inferno town (I took it again some time before), Nerubis took sanctuary there, and now I beat him on my terms -- 190 kappas, 230 sharks, and 138 priestess, all upgraded, did the job. Of course, with the little help of some nice magic and summonings. Have around 20 Kirins, but haven't bought them yet, as they are still unupgraded. Not to mention, no crystal anyway. But think that things look brighter now.

Well you are lucky , Nebiros had 800 cerberus when i fought him ^^ tricky fight for sure ! (right after I took an inferno town having no hero but 3,5k cerberus oO had to deal with it with 150 prietess and 64 spring spirit ! hopefully I had loads of summon scrolls + time stasis+ two summons + ice bolt and 1k mana (thx to the nexus) so I managed to block them at the gates.

Btw, about that Mother Breeder, I think that there isn't a tactic posted here. I'll say mine - it was really easy if you put all your creatures except shooters and Shark Warrior behind the breeder. Regenerate on Priestess (gets hit by Breeder's range attack) and Shark Warrior (gets hit by Breeder's melee attack). I lost about 300 Warriors and nothing more. All creatures that are behind the Breeder are absolutely safe and just hit it. I hope this is useful.

I did the classic hit&run. Attack, start the next turn with a unit adjacent to the breeder and return back. The breeder will do the sweeping attack and spare you the shooting.

She lasted 4 rounds with Changbo and his guardian armor. She doesn't even retaliate, with priestesses and a heal, there was no loss. Fight on week 6 with 80 sacred kirins. Irina did the fights with Marcus and Gerhardt without losses also (easy with 1200 mana, blind, time stasis, etc, ... . I finished campaign without visiting all stat boosters because it becomes tedious. More challenge for final blood campaign since it will be my only blood hero.

4th map tip

There is an island in the north east corner thats' all sanctuary creature and will join for free or money, you can get there quite fast by having a hero just walk whirlpools and up there (though some of the stacks may not join if your army is too small.) but if you get those troops early on should be pretty easy.

This map is't that hard actually , I'd think Necro 3 blood path and Inferno 1 is harder, Sanctuary troops are generally awesome and can deal with most situation well, I'd HIGHLY suggest you shoot for Yuki-Onna fast, since their frost ground ability can dish an insane amount of damage against stupid AIs.


I personally think Magic tear is very good, tsunami is sickly imbal and one of the best ultimates around, though the Might heroes are worthwhile too, but if you think about it only Kenshi and Sharks do completely might damage, everyone else is either pure water or half water, that itself already makes magic heroes more desirable.

Whatever hero you get, Tactic is almost a must if only to guarentee you can Kappa leap at the first turn, and also positioning Kirins well is also very useful, for magic onces teleport with Kappa is also very useful.

The faction's only REAL weakness is that they lack fliers, even Kirins aren't actually fliers for some strange reason, this makes siege assualts or fights on maps with a lot of obstacles tough for them since they HAVE to break down the gate / wall or they're stuck, this is where Magic hero becomes even more desirable thanks to Teleport and summon elementals. Outside of that this is one of the best faction realy, almost all units ability range from super useful to freaken imbal (with only the water spirits being more meh) .

How did you manage that? That's the weekly growth for 6 consecutive weeks of like 2-3 towns with fully upgraded Walls + Sacred Kirin dwelling. Not to mention the resource cost of 50 Crystals per town (or 25 for the non-upgraded versions, but at least one will be at 50) and 1 per Kirin. That's easily 150+ Crystals (and I am not even considering the Gold requirement) ... and that in Week 6?

He's in the Inferno Town in the northwest corner, overlooking the passage to the underground where you find the Breeder Mother. At least, there he was when I played the map, but at that point it was his only Town remaining.

Do you have to use Irina to kill him? I might killed with another heroes; btw do you know the demon boss name?

Well, as you said 2-3 towns but I have 2 towns 1st week, 3 towns with lv7 built week 2 (Nebiros dead) and after that enter human territory and captured , converted the towns there. I had soon captured all towns before end of 1st month. Changbo with lv1 - 3 troops + some kirins and Irina with only sacred kirins (3, then 9, then 20). Income and mines were enough to build as needed. Only a third hero with architect and economist skills to convert towns cheaper. The last two weeks it was just a matter of visiting power-ups since AI was cleared and only one weak hero teleported from Gerhart palace. So I decided it was enough power-ups since my 2 heroes were already lv 30 and decided to finish the map.

I had the same problem. It's just a secondary mission so leave it. There are enemy ships left in the water, you have to find them, and another town in the north-west corner, too, if I'm not mistaking.

Because you're not supposed to attack them directly. Completing one of the quests will ... take care of that. I won't spoil anything.

cant convert all towns
can build asha tear but thats that...
and it says i have 3/4 holy towns in my position and i 0 in necromancers position,i have 5 at moment. 4 scentuarty and fifth necro... i cant do nothin..

Strange, maybe it's the order of things....
I left the north-west necro town until last and when I arrived in that area of control, the ships get triggered and appear in the ocean to the north, then when you take this last town, a dragon eel comes and washes all the ships away, it's all automatic...

On mission 3 though, I have a question, I am on the tears path so didn't convert any orc towns (or else the orc dude gets upset). As this is a seconday blood path quest, can I still complete it as tears? Will it make any difference to my tears route?

Yup, the order of the town matters, i think the objective of the campaign need to be reworked. It lack useful words. Or perhaps the triggers lack more condition, this cause stuck in campaign.

The one you asked is about converting orc town, i think to succeed you need to conver all 4 town to sanctuary, that means the orc's got converted too.

Other than that, i suggest not do anything related to blood, though i guess what define you as tear or blood is the path choosen in the first map, but then again maybe the choice in last map means you are granted an option to redefine your path, if yes, then better not do anything related to blood.

In my game Irina is blood path from beginning. But in mission 2 I choose Changbo (might tears) instead of the magic blood secondary who was redundant. No implications on reputation except that I gained tears points. In mission 3 one of the villages I captured myself, the others I let the orcs take them. No problem on reputation either.
