Finally John has had enough. If he couldn't figure out which of the zombies was the one in charge..he would have to get them all. "Everybody, back to the transport. NOW!" He grabs a couple of the weapons..and sets them to overcharge. There would be a ton of collateral damage, but the squad was all over the place and it was pure chaos. The strange thing is, regardless of where they were the group heard him as if he was standing right next to them.

Danica snapped to as she heard Strongarm's command. Grabbing Helsing by the collar, which certainly caught his attention, she shouted above the incessant noise "Fall back, fly boy! NOW!".

"What? Ah sh-" Helsing ran like hell, smacking a Zombie or two if it got in his way but obviously not caring beyond the fact. If Danica said run, it meant that you couldn't run fast enough.

Carl heard the order and turned back. He saw the others as tiny little specks hurrying toward the transport, and dove toward it, not wanting to wait for whatever plan John was going to hatch. That's when he saw a tall man on a rooftop waving wildly and yelling. Carl didn't recognise him but he didn't look too zombie-like. There was no time to negotiate though, questions would be asked later. With a small whoosh he lifted up the man and flew him, along with himself, back toward the transport. He landed them lightly and turned to watch what exactly John was going to do.

It is mere moments after the group (including Rainbow Demon) had gotten into the transport, when the whole thing is rocked by a very large explosion. The group is tossed about as the transport rolls end over end. The transport had been travelling as fast as it could away from the center of the explosion. It was an armored transport, and it still is in terrible shape.

Danica rubbed her head and realized she seemed to be upside down. Well she was or Helsing was. Dammit it was her. Straightening herself she started to move about the cabin. Several plumes of smoke still lingered and some people were coughing and checking themselves over.
"Role call!!", shouted Danica. "De Popola ....", stopping suddenly and staring at the extra member tucked into a chair with an amused smirk on his face. "Who the hell are you?!".

Danica couldn't suppress a smirk. "Well, hell yeah, we did kinda stink", she thought to herself. Still unable to wipe the amusement from her face, she asked the stranger "and just what experience do you have? What expertise exactly?".

Helsing wasted no time and no profanities. "Oh ****! God ******* Damn it!" Was the most decipherable phrase anyone could get out of him. He also seemed to be inventing new swear words and creative phrases as he went along. "Just when we were about to get out of the God Damn blast radius! Almost, just almost! Two more ****** seconds! ****!"
Examining the damages (he had gotten out of the (what was once a) "Jeep" and was pacing around) and still swearing, he registered that there was someone new near bye, but wasn't really in the mood to pretend that he cared.

Carl heard the newcomer's remark and turned away. Suddenly the transport was a chorus of conversation punctuated by the curses of Helsing outside. Carl tuned out and waited for any new points of interest to arise.

Eventually everybody is back at headquarters. The explosion is already on the evening news, and ... somebody had taken a video of the whole thing. Well, not legitimate video. What is shown is not even close to what really happened. No signs of zombies, no people trying to eat other people..just panicked civilians. In the middle of the panic..the group, with a big focus on Strongarm.
"We take you live to the person responsible for this video..a Harvey Harold. Harvey, some survivors claim that the group in the video was responding to some sort of a zombie breakout. Is there any truth to that?"
The camera goes to a man in military fatigues, clean cut, with a armband that reads AML in big letters. "I was there Wit ((apparently the news persons name)), and I can tell you this. What I witnessed was a bunch of mutants attacking unarmed, panicked civilians. The footage speaks for itself. It was an unprovoked attack." No screaming, articulate, and he doesn't go off on a tirade about 'mutants'. Almost as if this was rehearsed. Was the zombies a trap? Was this the plan all along, to turn people against mutants?
Alex is present, and he sighs. "I am getting a bit tired of the AML. Anybody who has some free time, I want to start taking the fight to them. Find out who they are, where they are, and how to get them out of our hair without turning anymore people against us."

Alex looks tempted. "Might just turn more people against us. No deaths unless absolutely needed. I'd rather get something on them that exposes them for the frauds they are. They are not our only problem, however. We have claims of a ghost like creature in Mexico, a vampire like one in China, and a werewolf one in Ireland. Now I doubt they are anything but our fellow mutants causing mischief but I need volunteers to investigate."
