I got invited long time ago, more as a french representative, even if I played a lot of MP Duels/Arenas tournaments before and after entering in ToH. If there is one thing I, among others, really insisted is the Multiplayer mode and things like replays, simultaneous turns and random race/hero.
How could we (VIPs) imagine issues with custommaps? And regional servers were a huge bad surprise for us as well.
Anyway, as you can guess with all the bugs at the release, there is still a lot of work, the game is probably far from what it will be in X months... Ubisoft and Blackhole just choose to hugely favorise SP rather than MP, and it stands to reason that I'm the first disappointed.

If they wanted to make it single player priority, I wish they had made it single-player friendly (as in easily played/installed offline) like Kings' Bounty.

To be honest, if KB ends up with a multi in KB2, I may start a KB TOH... the game is quite brilliant.

Ves why don't you just start a Heroes 3 TOH tournament again and have people meet up in gameranger.  Everyone knows it was the best in the series and WCL is being ran by a russian.  Have a real cuthroat no bs no idiot honor council to mercilessly take out the trash.  it'll be great for the community.

I shelved my Heroes 6 until Sim turns are released in a patch.. and Player Made Maps are made possible to play.  And both of them things are 100% a Necessity before I load the game again.. and also those 2 fixes need to be included in a FREE patch.  I REFUSE to pay for these to options in an expansion.. Wether you believe it or not..

Same here, i'm very dissapointed. Although, I might invest in a future add-on for tradition sake and to complete my collection (i must admit it's my weakness of all), but i won't dust off the game until all the mandatory multiplayer features will be implemented.

Well unfortunately its for this very reason that companies continue to market there games as they do now.. they know they can make an incomplete game, charge us full price, and then charge us again later for the rest of the game in the name of an add on and most of us trained   monkies will run right out and pay it.

I am sure my 1 voice will not change anything, but I cant see supporting such marketing stunts.  Its bad enough that they make this game 99.8% single player focusing on campaigns... and far to many people go and spend $50 to play those campaigns and listen to the elevator music and feel fulfilled... so UBI has no reason to ever evolve into creating a multi player game as long as all the campaign junkies are keeping them in business.

Complete agree with you Jinxer. I'm feel so bad for pay for this game when its unfinished. For this i dont spend time for play it atm.
Most terrible part is i had option for get it from torrents and play all SP for free 1 week early before i buy it....but decide to support game and pay. Next time i wont pay before "full test" game is working and what i want.

Its good to see that we are still roaming around here, waiting for a playable game... Still hope for us, for ToH. I am still in the mood to play once in a while, but just a few maps can get me going at the moment.

And for some reason i check in here almost every day just to see if something is up

I hadn't really played many Ubisoft games before so I didn't realize it, but if you do your homework, apparently almost everything Ubisoft touches turns to shyte. I'm hoping they get their act together and learn from their mistakes or the Might and Magic franchise gets bought by a diff publisher (by some miracle).

It's really sad that H6, which is by no means a bad game, is ruined because they are prioritizing patching the AI instead of making sure all components of the game at least function properly first (hi multiplayer). Making user-made MP maps playable in MP should be an incredibly fast fix, it's really not that complex. Trying to improve an AI is much harder and would probably take at least 20 times longer, possibly more depending on just how much you want to improve it. Anyone that knows anything about programming would tell you the same.

Also, recently Ubi games always have to have some bs DRM. They need to realize that whatever little they gain from having a DRM or pseudo-DRM is more than negated by how much everyone hates them for including it.

I'm with you Jinxer.. haven't played the game in quite some time, just going to check forums and such every 3-4 weeks to see if they're doing anything to fix MP.

Luckily there's lots of good games on the horizon (and some good ones out right now), I invite anyone to check out paper-rock-shotgun's extensive 2012 game list:

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/01/04/an-exciting-list-of-pc-games-for-2012/ (really long and awesome list)

p.s. I think it's so fitting that the developer for h6 is named "black hole"

Lol... I don't know why you people are so against Heroes 3.  Even Frank said himself it was the best in the series.  A great luck factor was involved but there were ways to counteract the luck WITHOUT CHEATING (you hear that Maretti?).  Bring it back.  Have a TOHEROES.com/Heroes3 tournament.  It's not hard.  Whats the big deal.  I just don't want to play with cheating socialists/communists.  Maretti I hate you.

jinxer?  haaaa... i remember that guy.  he was horrible at being fast.  he always made maps that gave away your opponents position like 7 turns ahead of time so you'd have a week to prepare and get reinforcements while your opponent was stranded beyond chainable heroes.  yeah yeah.  anyway... yo attila hollar at me.  if u cheat or quit during our games i'll kill u.

Your comment make me smile

You should know Jinxer grow and evolve a lot past few years. Now he made map in Heroes 5 where he can see you and all your movements from day 1 but still you can catch him unprepared again
