Ivor searches the bodies of the dead soldiers for a blade or two (just incase) and a shiny pair of un-ruined boots. Then he Joined Tanis in the feasting, though the smell and the sight chipped heavily at his appetite.

Whoever did this wold pay. They would pay dearly. I he had to hunt them down, if he had to cast down a kingdom, these monsters would pay for their crimes. Just let them try to beg for mercy... he would show them the mercy they had shown these innocents.
Raistlin would be at the docks in the morning.

After finding nothing of worth journeying to the capitol, Kerym heads to the water. He decides to swim around, attempt to catch a fish or two, find some wood to be chopped, and build a fire, should said fish be caught. If fishing would be a failure, finding food elsewhere, saving rations for later, would then be attempted.
After eating, Kerym feels it time to get some rest. He finds a place to set up his tent and bedroll. He sits upon the roll, and morning is soon to come.
Kerym packs up, does his morning meditation, and heads for the docks that were mentioned the day before.

Tanis is at the dock before sunrise. Its cold and she wraps a light shawl around her. She watches in motionless silence as the dawn breaks above the water, sending a warm amber glow melting over the gently lapping waves. For a few moments the color of the dawn reminds of her youth growing up in the desert wastelands, how within seconds the heat from the sun would almost ignite its surroundings forcing her people underground during the day.
She hardly ever thought about her family and she didn't think of them now.
She heard movement. She already recognised the footsteps.

((For those who go with McCade))
It is not a far trip, less then four hours. The group arrives at the island, which has been untouched by the devastation. He lands at a fishing village, which would be good to resupply at. The fact that it was not far from where the druids can be found. However, he does not have to go searching for them, one of the druids is already in town.
It is rare druids come to a town for anything, being pretty self sufficient..so the druid must be looking for something that is not easily obtained.
The druid knows nothing of the attack, but getting the details says "There is one group of Druids that might be responsible. The followers of Yenir, a god of decay and death, could be capable of it. A lot of them also practice necromancy. If they somehow have combined the two..it could be bad for all. You can find them in the heart of the Camir Jungle. It is a perilous and dangerous journey. They might need the souls to try to summon Yenir himself."

((Alas, Envoy Pasdenom, we hardly knew ye.  ))
Not being much of a hunter, Aleron spent most of the rest of the day cleansing equipment ((Prestidigitation)), performing minor spellcasting ((Sepia Snake on a spare sheet of parchment)) and more major divinations ((Contact Other Plane)).
In the morning he made his way down to the docks to join McCade. He felt saddened by the scope of the attack, but not as devastated as perhaps he should have been: given the breadth of the devastation so far, he guessed that his father’s barony on the opposite border had probably been wiped out as well. But though he would miss the old man, that wasn’t why he went. He joined simply because there wasn’t much point in doing otherwise; whoever or whatever had slaughtered Marik’s inhabitants had already proven themselves willing to threaten him directly, and he had no real prospects outside of the kingdom.
((If we split up after we leave the boat, I’ll cast Lesser Telepathic Bond on McCade and tell him so.))

Kerym goes off to purchase another spade when they arrive. He didn't expect them to stay in the village long, and wanted to take the chance as it was available to him. While he was out, he went off to get a couple bolas, and replacement bullets for his sling too. Soon, he came back. He had missed the conversation with the druid, and was slightly wondering what was going on. He approached one of the others, asking that person about the current goings on.

Tanis had remained silent on the journey to the island. The fishing village wasn't exactly a hive of activity, but there were people at least. Tanis checked her supplies and ensured she was well stocked up with ingredients.
She listened to McCade talk to the elderly druid. She wasn't totally satisfied that the druid knew nothing of the attacks. Something about his body language didn't ring true. She found it unlikely that the druids were cut off from information regarding a sinister druidic practice. She had heard of Yenir from her grandmother, who had told her of midnight sacrifices of innocents and dark monsters. However, she kept her thoughts to herself.
She turned to McCade and whispered, "Don't you think you should warn the villagers. Keep them on their guard, keep them vigilant".

He nods at Tanis "That is a good idea." then he motions Aleron over.
"Get a message to everybody here. Get equipment for a journey into deep forest. Also, tell them not to get too comfortable. I am booking a ship as soon as I can get one. We leave at the first opportunity..and it is a rather longer journey." If Aleron agrees to that he turns to Tanis, "I will go talk to the elders of the village now." Which he sets off to do immediately.

Tanis joins McCade and follows him to the Elder's Hall. She had already made the decision to watch the Elder's closely and this was the perfect opportunity. The fact that this little island idyll had survived the annihilation they witnessed yesterday, was just too fortuitous.
And Tanis didn't believe in luck.

Vaishvilk felt uneasy. Yesterday he witnessed complete annihilation of a border village. today he saw an idyllic life on a druid island. he couldn't figured out how they evaded the destruction and thought are the other settlements destroyed just as the one they saw last night.
- I don't like this one bit- He said more to himself than to any of his companions.

Ivor was enjoying the local tavern and news while waiting for the Captains signal to move out. He fell asleep into his beer and some noobs stole his purse full of gold  . (he's still sleeping btw and unaware of that)

Heh, local cut-purses indeed. Little more than inexperienced foot pads. He couldn't believe that any self-respecting thieves guild would allow these men to operate in the same city as them. Didn't even know when they were being stolen from. Tossing the bag of gold in the air, Raistlin put it back on Ivor's belt. Drunk off his rump fool, taking all his gold with him everywhere he went... someone had to watch his back. And someone had to wake him up. "Hey, Ivor." Raistlin shook the sleeping man's shoulder a bit, "Time to wake up. We're moving out." The rest (like preparing for a woodsland expedition), would come after the man had been sufficiently sobered...

Aleron nodded and passed the orders on via Message, moving around town as necessary to get the remainder of the entourage in ((the 100’+10’/level)) range. While he was out and about, he also stopped by the inn to inquire as to what drinks were on offer ((not sure how much I have to spend since I haven’t bought my starting equipment yet but it can’t hurt to ask)) and investigated any other areas of potential interest.

McCade meets with the elders, who he informs of the destruction that occurred in mainland. The surprise they express is real, and they offer whatever aid they can give. He thanks them, not having much more to add, looking at the person who went with him.

Tanis finds the elders shocked response truthful. The news also terrified them and their fear was palpable.
After McCade had finished, Tanis decided to add, "You need to look at the possibly moving to safer ground, maybe within the forests. And more importantly you need to ensure that any stone circles that may appear are immediately destroyed. Fire should do".
As Tanis and McCade were about to leave the Elders, she asked, "
What soldiers or warriors does this village have?".

Kerym decides to explore the area just outside of town to see what is around. He had previously explored parts of this island, including this village, but there might be new sights to see around here now.

The elders think. "Very few, and most of the ones we have are retired. The druids here have protected us for longer then even we have been alive. They are worshipers of LeLune, the moon goddess, who most fishermen worship as well." Since the town is a fishing village, most of its people probably worship either a moon or water god..or both.
((Will edit if there is anything else anybody wants to know or do))
Twenty LONG days later the ship lays anchor on a deserted beach on another continent. With fishing and the ships own food supply, the group has just as much food as they left with. Past the beach is a huge forest, and it is several days..if not several weeks journey to the heart where these dark druids are supposed to be. McCade, still not liking the idea of being 'in charge' asks for volunteers. He will need a couple of scouts, and a couple of people to watch the rear. The rest will need to watch for anything coming from the sides that the scouts and guards might miss.
Edit:
It is a quiet fishing village, so there is little to see unfortunately.
Meanwhile Aleron has not yet gotten a response from the spell..either nobody is listening, or nobody knows..which is never a good sign either way.

The journey had been uneventful, apart from several members suffering bouts of sea sickness, which had somewhat amused Tanis. She had spent most of her time by herself, as usual, preparing her own meals and eating them alone.
She had listened to the groups plans. McCade seemed beaten down by the responsibility of leading at times, but the other members tried to bolster him with humor and support. As usual, Tanis kept well away from these moments of human bonding, making herself scarce in case she was included.
Tanis was highly relieved when the ship weighed anchor and they disembarked for the cold, deserted beach. No signs of life could be seen and the tree line seemed ominous and forboding. Tanis impatiently volunteered to go deep within the forest to find the dark druids. And as the others debated who should do what, Tanis grew even more impatient and finally turned to the group and said, "As we aren't exactly flush with soldiers, it might prove to be a good idea to stay together, apart from occasionally sending ahead a scout", looking at Raistlin and Ivor. "I think we should go quickly, instead of hanging around here on the beach. We have no idea if we are being watched right now. We really should get moving".
