So I installed Phoenix into my HOMM3 directory. Nothing appears in my era mod manager. When I launch the game and start a new game nothing appears to have changed. I'm pretty confused. What did I do wrong?

Where is located? Should be something like C:\Program Files\3DO\ERA\Mods\Phoenix. Show your Phoenix folder settings.

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete
So I should uninstall and reinstall it directly into the mod folder?
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete\Mods
I don't have a folder that says era.

No man, doesn't matter. Just open your phoenix folder and paste here the address it is located, like I did. Some names will differ, I only want to know if mod is installed properly.

I have no folder anywhere called Phoenix. When I installed it the only thing I remember noticing is that it put a manual in my help folder.

Extract it on your desktop then move Phoenix folder in Mods folder, then activate it using mod manager. If have win 7 or higher, move the whole game out from program files.

Is anybody know how to turn it off since i wanna play on the map named "To Kill For Power", but i am unable since the starting army i can recruit for the 5k gold is not enough, but the original maked 1 devil is deleted by the mod.
And how i can get the phoenix menu ?

In no way phoenix mod can be compatible with well known and balanced SoD maps. Only random or maps designed for this mod especially.

To kill for power is a WoG map. Do you know any solution about the "starting army"?

No man, to kill for power is a famous sod map, by Tang Wen. You can' use Phoenix mod and finish such maps, PM changes a lot more than only the starting army, it changes the monsters on map, AI heroes skills, stats, garrisons, it will be simply unplayable.

Hi, I have ERA II with some mods: phoenix, HoL 3.1, Yona, fast animations, new inteface. The thing is that Phoenix crashes sometimes with no reason, the same for HoL 3.1
Any sugestions?

NPaul : Are Hol 3.1 and Phoenix both enabled ? You have to play either one of them, otherwise they will conflict with one another.

No, they are not both enabled, so, what can it be? Could it be an upgrade for ERA, or maybe Yona ?

Try a fresh clean install,
First H3 complete or SoD, then ERA II, then the mods.
Should work.

Recently started playing WOG again, and of course this mod is now my default configuration for the game. But now I have problem that I don't remember I had earlier. My economist skill is not working! During my last session I clearly remember it worked fine. Now keeping economist in town don't give me any extra money. I used mod default settings and changed only settings regarding map objects and artifacts. Again it worked perfect when I last played couple of months ago.
edit: I also discoverd two new problems. Right click on budget doesn't give me hero income report. Just a small empty text box appears. Also selling artifacts from backpack throws my finances into crazy negative number even if I confirm with mouse click.
Everything else seems to work fine. I remember I did clean installation back then. Could it be the WOG settings, map maybe, or should I tray to reinstall the mod? I am playing mostly custom multiplayer, non WOG maps.

I now see that I have older ERA version installed. First I'll try with new version and report if the problems are still there.
