Ok no help, the problem with economist is still there.
I installed:
1. Hmm3 Complete (into C: )
2. Era II 2.46
3. Phoenix mod 3.61
4. Phoenix long live the mines
4. Load settings for Phoenix

From what I see it works well: the economist has to be in town's garrison, not visitor.

It works now! Ok that was stupid of me Thank you!
The problem with right click on budget icon is still there. Or I'm again doing something wrong?
I also tested selling artifact from my backpack. Sometimes it's working sometimes not. But I guess I can live without that.

I am not sure if right-click on that icon should display something, left-click on it works fine.

The manual says right clicking it, gives heroes income report, even the tool tip says so. But it realy isn't that important. Thank you again for your help with economist skill. I realy needed that money

Sorry no luck, I followed your instructions but problems remain. But I managed to fix artifact selling by installing Master Craft mod. It gives option to trade item for res. or sell it for gold, and it works perfect.
Btw is this mod still in development? It is bay far the best mod for Hmm3. I come back to playing hmm3 only because of this mod.

Hmm, Master of Craft uses exactly same ID's as Phoenix, I don't see how they can run together, also Master of Craft is very unbalanced, I made it for fun. With relics craft, you can go to 125 stats in no time.

Press F12 to apply changes to existing game. Strange, that it didn't work.
Thank you for kind words about the mod.
Phoenix is not developed for long time already, but local Russian version 3.64+ is much more better than the English 3.63. Unfortunately, the translation process is not convenient and there is not enough time for it. Possibly something will change in the future.

Where can I get English 3.63? I downloaded 3.61. version from Era mods list, thought it was the latest eng version.
@Salamndre, I installed MC with priority over Phoneix. And strangely it works fine. I can refuse to sell item for res, and then I get phoenix option to sell it for money. And now it works fine, tested it couple of times.
@Bersey I will try to install fix again but I am sure I did it right. I used it with new game to be sure. Can WOG settings be the problem? I used default Phonenix settings and only changed couple of scripts, mostly removed map objects and artifacts. Is the problem with me having 3.61 version?

Yep, this I was saying, Master of Craft and Phoenix will generate same action on ctrl+left click, propose to sell artifact, thus you can cheat by accepting both and not sure what's going when refusing one (flag 1 is set to negative for both?).
I updated today Master of Craft, adding user selection about max skill value for relics craft, to prevent ridiculous outcomes.

Who wants to cheat will always find the way, not my cup of tea. I just think this feature is good for quickly getting rid of unnecesary items, and getting some small income for it. Using item for skill improvement does sound a little bit cheesy, so I wont be using it for this.
Ok I tested it right now, you can't use feature twice. If you sell item for res. you don't get second option from phoenix, only if you refuse first question. Another cheesy thing about it is that you can click multiple times until you get res. that you want.
Also, can you please give me some info about mod versions, little confused with this 3.63.

Don't know, we have a very "wise" rule in this forum, which prevents the author of a thread to update main post if older than one year. So, if a new version was released, it is linked in one of the 14 pages...or not.

Is not cheesy, this is how Master of Craft is working. It generates a random resource at every click, so you can click multiple times until you get the resource you are looking for.

Oh sorry! English last version was truly 3.61, so old
Russian 3.63
3.64 was not released officially. Only Bes and me have it (a few radical changes + Bes wanted to add some new graphics = long waiting ).
I hope once we have a bit better scripting engine over ERM, the mod can be rewritten and translated using Salamandre's foundation.

Even this old version is the best incarnation of any HOMM game imho. Because core mechanics are so well thought of. One of my favourite is boosting HP and defense of creatures, makes battles so much more balanced.
Only problem that remains is the ''big numbers problem''. By that I mean that game/battles go crazy when you amass wast numbers of creatures, old homm problem. I wonder how no one thought about some clever mechanic to prevent creature spamm. Battles are much more interesting when smaller numbers are on the field.
Anyway, hope to see new versions in english one day. Good luck with your future work.

I also like to play with low size armies, in fact army payment was introduced for the same purpose. You probably play on the "Novice" Phoenix level, where wages are not high.

Hi, have I Phoenix mod 3.61 installed over ERA II, it crashes sometimes, I decided to try to fix it myself though I know nothing about this. I have a question, what tool should I use to fix the erm bugs that occur?
Another question, if I install Phoenix mod 3.63, can these bugs disappear?

I did in the beginning but very fast I mastered the mod features, and started playing on veteran with ironman mode. I usualy play on XL maps so that I have time to build up.
Another great thing about this mod is that now you can play any regular map without boosting AI in map editor, or even teaming up AI against yourself.
For me best experience with phoenix mod is playing well designed and balanced MP, free for all, maps. But you must play it defensively. Tactics + Healing is a must in the beginning if you want to survive in phoenix mod world.
Regarding lowering creature numbers I always had some ideas, like maybe reducing growth, and boosting cost. Maybe even adding more resource dependent creatures, not just level 7 ones. I also always thought that town building should be slower and more expensive. Generaly I always wanted homm3 with more harsh enviroment and more demanding economy, making your every decision important, and every unit precious.
This is why I like PM so much it makes game more balanced, strategic and more demanding. I myself never had time or patience to try to implement this ideas into the game.
