Bludgeon's Expansions - Fortress

Since it is a fun thing to do, I will be trying my best at several factions I’d like to see in H6. Since sylvan, academy and dungeon are most likely to appear officially, I’m gonna concentrate on less likely candidates. Without further ado, my first proposal:

FORTRESS
The fortress from heroes III comes back! The faction gravitates around lizardmen and their hot swampy civilization.

Faction skill: Engulf. Racial gauge fills constantly, unaffected by player's actions. Activate ability to turn part of the battlefield into a swamp for the rest of combat. Swamp terrain gives fortress units defense and morale bonuses while slowing down opposition.

Might hero - beast rider
Magic hero - witch doctor

Core Units
  Salamander - melee (small, walker)
  Cockatrice - melee (small, flyer)
  Lizardman Healer - support (small, walker)

Elite Units
  Talon Rider - melee (large, fast walker)
  Couatl - support (large, caster, flyer)
  Troll - melee (small, walker)

Champion Units
  Hydra - melee  (large, walker)

I can say many things about this and I hope that you do not interprate this the wrong way.
First let me start by saying that I will advocate and praise a new Lizardmen/Swamp faction anywhere and anytime and that I pray to the Dragongods for it's return.
First however, it will not be called Fortress, as the Dwarves have taken that name.
Second, with only two units actually being Lizardmen (Salamander is debateable) there is no main-race. And one race making up the overall majority of the sentient creatures of a faction is the basic staple of a racial-faction these days. And reptilian/swamp is, IMHO, not enough a  base for a thematic faction. Even without any lore information, it already misses the template.
Thirdly, while you've struck a nice balance in the core tier (judging from what little information there is), I have more doubts about the elite tier. Also, and people will likely disagree with me on this, but there is no caster-role anymore in heroes 6.
Now you may do with my comments what you whish. In my personal projects, I have often ignored the cries that it gravitates to much towards the Ubisoft/Ashan-template.
