We need multiplayer for this game and community to survive. To me it seems that patch 1.2 MIGHT fix most of the single player issues but the multiplayer problems remain. As long as the following are not included, the game will die slowly but surely:
-possibility to play user created maps in multiplayer
-as it is safe to assume that the big number of copies of Heroes 6 has already been sold, removing the crap with different servers for different markets is one big step in the good direction
-random map generator
-simultaneous turns

It is crucial to have user created maps available in multiplayer and possibility for players to play between themselves no matter the geographic localization ASAP.

PS: Can the insiders (Cepheus, Elvin, JJ) comment on these aspects?

I'm sure that is covered by "- Major bug fixes (Week of the Plague, Dynasty weapons, unit abilities, scripts, localization)

Don't hold your breath. I'm sure none of these are in this patch. This patch's aim is to fix the game breaking bugs. After all the bugs are fixed can we see multi-player fixes and nice additions to the game like the ones you have mentioned. The reason is without those your multi-player game will also be a broken game. i.e a unit ability's not working at all is a much more immediate problem than the inability to play custom maps on mp, as that ability still won't work on a custom map. Those kind of basic things that construct the game must be fixed first.

You can bet we've barked about all of them, but it's in Ubihole's court now. None of them will be amended in 1.2, I can assure you of that. The inability to play maps in multiplayer is easily the most acrimonious issue and I burst a blood vessel when I heard about it. I mean, even H5 didn't suffer from that problem.

The patch is already released for the Chinese version.  I downloaded and installed it 2 days ago. (the game now displays version 1.2) Someone here mentioned the site had been taken off yesterday. (didnt confirm)  But anyone that downloaded the patch when it first became available can play 1.2

I can confirm some of the bugs fixed in the game are.

1  The 4 bugged achievement (champion, hero, grand champion and grand hero) can all be unlocked now.  I just started a new Necro Campaign with a custom hero, and got all 4 achievement when completing first mission.  Seems the game already remembers your feats if you have done it in the 1.1.1 patch, which is why I dont need to play the whole campaign to unlock all 4.

2 Human special building 1 that gives u 1 racial point at beginning of combat is working now.

3 Destiny is working, a lucky strike will always work and the damage will be in red.

Just started human campaign 1, didnt test whether imperial griffin dive works now, will try tonight.

some of the things that didnt get fixed are:

1  voice is still squeaky if u adjusted the combat speed.

2  the multiple artifact picking up is still there (maybe its good lol)

They also rebalanced some dynasty weapon it seems.  Staff of the tides specialty call of the depth only does 50 damage to all creatures insteald of 230 before the patch, but its last skill which absorbs damage for the first 4 turns is working now.  It absorbs around 250 damage to all ur creatures for 4 turns.

Let me know if u want me to test anything, am at work now, so probably will test tonight.

It would be cruel to ask you to test things as I have a 6 wordpad pages long buglist ready to go to the new patch tread. You can just share the fixes you come along while playing. But I can say I'm disappointed about that combat speed- unit voice thing. That is a major bug.

The achievement "Terminator" was also bugged btw. But I don't think they are even aware of that.

Nah no achievement is bugged in 1.1.1 except for the 4 mentioned above.

For the achievement terminator (which I think is to kill all creeps, my version is Chinese thus everything is in Chinese, including achievements), you can not get the achievement if you play in campaign, as the creatures in the colisium will never disappear, and they for some reason are counted as creeps.

to get this achievement, play the first map, the small one with only a bridge there.  Kill all neutrals (dont let them retreat, u have to kill them) and the achievement should unlock, if u pick up every resources, u should also get the resource for picking up everything.

The only 2 achieveemnt I dont have is the one where u need to spend 100000 mana (I auto combat most things now, and it doesnt count mana spent there  also the pick up 10000 things from map (current on 8000 lol)

That's why it is bugged But thanks for that 1st map advice. I actually remember thinking about doing that, and now realised I've totally forgotten it.

You are speaking as if it would be such a hard task to replay the first map and just not chose a specialization, and pick tears in the quest in the second map.
