Woah that's like ... 75 % discount. Maybe I should take the opportunity.

IMPORTANT:
I will not advice anybody to buy this game - or any other game - through Green Man Gaming. Their games have to be run through a special program called Capsule (and equivalent of Steam) and the game can't be updated. This is an error that have been reported on the GMG forums several months ago, and is still happening - I can confirm that, because I bought the game yesterday, and I'm still stuck with version 1.0.0.

Fortunately, I have no urgent need to play the game before town screens are implemented, and I got it very cheaply, but if the game can't be patched, the game is not worth anything.

well ubisoft sold less copies of h6 (guess why), so it was obvious that they will grant discounts.

At that price, the game is ok.

Mind you, I sacrified my money (80 € !) to get Heroes 6 retail deluxe whereas I wanted Skyrim too.

Guess what... wrong choice. Skyrim collector is now around 130 € and the game itself is one of the best rpg ever...

Skyrim? one of the best RPGs ever? Realy?
Seen better slash animations in dark messiah 3 yers ago. And the last time I felt chalanged by an RPG was when I Played MaM I last year.

Skyrim has good graphics (what doesn't at it's curent time) and a large world, but it see it as highly overated.

Yep, really.

It's the first time People can clock it at 100+ hours and not even feel bored of it, or not even starting the main quest.
The Radiant quest allows for random generated quests.

But to each his tastes.

Done that with MaM VI 10 years ago. And not talking about older games that didn't hold your hand to find the way.

Ohh man, that where good old times. Skyrim is great, but nothing new. And about the cost of heroes, it is worth to buy the game for that price. But they lowered the cost really fast.

Might & Magic VI took me more than 150 hours to complete and it's actually among the shorter M&Ms... Youngsters these days are too used to games with 10-20 hours of gameplay and get excited too easily.

Of course because people have shorter attention span due to the video games sector being 5-10 times bigger (idk exactly watch for the numbers) than the 90's era.. which involves producing 5-10 more games... including amazing indie developers. Everything is linked.

I myself used to focus on a single game back then, but now with solid games at around 0-5 € everywhere, you can become bored pretty quickly (esp. if you got Steam & know the cheap places).

Get it!
People are really overreacting on how "terrible" the game is. A lot of people that give it like 1/5 havn't even played the actual game save for the demo.

"Some" people on this forum do NOTHING but complain about the game.

Oh, so you mean like Pokemon? Seriously, 300+ hours isn't all that rare...

Now I want to actually buy the game so that I can see what this little infant is like and how it can be improved to fit my personal tastes, something I would probably talk about and people would give me a "The Fuuuuu-?" look. My head is a strange place, my friends, a strange place indeed. Unfortunately, the S&H wold drive the cost higher than what I could get at Target, so I'ma have to refuse.

English not being my first language, idk if this post is ironic.

From what I understood, you would like to give Skyrim a chance ? You should buy it on any UK websites (thehut one of the cheapest or amazon.co.uk).

Don't ask me why, Skyrim is clearly cheaper in the UK than anywhere else, altho it's an US game...

skyrim's plot was pretty weak

the main plot was like DRAGONS ARE DESTROYING THE WORLD AND YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN STOP THEM! FUS-ROH-DAH!!11111

the entire civil war was also really weak
you capture like 2 towns and fort and then the war is over lol

I got it.

On the downside, I was forced to download and manage the game through another service than Steam (called Capsule), and while I have no love for Steam, at least it would be nice to have things collected one place. In fact, I would have prefered a physical copy, just because it's nice to have something to go back to if the software gets messed up.

... the same game which was 50 + € at retail !

Now it's fixed and for 9.99 £ it's definitely a good game. But was it worth it at retail price ? Nah.
