Interesting thread....
Ive been playing heroes online now for 4 years...
The first person who ever offered a reload was Zud, and that was like at the end of year 2.
Since then, i will offer any reloads, to anyone that I know.
The only times I wont offer reloads is if we agree upon setting up rules before game starts, and secondly, if the opponenent suicided on attacking a main neutral army.

Honorable play to me means to abide by the rules that were agreed upon prior to the start of the game. That is all.
When I play against friends, and they suicide against a crypt or lose too much because of sloppy play, I will offer a reload to keep the game competitive. I really don't like fighting my main end fight agaisnt an opponent that suicided 1/2 or more of their army against the AI because of not concentrating. I wouldn't expect the same in return and don't think this has anything to do with honor...I only do it because I value the time I spend on a game, and a good end fight (win or lose) makes all the time spent worth while

I donīt know why it is such a big deal to make a reload. To have an endfight with an opponent who has only 8 pikemen isnīt very interesting. Would be the same when it comes to the endfight after 6 hours of playing and then opponent drops. I donīt know how often i gave a reload, but i never refused it so far..not in a fun nor in a tourney game....even in tribes final games...why not?
Sometimes my opponent didnīt ask for a reload, he just said "oooops, these hordes are 97...that could really hurt"...and then i said "kill them if u can, if not, we load my auto".
Sometimes a whole game could be decided coz of ONE single moral bonus in a fight. When u fight angel dwelling day 7, no slow and the 3 angels get moral first turn...instead of having 6 angels day 8, u have only 2...and that could make a hugh difference. If that happens to my opponent, i would always give that reload. Sure u can say "He could have waited until day 8 to flagg that dwell"....but isnīt a level 7 dwelling supposed to be flagged latest day 7?...
Believe me, u will enjoy the game much more if always imagine the current game is a "fun" and not a tourney game...takes away the pressure of some guys...

If you expect to get a reload if you suicide you can take some huge chances that will make your position better if it goes well and wont hurt you if it goes wrong because you can just get the reload.

so, when you make FINAL battle and you got 3 morals?! lets reload again then hehehe
come on
if you play 6 hours and if you want too much - load and finish this game for fun, but accept your loss like a player and ask for what you want after this!
no matter what is the reason for reload, if you going to ask for somestuff and you get it - later you will ask for reload for all what you want
its not too good i think

HAHA nice thread,I give relaods too a few including bossbo as he will do same for me,but we play fair toward each other, as many do not.however it is a tournament,and if u do give a reload dont whine about losing because of it,the_castrated yall remeber him im sure,here was his method,hey man can i have a relaod we will keep playing and i will report a loss,if i win the game i report a win if i lose i'll report another lol,he was a master of suicides btw.bp

wow... so freaking old history.
Could you believe that Boss (R.I.P.) and I had more than 50 games (more than half of which were GW ) against each other without any problems and re/loading at least 2-3 times every game (becuz of minotaurs getting morale ) after this incident.

In theory things are simple - we all are Heroes series fun's, TOH are good meeting place for Heroes series lovers, so players play the game, enjoy it and are happy
In practice things are little bit more complicated, here is not only fun from game, but also fight for ranking position, points rush, unhappiness from heavy looses, different setup preference, different understanding of honor. Look how match fire, how match negative emotions are even in this old topic.
I think the best way is to play the game the way you like, with people you like. Get less attention to looses, conflicts etc ... If someone is dishonorable stop playing with this person. No need topics about this, no need administration to be involved ... This cost a lot of time and nerves, better play with other persons with compatible behavior more nice games that you will remember over the years as good experience.
I think TOH was build to help people to meet together and get fun from our beloved game. So let's use this sacred place in the proper way
