A pretty large battle (url address link)

I just had a battle in which I gained 178690 exp points.
here is an address link to jpeg of battle stats.

I had the undead, what you see as the battlefield casualties on my side was about 1/2 of my total force.

I hope that's like the last battle since it seemed that you also suffered major losses too?

Thanks,

I think I was playing the shadows of death expansion.
I had to build myself up because my opponent had the shackles of war and the recanters cloak.

My opponent just kept building up 1 hero. it took a lot of time i forget what week I was in, but I know it was up there.

God. Having a battle like that without cheating is really amazing (you didn't cheat did you?). What was roughly your initial army?

  Greetings Shadow_Phoenix,

No cheating, just a lot of running from the opponent hero with the huge army. I played it on the hard level which made it easy for the opponent to build up a huge army. Thank God the hero did not have the luxary of town portal and dimension door. Without these two spells I would have failed in building up my army without a doubt. What you see in the link was a little more than 1/2 my army. the battle lasted about 20 minutes.

It is easy too see that you made a photo and not a screenshot.

But is there a way of making screenshots in H3 ?

I made also a pretty good battle 2 years ago. It's about 6000 archdevils the computer had. Without cheating actually.

When in game press "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. Open some program like Paint and paste it there, simple as that.

A favorite map of mine is The Lord of War by Gwenwyfar.
I think the very first battle you have 30 Ancient Behemoths, and the final enemy had over 4000 Arch Angels on mine.

Yes, a challenging map. The only thing is that it should disable necropolis otherwise it's too unbalancing. With necro, you can beat the map easily in 3 months game time.

Thunder I don't think we are talking about the same map.  In the Lord of War I played you were Leondegrance and you started with 3 Strongholds.

Yes, we are talking about the same map.

Yep, the player did start with Leondegrance, a battlemage with all 8 skills set by map maker and start with 3 strongholds handicapped in building and later on everything will be built by events. In the original version (the version I play), you got two utopias in several days travel but these got deleted in later version coz it will ruin the game if you got something like earth tomb/air tomb/wizard hat......

I play this map for 2 times. First time I stick to Leondegrance and it's very tough especially there are a lot of ambushes (at least 2 ~ 3 ambushes in every enemy territory you conquer) and you got to save/load quite a lot. With stronghold and not enough magic support, I suffer heavy losses in early battles vs first opponent (fortress). Everything is in legions and this is the first map that I got 5 ramparts in mid-game and cash still is a problem.

The 2nd time I play, I pick a necro hero on purpose to see how fast can I beat the map (by hiring and dismissing heroes in tavern) and I got Isra!
After the early battles (especially the one vs a legion of dendroids guarding a wood pile), Isra is 15+ in levels. Then everything is a piece of cake. Just use Isra to fight wandering monsters and Leondegrance to fight enemy heroes. And after I combined the artifact, Cloak of Undead King, I just stop playing coz it's pointless to play with 3 stacks of 10K+ liches.

Oh, I see.  I never thought of doing that.  In the latest version the Utopias are back in and the map is for AB.  Azures are gaurding a few things

Well i don't remember what map or anything like that, but essentially for whatever reason their were about 7 Necropolis's all over the map, my hero had gloves/boots and expert logistics. And i had a sick ammount of money, so i just town hopped hiring all the units i could from the necros'... by the end i had a decent army.  But the power came in from my 2 stacks of about 10-15k skellies .. so having 30k kinda helps   but i don't remember the rest of my army.
