Here is the link to the original thread. In one of the pages there's the new script.

Here is a download link so that you won't have to search the entire thread. As i said this script works better because it supports creature banks battlefields etc. I think it has to replace the old one but it's your call.

You don't understand me I have Complete version + ERA II on it, but when I start the game (via Era Start Menu), it loads only heroes without any mods

You mean it does not load wog? Start menu, do you see wog options or only original Heroes III? Start a random map, do you have commander icon in hero screen?

There are two icons in mods manager, one on left starts wog, the one on right starts Heroes. Click left.

Clicked left icon, no commander menu, no wog options, nothing . I try to reinstall it later and then post.

So after reinstall I can't even start the game via era menu.
I'll download english version and repeat.

P.S. Are thre any special rules of installing ERA II?

I have a question to ERA modders:
Is it possible somehow to turn on the intro display at game start?

Now by saying "intro" I have in mind the Katherine story intro - not the 3DO/NWC logos.

Effectively I would like to have a mod with an intro displayed in the same format as the original H3 RoE/AB/Chronicles intros.

PS. thanks for the "New Upgrades" conversion

A lot of videos can be used on DL, I did it already in TEW. Not sure about campaigns, needs testing one by one. But I would say yes

Greetings.
I didn't find the exact way how WoG disables showing H3Intro.smk, but you can make smk-video and include mod.vid with new azvs.smk inside. I just tested with the above-mentioned video:

About "New Upgrades". The hardest work was to find out each change in exe file. It resulted in the following script:

I got it! Even without that fix. I copied entire content of folder \Heroes 3 Complete\_Install_\Root (created after ERA II installation) to COmplete directory and it works now!
Maybe it was some defect of installation.

Yes, I know about that, however this is not what I want. I would like the video "frame" to show up, as well as the video to be played after the first two intros.

But thanks for answering anyway.

Just for the record - it's not WoG that disabled showing H3Intro.smk, but SoD. The WoG file was based on SoD 3.2 - if I recall correctly - that also didn't play the intro file. The RoE, AB and Complete versions did though. The most interesting for me is the case of Heroes Chronicles 5 and 6 (The Worldtree and The Fiery Moon) that play the intro file directly from the drive, not searching for one on a CD.

And about the script - I guess that would be it in ERM. I changed the exe, as I wanted New Upgrades to be also playable without WoGify - the creatures wouldn't have all of their abilities (as some are added through stack experience), but the game wouldn't crash when e.g. a creature that in wog was a shooter got to the non-existing shooting animation in New Upgrades.

It's possible to use some Fnord's scripts with ERA II?

qoty, the installer didn't work because you didn't run it as administrator on Windows 7. Next time try please to install the game on disk D.

It's probably possible if Fnord's scripts are compatible with WoG 3.58f scripts. Do you have the link?

And here is the link to the topic of mentioned Fnord's scripts: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=36789
Where I should put them?

Meanwhile I copied them into \Heroes 3 Complete\Mods\WoG\Data\s and they worked well without any crash (so far).
