it's just a guess but turning off hd mod's improved gameplay and autofix map features may solve your problems.

Yes, turn off AutofixMap fixed my problem, but it's still bug and would be great to fix it

Sure. baratorch can easily fix problems introduced by HD. How do you expect me to do the same in Era?

Spy bug?
Hi! I found a strange behavior when i infiltrate a spy into a city. I chose sabotage building and i destroyed the enemy capitol. In the enemy city the building disappeared and there is no town hall and city hall. After a day i try to destroy another building and the town hall was destroyed. But in the enemy city there is no town hall in the castle screen. It is strange, the city hall remains but the place is empty, and the enemy can not build any buildings. And after i destroyed the griffin tower and then the upgrade of the griffin tower, but in the first day of the week, the enemy still could recruit royal griffins.
I have a save game if you want. I played in hot seat.

Runtime Error
Era 2 worked fine on my old computer with Win7 home premium 64 bits,but is doesn't work on my new computer Win7 Ultimate 34 bits,it says "Runtime Error 216 at 0037B02".What causes it and how can I make it work?Thanks in advance

Look in the right lower corner of the screenshot and you will se 0 ghosts in my army. This happened when I took the Death Chamber and it gave me money, mythril and... 0 ghosts that occupy a slot in my army. It's very curious.

1. Be sure you have 2.4 version.
2. Be sure that DEP is off.
3. Be sure that you run h3era.exe with NO compatibility settings.
If it still fails, change heroes3.ini (Debug=1) and upload eralog.txt after game run.

@Khadras, spy sabotage mission are randomly picked among the existing buildings, so loading your save gave different results here. It looks like the script has to be reviewed seriously, because I also got impossible situations, as all buildings required to be able to build further vanishing.

Note to people who may not be used to making multiple WoG mod installations: if you have a Heroes 3 SoD or Complete folder installed, you should copy it (the whole folder - copy and paste in Windows Explorer) before installing WoG or Era or MoP or whatever - that way you have a backup to recopy and try again with if anything goes wrong.
Under Windows 7 or higher (and I'm assuming no one still has Vista), I recommend pasting the copy into "My Documents" because "Program Files" is highly securitized under W7 and W7 doesn't like programs which try to write their data into it (such as game saves).
In my experience, multiple copies of Heroes 3 work fine. I have even run one from a flash drive. I usually start on a new computer by installing RoE/AB/SoD from my three CD's (once), but don't think that is necessary. I have an 8GB flash drive with SoD, WoG 3.58f, and Era 2 folders on it, and I think that is all I need (and a thermos).

ok, here's a saved game of a bug i run into quite often, error massage saying AI has -XXX gold. just end turn.
i'm not sure if this is a bug or caused by rampart's treasury, maybe you'll know how to decide that.

How to get work Era on Win 7. My heroes 3 version is Complete and works witout problems, only era don't work.

Perhaps your problem is that under Era each "mod" has its own archive, h3sprite.pac (which MMARCHIVE will open, just change the file type to "all files"), and you are not placing DEF's in the right archive. Read the Era Manual for more information.
